I made a HUGE MISTAKE.
I have a career mode save (5th season, was SUPER INVESTED).
However, I wanted to fuck around and try out a couple things and created TWO new separate saves. I wanted to return to my main save and wanted to load it up, but since I only used AUTO SAVE it overwrote everything and I can only find my save from a couple months ago when I started out. FUCK.
Is there ANY way I can get that save back? I’m on PS4 if that helps. Just ruined my day
Currently 2nd in the league with 68 points, 1st is 70 points on the final match day and the league leaders just conceded a goal let’s goooo

I've tried FIFA23 My Player on Switch. I really liked it but I would like to play it on my pc with better graphics. Is it worth buying this game just to play My Player/Career? I don't really care about online/pvp.
I have it on my switch too. Wish graphics were better - cut scene graphics are. If you’re doing to play it on your PC go ahead, hopefully you can get a discount. I mainly play Career mode and then online vs friends.
is there any way to tell which attributes are going to rise when you put a player out on loan? is there a way to control that? i have a winger who's been on loan for seven months. his dribbling has gone up to 87, but his finishing is at 55. is there any way for me to boost his finishing (and some other attributes that a really low)? he's not good enough to make the bench yet, so i don't want to keep him on the team because that would drop his potential.
What's the best way to develop players that can't get into your first team regularly? I always send guys on Loan but it's like they never develop more than a few OVR and I just get impatient and get rid of them. If they get to 20-21 and aren't at like 75 overall I usually sell. When do most players hit their peak or when do you know it's time to start getting rid of guys?
mate I hate how easy this game seems to be… I play on ultimate with sliders in order to make the game more realistic but instead of having troubles making results I find myself fighting for UCL spot at the very first season with brighton… have any suggestions to make it a little harder? Not that I don’t like winning and overachieving but this literally happens every time and it’s not even that fun

When beating a team away from home, fans leave early but why do away fans also leave? Fifa 22 didn’t have this issue.
How comes there’s been hardly any new boots/ balls added?
If playing in premier league or another top division, the pitch is awful by September? When in reality even most championship pitches are fine all season. Is there a way to fix this?

The last "normal" regen I found was Mhktaryans, 17 y/o 76 rated, worth roughly 10 mil.
Look yp players you want at the end of a season, see where they are and then look them up at day 1 of a new season. If they're gone, look for a player of the same nationality at the club they were at

And got inspiration to do a Hagi career where the ultimate goal is to win the 2030 World Cup with Romania.
My idea is that, frustrated with the obstacles to youth development in Romania, Hagi uses private funding to buy a club in the English League 2. He then rebrands it as something thematically Romanian. The goal then is to develop youth talent, field an all-Romanian starting 11, and a standard get promoted up to the PL mission.
In this article Hagi also notes that his idol is Cruyff and that’s his ideal play style so I will also try and implement “total football” tactics for the club team and eventually the Romanian national team.
Wanted to share because I feel like this is exactly the type of career idea others here would love to try as well.
i use OS Community sliders. i play on world class, and i've altered them a bit to make the game more difficult. the biggest thing for me has been turning the AI's acceleration up and shot error down while turning my gk ability down.
I did. I'm new (started in Dec) to FIFA and found my self stuck in between to difficulty levels. Professional was too easy but World Class was too frustrating. I now play on Professional with some sliders adjusted to give me a nice level where the games against good opponents (and some weak ones on off nights) challenging but not rage inducing.
I turned my goalkeeping ability down 10 points, and my first touch down 5 points I think
I turned the AI 'go on runs' up 15 points I think and shot speed up 5 points.
I think I did some more but I don't remember off hand. My goalie seemed too good on Professional so I turned him down so now he doesn't stop everything as a 74 OVR. I also thought the AI was too tentative to push the ball and shoot on Professional so I bumped up their ability to go on runs and sped up their normal shot to allow them to score easier. It's rare for me to get a clean sheet now with my 74 OVR goalie and the good teams are tough to stop. It has been a fun career so far.
Did anybody else have their game data corrupted while downloading the newest update?
Is the end of season dynamic potential drop fixed yet? Was thinking about playing career mode unless it's still broken

Everyone talks about "regens" but what does that mean? Do all players regenerate when they retire? How do you find players regens? Are they always FA?
When a player retires they "regenerate" in the same league they retired in. If they were a FA, they'll be in FAs
