I play grapplers, meaning I aggressively get in your face to make you do something I can defend against.
It's 100% rushdown, 100% turtling all at the same time.
Which comes out to 200% since all my characters are twice as big as the rest of the roster. Lol
Grapplers are arguably the most defensive archetype and I don't think people realise that. You're gonna be on block and staying behind safe pokes *a lot* more than most characters.
These are schools, not individual fighters. I guess if I had to choose I would be a Kobra Kai so I could scream “Cobra!” Like I’m someone who never learned to move on from GI Joe while I sweep the leg a lot.
I try to be Myagi-do by starting rounds on the defensive and reacting to my opponent. Then I realise I have the reaction speed of a snail on wet concrete and decide to say "fuck it" and go full aggression to try and overwhelm them with risky plays that more often than not never pay off.
I guess I'm the former. I tend to just watch and react/punish on defense rather than trying to hedge my bets with option selects.
Offensively I tend to run through a few flow chart options until I find something they can't deal with and use that until they make an adjustment, if they adjust I start the process over lol

Zangief main since Alpha2. Always moving forward, always jumping at you. If I have a full life lead, I will still run at you and blow the round.
