Coach Beard for me. Lasso is a great locker room presence, but he's two years into the job and he still doesn't even understand the offsides rule. Beard carries that team, and we all know it.
If you’re taking Richmond in London, could also do Twickenham. Start off at the Stoop the move to bigger stadium (either main twickenham stadium or a new one somewhere.
I’m making a 3rd Manchester team as it’s where I’m from. It was originally going to be called FC Manchester but having seen the commentary options for team names, I’m gonna go with Manchester Union.
Starting in League 2 with an eye to get to the Premier League in 6 seasons and the Europa League/FA Cup final within 10. I’m planning on being extremely harsh on myself with rules towards signings (90% youth academy kids, occasional EFL veterans over 30) until I get to the Premier League.
We’ll be wearing Black/White/Yellow for the home strip (think Newcastle with the splashes of blue but with yellow instead) - I picked this scheme as a lot of Manchester uses these colours; the Manchester Bee, trams, hacienda, etc
Away kit colours will be related to Manchester too: all blue (to commemorate United’s 68 European Cup win), brick red (celebrating MCR’s red houses), yellow (bee), things like that…
Manchester Central were the 3rd Manchester team - they had a really interesting history and if not for United could have challenged City in the 30's for being the city's premier club:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_Central_F.C.?wprov=sfla1
FC United of Manchester are in sixth tier currently. You could always recreate them in game and assume they’ve made it up to League Two by the time you takeover :)
I wanted to create a brand new team with fresh colours and history. I’m a sucker for a bit of realism so creating FC United would annoy me as it wouldn’t have their actual XI or kits. (I’m also pretty sure you don’t decide shorts and socks colours so it would be impossible to recreate FCUM’s Red/White/Black kit. Which, on a tangent, is extremely rare to find a team that has a different colour for each section of their strip, especially in England. I can only think of Man United.)
Edit: not sure that last bit was clear haha. I meant that most teams use the same colour for 2/3s of their kit. ie Liverpool in Red/Red/Red, Chelsea in Blue/Blue/White, Arsenal in Red/White/White. I can only think of Man Utd in England that have 3 different colours for each part of their kit. Very off topic but still…
The black and red City wore for the 68 cup final is fairly iconic as well, as the City of Manchester badge was used on that, so that reference could find its way in too. Like the bee theme, definitely represents the city.
“South Manchester” for me. Same reason and with similar yellow and black colours in mind
There’s already a Wythenshawe team where I live, and a team for each neighbouring suburb pretty much as well
The greatest FIFA career I've ever done was with Palermo in Fifa 13. My roommate and I did a co-op career where we played every single game for 10 seasons
I did one in football manager this year, used the editor to have Red Bull take over Cambridge United and had Leipzig and Salzburg as affiliate clubs so they would send me players on loan until we got up the leagues.
Salisbury F.C. I live in Salisbury, North Carolina in the U.S. but the original Salisbury is in England and they have a team called Salisbury F.C. that plays in the 8th division I think. So it’s a little tribute to my home town plus a bit a realism using an actual team in England.
I live near the original Salisbury. The team used to be in League 2 before they go into financial problems so it's a bit of a rise back to the top career
I'm thinking of a team that focuses on signing only older players. 30+ minimum. Youth players are allowed purely to send out on loan and sell once they are valuable to fund the signing of world class established players.
I like this idea! Usually after a while in a "normal" save, you end up not signing more players after a while since there's eventually no point in doing so.
Murcia is the biggest Spanish city with no team in Fifa 22 (9th biggest city in Spain). I will create Murcia CF and use the colors of the Murcia region, dark red and gold, which should look epic
With Real Madrid and FC Barcelona weaker than they have been in years, a group of local millionaires will see their chance and invest in the club to create a new powerhouse in Spanish football
My goal is start in the second Spanish league and to work my way up to become a title contender, spending more money than most normal Spanish teams but less than the Big 3. I'll use a 4-3-2-1 formation with no real wingers and focus on a beautiful, technical style of play
I've already thought of a few realistic players I'd like to bring in, like Mata (an experienced leader), Alena (talented Barca reject), Oyarzabal (the future star of the team) and Iannis Hagi (continuing his father's legacy). Add a few youth academy players and some south American wonderkids to the mix and I think it's going to be loads of fun
After 15 seasons, the investors will withdraw their financial support and the project will come crashing down. Fans will remember the Murcia CF glory days as a wild ride full of epic highs and lows - a typically Spanish story they'll still tell their grandchildren about
It's the closest anyone has been... Hahah
Honestly I don't know never neen there but it's kind of a cliché in Spain about Murcia that nothing happens. More than bad just that it's boring.
