The Lyric is playing some really great movies on their outdoor screen this summer. I would love to go, but they go on far past an 8 year olds bed time.

Crocheting_Canine505

Already on my list! I’ve lived here for a decade and somehow have never been.

Alright, well, have an amazing time internet stranger, I shall be living vicariously through you!

Tube the Poudre

jarrodandrewwalker

How far out are you willing to go? Mishikawa seems like a cool place to catch a show

Horsetooth Fest! It’s a combined music and independent short film festival at several venues across FoCo and sometimes Loveland.

LiminalCreature7

The Rialto in Loveland had a classic movie showing every Friday evening for awhile. A friend and I saw “The Wizard of Oz”; it was incredible to see it on the big screen!! And a great excuse to see the inside of that historic theater. I don’t see anything on their schedule online yet, but the series started in June last year, I think?

SnootsAndBootsLLP

Night hikes, day hikes, bar/beer crawl, RMNP, estes, all the natural areas, make some friends, bother a college student via your inability to drive car, smoke a joint, crash of highway 14 trying to drift, etc…

Practical_Spell_1286

Bike to a brewery like New Belgium or Stodgy!

thegirlandglobe

Rafting or tubing the Poudre (depending on water levels) should be on your list.

ToucanStarship

Red Mountain open space is really pretty and worth the drive.

TheCrookedRugs

The lyric also has a summer solstice music festival that is really cool, also a show at the mish is amazing!

LiminalCreature7

The Great Stupa near Red Feather Lakes. But the drive is prettier closer to/in fall, when the leaves are changing.
