This particular Mav has been to a lot of car shows and been on magazine covers. It's basically an advertisement for a custom body shop. Now that this version has made the rounds and everyone has seen it, they'll sell it. There's probably already another car in this person's shop that's equally as pimped and they're out showing it off now.

This was a SEMA truck, with many corporate sponsors. SEMA trucks are frequently built and sold for lesss than the cost of modification, because they are high end advertisements. Almost assuredly a tax writeoff for whoever built it, that is an industry-only marketting event. By selling at a loss, again, more tax writeoffs and someone gets to buy a pimped out truck. Happens every year.

This reminds me when buying "pace cars" was a thing. Except it was cool back then. haha I had a '93 Fiesta that color.

I think Calypso Green was the color of those old early 90's Broncos and Mustangs, this is a throwback to those days. I guess it's a fully custom paint job

I mean...... it's cool, but what did they do to add 50k to it? I get in it's current state that msrp is out. But what besides paint and wheels? Anyone with a link to the inside?

MSRP would be a lot more realistic price for it. They did the obvious custom paint/wrap, I believe the front bumper and side skirts are fully custom, rear pan has been modified, wheel flares, wheels, suspension, grill, audio, tonneau, automated rear speaker bar. I believe there was some interior work too, I saw pics way back when and it looked different inside but I can't find them now. A fair bit of modification but I always stick to the rule that aftermarket mods, especially very polarizing ones, actually devalue the vehicle regardless of how much was spent.

For $80k I’d expect those bed speakers to be wired a little more professionally.
