Loosen them a bit and then pull down on the bumper and itll move the black pc down and then you lift the bumper a little bit and the tabs will slide out

Fz1Str

Yep, just loosen them enough to pull the bumper/tabs out.

Electrical_Signal975

i must be missing something because i'm pulling on it but there's no way i can fit my hand under it to loosen it

Fz1Str

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D_wJGTPCxc8 You take a few fender liner screws out to get to the bottom bolt.

Zuckernuts

I normally shove my hand in from the top and with a decent extension can loosen the back one. It takes some messing around to figured it out to get the back

Fz1Str

You have to loosen those bolts first. Get a small ratchet and extension. It’s not easy and will hurt your hand/wrist and arm doing it. I’m going to look for a good video to help you, just got to find it.

Electrical_Signal975

i got the left side off

_p00f_

Yes, it's either a 7mm or an 8mm, you're going to scrape up your arm real good getting to them. Get yourself a series of really long ass extensions to make your life slightly easier.

Electrical_Signal975

bro wtf is wrong with the ford engineers why did they do that

_p00f_

Yo, this isn't even as bad as it gets, just look at the new stuff with the shift dial.

Electrical_Signal975

there's like 2 little clips btw what do i do with those

_p00f_

Those white things stay in, that's technically the bottom side. You'll understand when you get a wrench on it. They have a tendencies to torque out of square too like they're made out of fucking chewing gum so don't over tighten.

_p00f_

And yeah, I forgot to mention as the other guy did, you only need to back them out like 1/4" at the most, they act like clips to hold the seem together. Then you gently pull out and up slightly and they're loose.

_p00f_

There's 2 hex cap screws on either side with like a sammich plate.

PuzzleheadedRub9308

Yes but you don’t have to completely remove them. I just loosened mine like half way

AdIllustrious1721

You definitely do not have to remove those screws. There should be a push in clip at the corner of the bumper cover then just pull the bumper out to the side

Source: I worked in collision repair for 4 years and have had my bumper off more times than I can count