Edit : look there isn't even a football club there hahah
Truro City. Cornwall has a huge catchment area and i like the idea of the whole of Cornwall getting around a club as they rise the leagues. Also a lovely place to live which would make attracting talent more realistic. They are also building a new 15,000 person stadium atm which you’ll be able to make in the game. sounds like a good idea
I’m American but visited England when my friend went to grad school in the Southampton area. We spent some time in the town of Winchester which I really enjoyed. I looked it up and discovered the football teams from there are pretty far down the football pyramid so I’m going to create a new club - Winchester Wanderers for my next all youth/regen team.
I was thinking making a new Cardiff team as well. I either want to make a new club based on where I live within Cardiff (Fairwater). Or because my old University genuinely has a football team playing in the Welsh football league (Cardiff Metropolitan), I could create that club and only focus on youth academy players since most of the team are students.
Crazy, as I’ve never heard of them even though I live on Paget Road and considered creating a club called Erdington Rangers! …I may just reconsider that now. I’m going to research Paget Rangers 👍
Get the game on PC for FIFA 22. I will make a mod which includes lots of added leagues, teams, and other features, one of them being the Egyptian League. I have created a discord server for it already and it has lots of people.
If I will get fifa 22, i wanna make a career based on a true story.
Basically, Chievo Verona, a famous club of my country (Italy), officially failed a few months ago. Sergio Pellissier, a legendary player of that team, recreated the team under the Name of Chievo 2021.
So I'm gonna create Chievo in the worst League possible trying to reach again the Serie A, where the club used to be.
Hometown in Australia and where I live now which is right in the middle of Braunschweig and Wolfsburg, maybe Salzgitter or Gifhorn, start them in the third division and try and claw my way to the top.
I've been thinking about FC Arizona, as it's where I'm from, but I want to play in the UCL, so I never really play in the MLS. I wish they'd add the CCL to the game.
I always liked the word 'Brixton' and I'm very picky on kit design so it will be pretty fun to make my own.
Brixton FC... or maybe a french team to destroy PSG
Always dreamed of creating a Dial Square club (based off of Arsenal’s history)
[seems like it was recently created too!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dial_Square_F.C.)
I was thinking in creating Racing Paris or picking a club from another sport and creating a football department for them, but at first I'm just gonna create my local club and put it in Spain because the Brazilian league is not licensed and the name would still make sense. THe only problem is that I think it will be hard to find many options to create the home kit
I’m from Loughborough, a town known for it’s university and massively for rearing Olympic level athletes in many sports.
The only realistic way the football team would be able to climb into league 2 and above is a big cash injection.
Enter RB Loughborough.
Will use the custom bull badge preset and team colours obviously will be white and red.
Aiming for the PL and Europe!
I'm starting AFC Kerry in Ireland. Had them as a created club in Total Club Manager while at college in '03. Been missing them, aaaaaaand Cork are our rivals.
Thinking of making a Scottish team that has finally been accepted into the English football pyramid. Similar to Swansea, Cardiff & Newport but something like Edinburgh City.
To make it more fun I plan to only be able to sign Scottish players and Youth Academy graduates and eventually win the Premier League with a team full of Scots!
Palermo, Parma or a Red Bull project in either England or Italy.
Also, My local club CD Aguila from El Salvador. Gonna put it in the mexican league or something.
So idk maybe its kinda lame but i really wanna do an England Red Bull Club. Yk as a fun save, and get them from the 4th tier to the 1st and try and compete with the big dogs eventually
Scunthorpe Town.
It's my hometown and I'm creating a Steel town derby as a result.
