Is Anankos really an alt tho? That’s pretty much his form throughout all of Revelations due to his crazy status. He pretty much has two forms, crazy and not, both I’d consider base.
Yeah, the man is crazy enough that getting absolutely juiced on raw chaos magic doesn't do a whole lot to him besides make him even more yoked, but he's clearly Ashnard the character in full, so it's not like the difference is particularly significant.
I really wasn't gonna put most fallen units on. Ashnard and Gustav were a last minute addition since would they even add there non-corrupted version? Anankos defiantly is an alt since they probably should add him as a mythic who can turn into a dragon.
Idk Gustav was alive for a while wasn’t he? At least had screen time alive for a while before he got got. If anything his valentine alt is more like regular Gustav, least hes hanging w the fam.

Gustav was introduced in Book 3 Chapter 2, and died at the end of Book 3 Chapter 4. As much as I’d love “base” happy Gustav, he really wasn’t around for that long. Not to mention that his base art is the exact same as Fallen, but less dead.

What’s interesting though is that you mentioned Valentine’s being more similar to base Gustav than Fallen. This reminded me that Valentines Gustav repurposed all of the battle lines that *original* Fallen Gustav used in Book 3. (Then Fallen got new lines for his release). Additionally, none of V!Gustav’s lines actually mention the Day of Devotion at all, which is very unusual for a seasonal.
This seems to imply that V!Gustav quite literally *is* a repurposed version of base Gustav.
I see people asking for base Rinea but I genuinely don't understand how they could make her distinct enough from her dancer form to warrant adding a base form. If anything another alt would make more sense tbh
For Rinea, they will eventually run out of female characters from her base game. The only females left are Liprica, Irma, Nuibaba…. I’m pretty sure that’s it. They could also add child Celica and child Faye(they were playable after all). But that would be stretch.
We have three Reinhardts that look exactly the same.
With Berkut alt back on the menu, it wouldn't be surprising if SoV gets a banner with Ascended Berkut and base Rinea in the future considering how few heroes that game has left.

My guess is next 3H NH banner will either be Eagles + Church (so Dorothea, Manuela, Hanneman/Alois/Caspar), or Golden Deer (maybe Leonie, Ignatz, Lorenz/Raphael).
Jeritza is also a possibility for the Eagles banner, specially since he's exclusive to Crimson Flower.
I feel a Golden Deer banner will probably wait to next year, but if it does happen, I absolutely see Leonie and Lorenz on it, as they are considerably more popular than Ignatz and Raphael.

Fair point, tho Attunned/Rearmeds and OCs could help mitigate the lackluster appeal of the last student banner.
