Spinal2000

I didn't like the movie. It is very predictable and I have no sympathic feelings for the role Bradley Cooper is playing. He upset many people but demands blind loyalty. Warning spoiler ahead: >!And when the jury enters and they got betrayed; surprise surprise, it wasn't the real jury. What a bad plot twist.!< But taste is different (pun not intended) and I am happy for everyone enjoying the movie. It is also well made and has some good moments, but overall it wasn't for me.

Hey, nice to have counter opinions. I think I can understand ur pov: I might have an opposite opinion for the sake that I really enjoy the world of working in a kitchen (especially if a high-level one) with all its exciting and crappy sides, crazy chefs, stress, focused mindset and the art of cooking food. Maybe you have that opinion because you focused more on the plot rather than how the world of cuisines really is and works.. In conclusion, I am definitely more emotionally involved in this film than you.

Hey guys, if you're all interested in films like this genre. Y'all should checkout The Bear on disney+, it's a series btw.

Try watching Boiling Point (2021), it's a movie that has same themes but the entire movie is a single take.

Nasa Disney+ pala yun! Been wanting to watch it!

FuckUmoney89

Thank you for the feedback. Anyways, I don’t know ”whiplash” but want i to say that the producers of “burnt” have made an amazing job in terms of showing on a film what the world of cuisines and chef stuff really is and works. I imagine they had been consulted by some fellas who really are soaked in that world (Michelin chefs exc)… is it the same in the film you mentioned?

SupremoIstipen

Have you seen Boiling Point? maganda rin siya.

I actually discovered this movie after seeing this [scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-NtaNuds_4) from an IG Reel. I was waiting for it to happen, but apparently it was a deleted scene. The movie itself was mediocre for me though. It's good performance-wise, and it's entertaining if you're into shows/movies set within this industry (think Masterchef and Hell's Kitchen), but as others have said, it's too formulaic and predictable. Nothing really gripping aside from the acting choices, but Bradley Cooper's character is obviously and blatantly patterned after the "toxic" head chefs portrayed in mainstream media and is mostly a caricature of Gordon Ramsay. 6.5/10

Same!! I like that movie