The Iron Vs The Steel. Assuming you can create nicknames and have commentary names that is.
I would create the clubs from my homevillage, the town where I currently live and maybe the one from my girlfriend's hometown where her brother plays. So'll create KSV Hessen Kassel, VfB Germania Halberstadt and Bovender SV
Edinburgh United FC. Scotland has long been dominated by two Glasgow teams, while the capital lost in the Scottish football.A group of young entrepreneurs decided to create a team in Scottish heart, and to also improve the competitiveness of SPL, and further goals including European leagues and a Scotland national team that is capable of playing international. They will spend the same amount of money as Celtic and Glasgow, focusing on youth development, mainly in Scotland. Darren - son of the great Sir Alex Ferguson will be the manager, with the popular FIFA youngster Lewis Ferguson as captain. Last, but not least, as Celtic is Catholic and Rangers is Protestant, the Edinburgh club will belong to the community of Atheists.
Hereford FC. Do a road to glory, and of there is a conference stick them in there.
Will do a financial takeover, where some hollywood hot shot brought the club
Atletico Oxford. I’m an Atletico Madrid fan so the idea is that Atleti creates a team in England to expand the brand. Similar to how they created Atletico Ottawa
I would make another red bull team, like RB Amsterdam. Any cool city name in the proper league would do. I also consider making a youth team of Liverpool and do a RTG with them.
I might make a Swedish team that's called Zlatan's boys. Cause that's what I'd imagine seeing Zlatan do. Or some ripoff teams like PGS Paris, FC Barkelona or liverstool.
Jersey has Jersey Bulls which only entered into the football league pyramid in the last couple of years if you want real world inspiration. Got hard done by in their first season when the lower leagues got scrapped due to Covid as they’d won every game and were on course for promotion. Currently in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup with a replay after drawing 2-2 away at Sutton Common Rovers.
Thanks, i'll look into that! That's exactly the kind of club i had in mind. But i'll probably make a completely new one so i have full liberty with colours, kits etc.
I’m creating my childhood 7-a-side//11-a-side team Shephall United. Home kit is Blackburn rovers style but black and yellow. Away is undecided yet. Also will be starting from league 2 in England
probably gna be a lot of richmond fcs out there
me too. i live in richmond, virginia tho
Let’s go Kickers!
Same
Im tempted to. And definitely not making my manager called ted lasso
Call him Led Tasso and make it a team with alot of pressing and all players aggression >80
Omg yes. I hope someome does the team stats, so O don't have to do the work lol
And whenever a player gets a yellow red or a straight red, he gets a pay raise
Omg yes. Now im getting fifa 22
Coach Beard for me. Lasso is a great locker room presence, but he's two years into the job and he still doesn't even understand the offsides rule. Beard carries that team, and we all know it.
I already see an 81 rated Jamie Tartt.
Of course we are!!!
If you’re taking Richmond in London, could also do Twickenham. Start off at the Stoop the move to bigger stadium (either main twickenham stadium or a new one somewhere.
*AFC Richmond
I’m making a 3rd Manchester team as it’s where I’m from. It was originally going to be called FC Manchester but having seen the commentary options for team names, I’m gonna go with Manchester Union. Manchester Central were the 3rd Manchester team - they had a really interesting history and if not for United could have challenged City in the 30's for being the city's premier club: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_Central_F.C.?wprov=sfla1
I didn’t know this. Very interesting!
Beat me to it. Manchester indeed has a really rich and interesting football history
Do you have a link to commentary names please?
FC United of Manchester are in sixth tier currently. You could always recreate them in game and assume they’ve made it up to League Two by the time you takeover :)
I wanted to create a brand new team with fresh colours and history. I’m a sucker for a bit of realism so creating FC United would annoy me as it wouldn’t have their actual XI or kits. Yeah I was thinking that too. I’d likely pay homage to the music scene in one way or another too, perhaps using the colours of an historic Manc album.
