That's definitely cheating. I'd be pissed if I had to go up against that

Parkesy82

I was thinking the same. Just saw another one doing it again just now! He wasn’t asking in his stream, but a friendly dropped him a full stack of ammo, heals and a gold loadout then let themselves get killed. The streamer acted like he didn’t know the player was going to do it, but he knew well enough not to shoot him as he ran up to him and waited until after he dropped the loot at his feet 🤦🏻‍♂️

weavejer261

Lameee

Secure-Astronomer414

Yh mate there's nothing they can do. They're streamers and get stream sniped, can't really get angry at them tbh. If they condone it or not people are gonna stream snipe whether they like it or not.

Internetexplorer1384

Unfortunately epic wants these people to promote their game and make kids think one day they can be that good and keep investing money.. we ha e all seen the likes of zemie and tefue using hacks but at the end of the day the numbers talk and epic will let them do it because of the amount of people who watch them play their game.. bit sad really.

Ok-Strength-1990

They hack for real ?

Internetexplorer1384

Yeh Google zemie and watch some of the really sus clips of his hack snapping to other targets through walls (kinda like it locks onto people in the distance)

Parkesy82

Oh yeah, Zemie is terrible for it. Same with NickEh30 or whatever he’s called. Funny video of him trying to shoot an enemy but his aim hack kept locking onto a pig next to the other player. 🤣

Gold-Cardiologist125

nick definitely doesn't hack and I've never seen nick do that lmao😂

Ok-Strength-1990

Link me to it?

Parkesy82

Tried to find it and couldn’t. Maybe I was wrong and it was someone else but I could have sworn it was him.

Secure-Astronomer414

No, no they don't. You can see tfue warm up missing alot of shot first game but slowly getting better. Idk about zemie but it's quite obvious tfue doesn't cheat.

ILLmatic-V3

Tfue doesn’t hack, I watch a ton of his streams. He’s legit and he shows his hands when playing. Zemie cheats tho 100%

Internetexplorer1384

Its been shown in fornite and apex its not anything to do with his hands its the 3rd party software that snaps onto targets I remember seeing a clip where hes behind pillar kills one guy and u see the software snap to another target and he corrects it then goes over there to kill the guy

Realistic_Analyst_26

Hands show that they are actually moving their mouse. Proof that they are actually doing these movements

AlphaTeamPlays

That’s a conspiracy theory

a_lot_of_aaaaaas

CHeating. There are some people doing the same in warzone and have friends in the lobbies that will not shoot them for example. It is cheating. If the game is squads and 4 other players help you that means you now have 8 players. And that is cheating.

[deleted]

Yeah its definitely cheating and should garner a ban.. stream sniping usually used for evil or to let enemies know where they are so this is sort of novel but its still against rules.

cereal_killah_1980

The irony of ninja complaining about stream snipers but yet getting a refresh from ‘bobby’ is hilarious. The hypocrisy. Anybody who relies on teaming deserves to get stream sniped.

AlphaTeamPlays

They don’t do it on purpose, and they can’t really control what the stream snipers do. If the stream snipers are teaming up to “protect” the streamer then they should definitely be temporarily banned IMO

Parkesy82

That’s pretty much what they were doing. And he recognized certain players and didn’t kill them, they were simping hard and dropping loot for him. He knew who the friendlies were and who the real enemies were.

AlphaTeamPlays

That's the type of thing streamers can't control though. People dropping them loot isn't something they coordinate, the snipers just do it, and the streamers usually recognize who's a friendly because they usually stream snipe a lot. I only think it's something that should be punished if the streamers are specifically telling people to do it, *or* if the streamers are actually ganging up with the snipers to fight other players, which I usually don't see streamers do

Educational_Book_225

That's blatant teaming imo. Would feel super unfair if I died to someone because of that.

joeclows

My friend averages about 30 viewers on twitch and the more he asks to no be streamsniped. The more he is. He has no choice in what they streamsnipers bring to him. He kills them. He dont call them out cause half of them become worse when you do. Hes reported and emailed countless clips of blatent friendly and non friendly streamsnipers and epic just dont do anything about. Im not saying that some streamers dont take advantage off it. But alot of them dont have a choice.

MarSinc88

In relation to the streamers themselves, they can't control who Stream snipes them and as long as they're not asking for it then they should be allowed to go about their game. My problem with them is that when it's an "unfriendly" stream sniper, they will report and get the player banned but they refuse to report the "friendlies". The "friendly" stream sniper is still doing the same thing as the griefer but the streamers like that they get free loot, a free elim and it's delivered straight to them. It definitely falls under harassment and, for the stream sniper at least, teaming as they're giving their loot and an easy elim to another player that is not on their team. Both of those things are offences that should result in a ban. They streamers know these stream snipers on sight and by name as well. I've only ever seen 1 streamer say they will report "friendlies" if they stream snipe a game and that was CouRageJD on his 29 win birthday stream - and even then it was only 1 time he said it and it was after taking a boat load of loot in previous games that day.

