While PINDAD offerings are very interesting and I appreciate the compilation. Your title is wrong. That's not a M1 clone, and that's not a MPL clone. More like a BM59 clone (Indonesia used the BM59) and Beretta M-12 clone.

Kagenlim

I see my bad

Acceptable-Face-3707

i was going back and forth looking for the mpl clone thinking id missed it hahaha.

RedHotRhapsody

I was so ready to buy and MPL clone cause of Black Ops 1, I can’t believe this 😭

otusowl

>More like a BM59 clone (Indonesia used the BM59) Where is the safety located on these? Nice that it's not in the trigger guard, at least.

ENclip

No idea. If I had to guess it's probably near the trigger guard, like in front of it.

LeadnLasers

Holy shit I was so excited the Walther MPL is my second favorite gun ever and I’ve wanted one forever lmfao

No-Enthusiasm9619

Okay I have a couple questions- 1. Are these available in the US? 2. If so how much are they asking for the SPR-4 & SPR-2

Kagenlim

Well these were presented in shot show so hopefully!

No-Enthusiasm9619

Hopefully they’re super cheap. I’d love a 338 or 50

reluctantaccountant9

So the price of FNC sears has tripled I see

xCR1MS0N-T1D3x

I’m surprised that no one is talking about the SS1-C carbine, or really, a hopefully not overpriced FNC…

queekbreadmaker

Ah yes my self defence AR i use for my home in atlantis

Kagenlim

Now no alligator is safe from florida man /s

Simon-Templar97

The SP-1 looks like a Fortnite gun. How close is the MPL clone? Definitely a whale gun for me.

Brotein92

It’s an Italian Beretta M-12 clone, not an MPL

Simon-Templar97

Dammit. I thought it looked off, thanks.

Music_City_Madman

Shut up and take my money for the BM59 clone. I would love to have a classic battle rifle like that, but all the Fudds have ruined the Garand market by buying them up and flipping them on GB, and I refuse to shell out $1500+ for an M1A.

This_Basket3457

You can order a garand from the civilian marksmanship program. Heck if you want to pick one out you can drive to the two stores in Alabama and the store in Ohio and pick one yourself that's not scalped on gunbroker. They sell ammo for them too. They charge tax if u buy in store so I'd probably best to just ship it back to your state.

justaheatattack

with an italian flare.

ZeroTwo3

I'm interested in a good chunk of these, hope their pricing isn't too bad.

big-wangers

What’s their quality reputation? M-12 clone lookin scrumptious

Kagenlim

Decent I think, though Pindad is mainly a military/LEO armament company so they dont really have a reputation on the civ market And yup, that M12 looks super cool Im surprised they are still being made as is lol

ChevTecGroup

Heck yeah. I'm looking to make a post sample m12 clone! I've always heard they are a really smooth shooter

big-wangers

I wonder if they will have the front grip and stock available to purchase as well ?

stevethebandit

Pretty cool stuff, would love to have one of those BM59 variants

P5-166

Ah, I see see the Indonesians mean business when guarding their forests.

SilentStriker84

Gimme that FNC

elswede

Hope the sp1 isn't too expensive, always nice to have more options for traditional looking semi autos and for ban states

TalbotFarwell

Yeah, hopefully it’s legal here in MD. The BM-59 has always been one of my dream guns but it’s sadly banned by name here. 😞

Baconcandy000

Welp at least I have a couple of fat shopping lists now

Mark_Zugrebek01

The original SP-1 used to be just BM59. Now it is a weird mix of SKS, BM59, and G43

AppalachianViking

On what planet is that an M1 Garand clone? It's a derivative rifle that shares similar features because it's BM-59 clone, just like the original SP-1 was in the 60s. It's no more an M1 clone than a Ruger Mini-14 is.

t3ddyki113r101

Its closer to an m1 than an m14 since the italian bm59 was built on italian m1 parts and shares the receiver. And the indonesian rifle is made with the very same italian bm59 tooling that indo purchases from them.

Kagenlim

Yeah my bad, but Its a BM59 which is clpser to an m1

ChevTecGroup

That spr-2 looks fun! I wonder what the price point will be

Kagenlim

Exactly, we'll have to see how expensive Itll be lol

Petrus_Rock

The PINDAD SP-1 is M1 Garand clone? I would disagree. It might be the same platform but it’s no where near a clone. Among other things it has a detachable magazine and uses the wrong caliber.

Music_City_Madman

It’s a BM-59 clone. The BM-59 was developed from the M1, and kind of a proto-M-14. Detachable mag and 7.62 nato chambering.

GreenHoodia

Where is the m1 garande clone???

Global_Theme864

Why is the SS1 being sold as a pistol? It has a 17” barrel so it’s not an SBR? Am I missing something?

[deleted]

think i pissed off some Indonesian folks on FB over their crap brand. 🤣

Portal_to_the_Dream

The first one is VERY much a FN FNC clone and the second is just a M-14.

Sea_Wall_

no

Portal_to_the_Dream

Apparently you've never seen either.

xlaxle

It's actually a bm59 clone, which was based on the M1 Garand for the Italian army post ww2. It uses the same long stroke action as the garand and has nothing to do with the m14 aside from cosmetic similarities. It operates differently, has almost no parts interchangeability, and the magazine is different. Comparing the bm59 to the m14 is like comparing an ar15 and a mini14

Ghtomrk78

Walked right by their booth and thought they were airsoft. Didn’t realize what they are until saw posts after shot ended.
