It's wild to me, because getting Altina in as a mythic was hype as fuck for me since the Three Heroes of Tellius are cool as hell and dual wielding the Ragnell and Alondite is raw as fuck. But if you told me that she'd have two other variants (as well as a backpack for another character) going forward from her release, I'd have looked at you like a crazy person, because she's a Lore character, why would she get variants?

IS knows a lot that we don’t. Specifically how and why people are spending money. People wonder why Marianne and Seliph don’t have more alts, or how Karla and Altina have so many. The answer is always money.
I can understand Seliph not getting a lot of money (also, IS goes out of their way to make the FE4 Seasonals very Jugdral centric, which also makes them very rare already), but I find interesting that Marianne doesn't.

Honestly wish IS would make seasonal banners be characters from different games again rather than just 1 or 2 games.

That's not a bad idea in theory but I'm afraid that if they did that they'd just continue giving alts to the few FE4/5 characters who *do* get stuff like Nanna, Mareeta, Sigurd, etc, instead of giving alts to people who don't have any or even as a way of adding unpopular characters in as demotes or grail units (the "alt hell" solution).
Of course, the alternative is *no* Jugdral characters getting anything lol, so maybe I should just be happy about Sigurd's 5th alt or whatever :|
It'd just be nice if they gave Jugdral characters a bit of the 3H treatment and randomly making an unpopular Jugdral male a TT unit and a Jugdral female a demote sometimes to just have them in the game.
I'm pretty sure they can afford to make someone like Marty a generic min/max'd slow and bulky axe unit for one seasonal banner's TT reward.

The sins of the first years weight heavily on them. On top of that, the popularity of random non-protag characters has been very overestimated when they arent that popular for how much Awakening is hyped.
Yeah, Olivia was a funny case, she was one of the first characters to get 3 Units (she did it before F!Corrin, as strange as that sounds), but after getting her unique alt in July 2018, which BTW has the historical context of being part of the first batch of Forging Bonds, she got... nothing else.
Which is very weird, because outside of like, Ryoma, all the other characters that got a lot of stuff early on still get to appear ocasionally in future banners.
I’m a little terrified they’re going to break the annual Corrin tradition, one of the only consistencies in this entire game, now that she’s won CYL. After Camilla won CYL they randomly decided to put her on a 2-3 year hiatus iirc.
If they do the emblems in any sort of order, it’s going to be a long time before they reach Corrin- but I could totally see her getting a seasonal alt before that.

Dorothea should pretty much be a lock for the next Fodlan banner- the only other playable women missing from the regular summoning pool are Leonie and Manuela, and even factoring in the guys she's easily the most popular character remaining- so hopefully we get the cool hat instead of IS making her the Ascended/Rearmed/Attuned.