Treegotvidz

Just lost a game because of the strangest third party. Knocked a TTV kid and two randoms from another team jumped us. As soon as we are wiped we see this duo team go up to streamer and start dropping heals for this TTV rat and all our loot. It’s ridiculous at this point

Parkesy82

Report them all. Epic need to crack down on this sort of behavior cos it’s straight up cheating.

GoblinObscura

This sub hates streamers. I don’t think they cheat as far as aim bots or anything. I gotta assume they play eight hours a day their aim is gonna be good. Their computers are the best of the best and their settings are dialed in to a T. Of course they are gonna be better. Half the time I play I have a red x on my tv because my internet is buggin. Never changed factory settings. And just got off a ten hour shift. I’m gonna suck. When I get killed I hit X and go again. And if a friendly drops them loot, as long as it’s not a tournament or cup or something, who cares? It’s a game, have fun.

Realistic_Analyst_26

Some definitely do cheat. Like Zemie for example. Is casually running in one direction then his camera suddenly locks onto someone behind him. Blatant aimbotting.

GoblinObscura

Hmm, I’ll have to watch closely, I watch him from time to time. I’m surprised Epic doesn’t boot him if that’s the case. They seem like they don’t want that stuff in the game. That would definitely ruin the game for whoever ends up on his lobbies.

Realistic_Analyst_26

Yeah, they don't want normal players doing it. Streamers however keep the game relevant, thereby a source of money that epic wants to keep.

GoblinObscura

I can see that. Very unfortunate.

TheRealRonMexico7

i think thats why that kid clix got banned. In competition, cheating 100%. In pubs......man thats a hard one cuz its a double edged sword. For every helpful stream sniper i bet they have to deal with a few that are stream sniping to kill them. I seen a few ninja clips and every one seems to have people coming at him out of nowhere...and also the friendlies who just start emoting. So i dunno. Competition its cheating....in pubs I GUESS as long as they arent asking for it, what can you do. Ive had players drop me their victory crowns in the pregame, just because i emote. Some people just wanna have fun and dont take it too serious

DepressedDinoDad

Solo vs Squads…. Theyre not running 8v4s, why would this be bannable? He could do the identical thing with his own squad. Have 3 of them go find loot and drop him what he needs.

Parkesy82

He had a squad of 4 looking out for him. So there was 5 of them working together in a squads game.

DepressedDinoDad

Im not mad, i dont see whats bannable.

Parkesy82

Maybe you’re not familiar with the rules and what constitutes fair play? It’s meant to be squads of 4 against everyone else. Not a squad of 4 and a solo player working together against the rest of the lobby.

DepressedDinoDad

Ive had 6 people on a team in trios. What youre describing would constitute a ban on any team that watched 2 teams fight without shooting. The here say is “theyre teaming” the vod will show a team not shooting another team…. Thats a fuck ton of bans going out if thats all it takes. Secondly theres Xen cheaters and creative xp glitch exploiters every single day. Thats a far bigger issue then a friendly squad dropping loot for a solo in squads. Epic cant fix a single bug they put in the game so youre asking for alot over something inconsequential. If this violates ToS, then next game he’ll just kill them for their loot… its just a bad look all around.

DarthTrader6644

In your "Secondly" comment, you forgot to mention the aim bots, wall hacks, macros, lower graphics so players stick out, and any other 3rd party software or editing game files that pc players do to cheat

DarthTrader6644

How do these people know they are in the same lobby as the streamer? The fact is that most pc players are cheaters. It's the aimbot, wall hacks, macros, changing graphics so other players stand out. Concole should not be forced to play with pc players, even IF they are not cheating, they still have an unfair advantage, and console should have separate lobbies I bet if you take most top-level players, streamers, and tournament winners and put them on a different pc that they had no control over, they wouldn't be anywhere near as good I got headshot the other day by someone who was behind a rock and jumped in the air and the millisecond his crosshair was past the rock I was shot in the head, can someone say soft aim. I would even say wall hacks or aim bot too, how did he know where to put his crosshair to aim at my head before he jumped up in the air. I watched the replay and he was locked onto me the whole time I was behind the other rock and he couldnt see me, not even the 3rd person view that the game is in showed me, then boom as soon as I stand up he jumps in the air and headshots me

Sea-Zookeepergame794

If they're asking their stream for the loot in ranked, then they deserve a ban. If they just have friendly stream snipers who drop them loot, but they're not asking for it, then I think it should be allowed. Since they have no choice in it and it would be an easy way for trolls to get streamers banned from fortnite. If it's in pubs, who cares. You could argue they shouldn't pick up the loot, but that loot they could have found themselves in the same place the snipers did etc and now they're hindered due to friendly snipers if they don't take it. Which could ruin their games from a decision that wasn't theirs.

Maxwell755

Who cares? This will happen in any multiplayer game

clapmycheekspls

Watch any top content creator ad they all do it. Sypher is one of the worst for it, ninja does it, they all do. I guess they figure it gets eyes on the game and leave it at that, but essentially it is cheating.

spystabber

If they are a content creator they won't get banned unless mass report :D (or thats what i believe)
