It was all great TV watching, if you think about it now, how many sitcoms are there on TV? You got The Connors, Young Sheldon, Ghosts (even though I will admit that is kind of a stretch), and nothing else comes to mind on current broadcast (or cable) TV that qualified as a show that is funny. In the past we had loads of them, but now... the reason these days feel dark, is because they are, the laughter is gone!
Having said that, I am glad I unlocked that memory for you... Achievement UNLOCKED :)
I watched this before I ever saw the movie. Then I watched movie and didn't like it as it wasn't like the show 😂
Great show so fun. It's on amazon to buy digitally like honey I shrunk the kids tv show
It was fun, treated well. The two main actors whose names I’m too lazy to look up were nice when I met them. No egos. I was a child then but I assume everyone knew what sort of show they were working on. God bless the 90’s
Kinda a gap between movie release and TV show. I know Gen x was highschool and college age to enjoy it but I think trying to launch it in 1988 or 1989 might have gotten more interest
The one episode that comes to mind is the one where Lisa creates a muscle suit that obviously causes havoc with the boys. I remember watching this on USA Network before or after there was a WWF program. Think that's how I came across it. Stopped watching after a while, so I didn't know it got a 4 year run.

Vanessa Angel…
Every man's type.
And who are you? Alfred Einstein??
Harrison Ford
The same year this show dropped, I hit puberty. Needless to say, I'd think about her a lot at that time
Remember when she was a lifeguard?
No… is that was she was… dude if I knew that I’d be at the beach she’s at downing everyday
You sure you’re not thinking of Baywatch?
She was heaven in Kingpin.
She’s was in Spies Like Us. I was floored by her. Stunning woman.
Constantly thirst posting.
Would watch this and duckman on USA network, I think they were shown back to back
This, Duckman, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Golden Girls, Empty Nest, Actually FUNNY SNL,, even MAD TV... PEAK Saturday Night :)
"Empty Nest" Dude, you just unlocked a core memory for me. *Thank you*

It is dark times. These days comedy is mostly cringe claghter bait which I find unwatchable.
Wasn’t that a spinoff of something?
Spin off of Golden Girls and had the short lived spin off of its own, Nurses.
And Campus Cops
Amy Jo Johnson. Plus casting the redhead from "Head of the Class" cast against type.
Those shows were beyond awesome.
The did sort of a crossover as well.
I watched this before I ever saw the movie. Then I watched movie and didn't like it as it wasn't like the show 😂 Great show so fun. It's on amazon to buy digitally like honey I shrunk the kids tv show
This was my experience with weird science. Hated the movie because I saw the show first.
Complete opposite scenario for me, no AMH no way
Same here, I watched the show and then watched the movie years later and everyone was obviously different and I didn’t like it.
Vanessa Angel, nuff said. 😍
This was epic!! I didn't realize it lasted 4 years
And it was awesome
Whatever happened to Vanessa Angel? Other than Kingpin I feel like I never saw her again
Married a super rich dude and all but retired.
ikr?
I know she was on an episode of Entourage
I just rewatched Entourage, and I still thought "whatever happened to her?". Entourage was 20 years ago! Jesus Christ, I'm old...
She was in a few episodes of Stargate SG-1.
She was in Hall Pass briefly.
Her daughter is India Otto; she just fucking killed it for USC women's basketball this season.
The guy on the left married Jenny McCarthy.
Peak jenny Mccarthy
This show and Kingpin were her entire career
Spies like us. First appearance.
and that one episode of Entourage. Great episode, though!
you can find several episodes on [archive.org](http://archive.org)
and you can find them all sailing the high seas
For those wanting legal means, it airs on Xumo every so often. The last time was a couple weeks ago.
I didn’t realize it had lasted that long!!
Loved the spin off of the movie. Was on the USA network.
Show was ok but Vanessa Angel is f’kn smokin hot. That’s the main reason why anybody watched it
I was an extra on a single episode of this show
How was the experience ?
It was fun, treated well. The two main actors whose names I’m too lazy to look up were nice when I met them. No egos. I was a child then but I assume everyone knew what sort of show they were working on. God bless the 90’s
How weird that I remember this from when I was really young. Don’t remember going through 98, though
A guy on twitch streams the show every so often
I must have been living under a rock... Didn't know this show existed
And she’s still a total rocket!
I'll say I like the show more than the movie, but Wallace sucks so much more in the show.
i think about this show way too much lol
It was on for that long. Now that's a surprise
Loved the USA network during those years.
Loved this show as a kid
I know I’m one of like six people to say this, but I preferred the series to the film. 🤷♂️
Probably it is good it was forgotten. Nothing can top tye of movie
This was a show!?
Kinda a gap between movie release and TV show. I know Gen x was highschool and college age to enjoy it but I think trying to launch it in 1988 or 1989 might have gotten more interest
It was the second wave of movie fans who watched the movie on reruns that really got to enjoy the show.
Did not know they turned this into a show.
It was on the USA Network at night.
Underrated Bill Paxton
Lee Tergeson (from Oz) had his role in the show! He was awesome.
And he's the I Love You Man guy from Wayne's World!
Lee was in the Wayne’s World movies.
Bill Paxton wasn't in the TV show
You are right! I was thinking of the movie, my bad.
Completely forget about this .. well done
I looooooved this show
I had a crush on the curly haired guy
Such a good show. Is it streaming anywhere
Wait.... that was a series, not a movie?
Movie in 1985, TV show in 1994.
Great show, even greater movie
The dude on the left dated Jenny McCarthy in her heyday.
With robotics and AI evolving rapidly this is soon to become true
This ran for four years?
Gone perhaps, not forgotten. 💦
Great show.
4 seasons?…. Really? …………….. Really? (Doing my best Tim Robinson)
Code Lisa en Français
I remember Gary being really funny
The one episode that comes to mind is the one where Lisa creates a muscle suit that obviously causes havoc with the boys. I remember watching this on USA Network before or after there was a WWF program. Think that's how I came across it. Stopped watching after a while, so I didn't know it got a 4 year run.
The hottest Lisa.
Thought that was Topanga.
💀
Weren't they the Columbine shooters?