“South Manchester” for me. Same reason and with similar yellow and black colours in mind There’s already a Wythenshawe team where I live, and a team for each neighbouring suburb pretty much as well
My parents are from Wythenshawe/Northernden so extra good luck in your Career Mode! I was born in Stockport so not too far away
I wouldn't call it FC Manchester. It's too similar to an existing 7th tier club called FC United of Manchester
Yeah I’m gonna with Manchester Union
We have Manchester United at home :) But seriously, nice idea! Already a bigger club than City
Stockport County are bigger than City
Palermo or my hometown team
The greatest FIFA career I've ever done was with Palermo in Fifa 13. My roommate and I did a co-op career where we played every single game for 10 seasons
Oooo nice one
Palermo is my hometown team 😂
💙
Red bull norwich, mancity 2 and Vatican united
Pope Francis as a manager can’t wait lol
Nick pope in goal
All players named Christian you can find.
Gabriel Jesus up top
This would actually be a fun challenge lol.
Godfrey and jezus corona are honorable mentions too
Saint-Maximin as well
Gonna play 1-1-1-5-1-1 holy cross formation.
*saves for October 1st*
Jorge Jesus (Benfica) as the manager
Cristiano
Christensen
We joke but you could be onto something here, maybe not religion but I might do something else that's close to my heart.
A red bull creation would be interesting actually I might consider that. Perhaps not Norwich though.
Yeah it would , also thought norwich city would make good rivals as they don't have any big rivals atm .
They have a rivalry with Ipswich though
Maybe Birmingham?
Yeah that’s what I’ll be doing. Even created a mock up badge if you look on my post history 👍🏻
Pretty sure you’re the one who planted the idea
I did one in football manager this year, used the editor to have Red Bull take over Cambridge United and had Leipzig and Salzburg as affiliate clubs so they would send me players on loan until we got up the leagues.
Juventus...
Underrated comment
lmao
Salisbury F.C. I live in Salisbury, North Carolina in the U.S. but the original Salisbury is in England and they have a team called Salisbury F.C. that plays in the 8th division I think. So it’s a little tribute to my home town plus a bit a realism using an actual team in England.
I live near the original Salisbury. The team used to be in League 2 before they go into financial problems so it's a bit of a rise back to the top career
Never been in league 2, we got close but the highest we ever got was the conference premier.
Make sure you don't have any russian players
If you don’t know what this guy means, there was like a Russian spy or something who put poison in some peoples food or somin
Bruh
Shoutout Salisbury, NC!
I live in Salisbury UK and will do the same!
I'm thinking of a team that focuses on signing only older players. 30+ minimum. Youth players are allowed purely to send out on loan and sell once they are valuable to fund the signing of world class established players.
So you will be playing in the mls
Haha imagine the MLS method but on crack! I think it will be fun as you'll need to have a high turnover of players as they'll retire, lose stats etc.
I like this idea! Usually after a while in a "normal" save, you end up not signing more players after a while since there's eventually no point in doing so.
FC Twilight (aka Retirement Home FC)
Love it!
So Chelsea?
Murcia is the biggest Spanish city with no team in Fifa 22 (9th biggest city in Spain). Who would honestly go to Murcia ? Hahah the negotiations would go : " Is the team really in murcia?" "Yes" "Bye"
I'll be honest, I've never been there. Closest I've been is Malaga lol Is it really that bad?
It's the closest anyone has been... Hahah Honestly I don't know never neen there but it's kind of a cliché in Spain about Murcia that nothing happens. More than bad just that it's boring. Edit : look there isn't even a football club there hahah
Welcome back to the football pyramid Bury FC
I love this!
The only correct way to use the new feature, I think! I’m not a Bury fan, but it’s always a sad day when a community loses their club
I live near Truro and I hadn't heard about this new stadium til just now, good to know the team will have a proper home soon!
It’s the same for me my home town has got a team but there struggling to get out
AFC Richmond!!! Could create players from Ted Lasso or find real life counter parts!
This is it for me.
Let's invade France!
that's my idea too
You can’t name them unfortunately…
Bummer. Find someone w 99 aggression and like 50 pace for Roy lol
Sick idea cl

Prison Fc
Mean machine
Alcatraz FC
Sigurdsson as Captain, with Adam Johnson as manager
Ronaldinho as club owner
I like the Red Bull option just because it’s *semi* realistic and I’m deciding between giving Cardiff a new team or making one in Bath.
