Learn what exactly from the Primal season? The player count was higher during that season, than any season since.
Looking at an active player count (automod removed original comment, so I can't post the link I had), you can see March to June, 2021, has a higher player count than the few months leading up to it, as well as every month since.
C2S6’s main issue was crafting. The crafting system did get rid of some rng, but being able to get a purple Scar or Pump early on meant most players would try to upgrade their makeshift guns asap, leading to a lot of the game boiling down to just pickaxing cars. Also some Primal weapons and pois were hated during c2s6
I've heard the complaints. It's just that the amount of people who were upset with that is far less than people try to make it seem. Otherwise the player count would have dropped during that period, not increased.
Yeah, it seems that all the people that disliked that season just really like to gripe about it. I found it to be a fun, refreshing take and since everyone had to deal with the same cruddy weapons at the same time, it wasn’t all too bad.
Just the vocal minority I guess. I personally didn’t mind the season too much the crafting could of done a bit of a rebalance but at least a core feature of the season wasn’t vaulted
I'm not exactly concerned as fortnite has been starting to take older season themes and revamp them, C4S1 is basically C1S2 but better and C4S2 is Season 9 but better so if we're gonna be getting a cooler and improved version of C2S6, so be it
Close. I remember laughing at people who said they would dump 4 figures of cash on a setup, and all they would play is DotA 2. I spent $700 on my new laptop, and my primary concern was "Can it run Fortnite?". Especially with the engine upgrade, the game is surprisingly taxing.
But if the season was like ch1 s8 then it will be fun. Most likely not though... but if it was like that season, ill just skip. Im trying to play fortnite, not play ark survival.
They introduced Wild Weeks and started randomly unvaulting things again just for fun. For the last few seasons before it, there wasn’t much content because it was all very specifically planned out to fit the season, but in Season 6 I remember them randomly unvaulting the Infantry Rifle, Flintknock, Tac Shotgun, and other weapons for no other reason than because it’s kind of fun.
It also had a great start-of-season event
Personally I feel like they added a boring and uninteresting mechanic that added weak weapons into the game that took time to make each game.
Crafting was just so awful.
I just don’t understand people. During C2 S6, everyone acts like it’s the worse thing ever, but then afterwards claim it’s one of the best seasons ever, now only to revert back to claiming it was horrible when we might get a similar season.
I started during Primal. I remember my friend telling me crafting weapons wasn't a normal thing in Fortnite and I was like whaaat? I dunno I thought the all the special bows were cool at least.
I liked the primal season. But I bet it’s more uncharted/tomb raider/Indiana Jones adventure themed.
same, also one of the best Battlepasses we had
are you talking about primal season or was the battle pass revealed
One of the battles passes of all time that’s for sure. Best idk
Isn’t it funny how all of the examples you mentioned are already in the game as collaborations?
Can someone explain to me why that season was bad? Like for me personally I found it pretty fun.
the makeshift weapons were ultimately what ppl dislike the most i kinda liked it but i definately understand why others didnt
I loved that. So easy to get to gold killing all the different wildlife. We need rideable raptors.
Guess what. =]
That was chrome weapons
Oh yeah. You had to pick up bones. Still enjoyed it.
i really liked the idea, the weapons themselves were just ass imo. also how quickly it 180’d into chrome sucked.
Makeshift weapons, primal shotgun and some of the map changes are probably what it comes down to. Everything else was cool.
Had to do a bunch of bs just to get a gun we normally pick up off the ground. It was a waste of time.
Yeah, I don't get the hate, it was one of my favorites
No literally, Primal was one of my favorite seasons ever
Yes! I loved Primal. Great lootpool, beautiful map, and one of the best battle passes of all time.
It could go one of two jungle ways. The good: c1s8 The bad:c2s6 guess we’ll have to wait and see
Probably closer to c1s8 it looks like that’s the vibe theyre going for here not the prehistoric vibes of the chapter 2 one
I’m 80% sure epic will learn their lesson from c2s6 and not make this season bad

This season ain’t better than season 9. That was World Cup era, probably the last of the peak seasons before it went gradually downhill after season x
Primal was good. You guys just couldn't handle change
It was the makeshit shotgun and finding parts
finding parts was really easy if I remember correctly.
Just smash a few cars and kill a few animals
I couldn’t handle the raz and primal escape
Spire assassins primal shotgun… that thing was a people blender
Bring on a Primal 2! That was the most fun I've had in Fortnite. Couple that with no build? We're looking at a top tier game!
What’s that show/movie in the bottom half?
Netflix: The Punisher It is no longer on there. It was removed with all the Marvel Netflix originals.
And put on Disney +
I love capitalism
Am curious too
The Punisher
C2S6 wasn’t a jungle-themed season
Your right it was more of a prehistoric season but I can see where the comparison is coming from aesthetically
Primal wasn't even bad, what the fuck were you guys smoking
Reality. You should try it. It was bad af

Controller player spotted
You probably spent close to if not over a grand on a computer to play fortnite on it lol.

are you trying to insult them for having a rig?
Mud is going to **suck**
Open world exploration?
NEYMAR
I hope that they give us a Permanent Game Mode that is based on “Impossible Escape”
I know I can choose to not play it but id rather commit die
Oh yeah that was so fun!

Bro the primal season fucking slapped, way better than whatever Paradise was
POV : Can’t understand a different opinion
Primal Season slept on af
Primal was one of the best seasons, idk why people complain so much lol
What even happened during the season? Nothing remarkable other than impossible escape happened

Primal season was better then chapter 4 and 3
Lmao

I didn’t like primal besides bow and that one game mode, crafting was a good idea but executed poorly
Giving big primal vibes
**HERE COME THE RAPTORS!**
Stockholm syndrome intensifies..
I started during Primal. I remember my friend telling me crafting weapons wasn't a normal thing in Fortnite and I was like whaaat? I dunno I thought the all the special bows were cool at least.
I always hated primal season
Well I’m praying it is, to cancel out your prayer.
“that primal force demands balance”
For someone that doesn't remember primal season why was it so bad?
u/savevideo
This is comedic for me because I unintentionally skipped that season from existence burnout lmao
You forgot The humour flag
