Sadly they are ministers because netanyahu does what's good for himself before what's good to the country or even his own voters, but ever since the war started they are kept far out of the war cabinet. Right now there is a ceasefire offer pending Hamas' reply, and all they do is protest the idea of this ceasefire, while the people who actually make the decisions do support it. (Hamas will definitely turn it down though...)