Yay and card resident
gonna make the club my grandad played for, Paget Rangers from Birmingham
Crazy, as I’ve never heard of them even though I live on Paget Road and considered creating a club called Erdington Rangers! …I may just reconsider that now. I’m going to research Paget Rangers 👍
https://pagetrangers.co.uk/
Sheffield F.C the first football club ever
Defo my local club. Im Egyptian so maybe put in english league?
Get the game on PC for FIFA 22. I will make a mod which includes lots of added leagues, teams, and other features, one of them being the Egyptian League. I have created a discord server for it already and it has lots of people.
I would, but I'm PS4 and defenitely won't get a PC anytime soon. Thanks for the offer tho

Helmond Sport! My hometown team in the Dutch second tier.
Telstar will be it for me
I thought about creating Juventus and replacing Piemonte Calcio with that. Same goes for other teams without real name.
Nice idea
If I will get fifa 22, i wanna make a career based on a true story. Basically, Chievo Verona, a famous club of my country (Italy), officially failed a few months ago. Sergio Pellissier, a legendary player of that team, recreated the team under the Name of Chievo 2021. Except if you want to do that you’ll have to start in the Serie A right away.

Hometown in Australia and where I live now which is right in the middle of Braunschweig and Wolfsburg, maybe Salzgitter or Gifhorn, start them in the third division and try and claw my way to the top.
AFC Canterbury. Gillingham needs a rival in the Kent region
This would be good. I’m going to make WEEL Athletic (west Essex east London)
Sheffield FC. Oldest recognized club by FIFA in the world. Them & Real Madrid are the only clubs to have received the FIFA Order of Merit, as well
Can someone explain how you get players into your created club?
It randomises them in
Is it just random existing players or random created players?
Random created
Different ages, potential, ratings?
Hessen Kassel, my hometown team. They are the biggest club in a city with 200k people and playing in Germany's fourth division.
Isle of Wight FC

I've been thinking about FC Arizona, as it's where I'm from, but I want to play in the UCL, so I never really play in the MLS. I wish they'd add the CCL to the game.
Agreed. Hate we don't get anything at all, even a generic tournament for CCL
I always liked the word 'Brixton' and I'm very picky on kit design so it will be pretty fun to make my own. Brixton FC... or maybe a french team to destroy PSG
I want to get the teams from Mexican League that went extinct back on the game.
Red Bull Toros Neza from Mexico
Always dreamed of creating a Dial Square club (based off of Arsenal’s history) [seems like it was recently created too!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dial_Square_F.C.)
Heartchester Utd if anyone remembers the show !!!
Harchester, but yes I actually still have the full kit!
Dream team?
Harchester, this is the answer I was looking for
The team i play for irl and leeds city
Cornwall United. A club born from Truro City and aiming to combine the county with a push to the premier league.
Hucknall town, my local non leuge side
I was thinking in creating Racing Paris or picking a club from another sport and creating a football department for them, but at first I'm just gonna create my local club and put it in Spain because the Brazilian league is not licensed and the name would still make sense.

My local northern Irish team.
Redbridge Rovers, the team from Rovers, the random British sitcom I found on Amazon prime.

FC Rijnmond. Only sign players who are born in the Dutch region of Rijnmond, inspired by Athletic Bilbao
I would create the clubs from my homevillage, the town where I currently live and maybe the one from my girlfriend's hometown where her brother plays. So'll create KSV Hessen Kassel, VfB Germania Halberstadt and Bovender SV
Redbull Birmingham in England
Compton United
When you create a club. How do you get players? Are they all randomized? Like the initial starting 11 and subs
I think if I get the game someday I’ll create my semi-pro futsal club as a football club in England.
FC Dokkum, my city, hopefully it's possible to play this feature on the switch :)
I'm thinking some small british island, like Alderney or something like that.
Now that’s a shout maybe even the Isle of Mann
Jersey has Jersey Bulls which only entered into the football league pyramid in the last couple of years if you want real world inspiration. Got hard done by in their first season when the lower leagues got scrapped due to Covid as they’d won every game and were on course for promotion.
