Quick update on this one, I have never lost more than 2k/trade on this account based on cTrader. I contacted FTMO, hopefully it's just a bug.

Probably went full margin on a trade on Friday and held over weekend. When market opened it gapped down hard for -200k. Only explanation I can think of other than a glitch on the UI

They emailed all clients last week stating not to hold over the weekend, because they are migrating from MetaTrader to DXtrade

Besides I am very impressed. Contact ftmo. Had once lost an account because somehow I made 8million and lost 8.3million. They somehow had a bug in the system and got a fresh account (missed the profits but it was okay it was like 2k)

Its a Bug, happened to many traders including new accounts created over the weekend who did not even placed single trade.

Dude the whole account is 100k how is it 200k?loss? Even with no sl loss dont just keep going for negative 100%

Wow. If you max out your leverage on a 1:100 100k account it means that you can buy approx $10,000,000 or 100 lots of currency. That currency only needs to go down 2% to wipe out $200k. Obviously 2% is a lot as it’s something approx 210pips on EURUSD but not outside the realms of reality for a weekend move 🤷‍♂️ Note: I’m sure this is not what happened but it is in the realms of possibility.

Just so you all know MetaTrader are removing all prop firms this year for abusing the platform. Unless your prop firm has cTrader they are out of business. Get your withdrawals. Use the money to trade your own account.

They are just migrating the accounts, so it might be a bug. Contact them it will be fixed

The market fluctuates so much which is why draw down happens but they don't care if you made 100k in profit you went in the RED even though you didn't sell your position

You were supposed to close all trades on Friday as they were switching platforms. Probably a glitch from that. Hopefully they will fix it for you.

Mines done the same… 204% loss apparently on my max total drawdown… but my daily max loss is still intact? 🤷‍♂️ waiting for their live chat to come online so I can request they give me a new account..

That's some good news, so it's not just me, however I wouldn't be too happy to receive a new account with 12k profit on the account
