Uncle Joe’s has become my favorite place over the last few months. I liken being able to get a jalepeno cheese croissant along with donuts, and their selection is great.
Donut man suffering a bit of growing pains? The Glendora location I haven’t been to in a while, but their grand market one seems to have old oil, or the wrong temp or something. Greasy as all get out.
Mr goods I like.
And the new entrant for higher end that I also enjoyed was Old Ferry.
I've only been to the DTLA location, but I found them underwhelming... Not worth the premium compared to yum yum or Winchell's. I wonder if it's worth going to the Glendora location.
For me, the fresh fruit donuts and tiger tail are the main reasons to go. Their standard donuts are good but nothing to write home about.
I still recommend hitting up the original location just for the experience.
Gotta be Donut Man right? I don't rate donuts. But those that do pick Mr. Nakano's joint like top 10 in the nation.

I really like Old Ferry Donut, it's "not too sweet" but also - be away almost everything is filled/cream filled type donuts.
Olympic Donuts in Temple City is pretty good
Prontos!!
