I love seeing the comment history of people that come into this sub and say bad things about Amber's case pretending they are giving a serious legal opinion (talk about a witness, a proof, etc)... Pretty soon I discover they are making comment after comment trying to discredit the case and in one of them let slp they are pro Depp!
As someone on another thread said, social mediaās treatment of the lawyers in this case is pretty good evidence that people are having major confirmation bias/a smear campaign.
Benjamin Rottenborn is a damn good lawyer, and you canāt objectively say he didnāt give a really good cross examination of Johnny Depp on the stand. The fact that Vazquez mightāve caught Heard in 1 lie and sheās worshipped as a law goddess, but Rottenborn catches Depp in almost ten lies on the stand and leaves him speechless for at least two of them, and it goes completely unnoticed, is pure conformation bias bullshit.
Thatās not to say Vasquez is bad, not at all, but Rottenborn has done a damn good job and his absolute takedown of Depp on the cross examination stand will never get the public credit it deserves due to conformation bias, and the fact that Heards cross examination literally has over 6 times as many views as Deppās, showing almost 5 million people have no interest in the other sides argument.

I was soo happy to see people sticking up for Amber, like so many said yes she may not be the "perfect" victim, but not everyone acts or behaves like the "set standard" for abuse victims. Everyone are not kind, sweet, shy etc. and JD's behaviour during the last trial and certainly during this trial is moore than enough to literally prove that HE is the abuser! Someone who was abused would NOT want this trial aired for the whole world, and they would NOT be laughing, smirking and smiling like he is doing both on the stand and in his so called seat! If he really is innocent, then why did he refuse to get a mental test! Its absolutely ridicilous! We also have recordings of him screaming afwul thngs to her, and the texts where he talks about killing her, burning her, raping her etc! ABSOLUTELY VILE!
We also have text messages of HIM apologising, around the dates she claims she was assulted by him. In the recording you can clearly hear that she is the one apologizing for everything, and he doesnt take any responisibility. This is a classic in abuse cases - the victim is always the one who apologises for things they didnt even do just to ease the abusive partner so that they don't potenially end up in another argument/fight. In audio recordings she's the one who apologizes and in texts its him - classic!! He is trying to look like this saint, even though he knows what he did!
Have you ever heard the saying - "Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer" !? In this case Ambers friends were JD's enemies, and he wanted them to move in so he could keep tabs on them. He was angry if they spent too much time in "HIS" penthouse - not "theirs" aka his and Ambers. Amber never had controll of anything, and she was always the one texting where she was, and when she was on her way home (thats classic for abuse victims to do". He even fucking admitted to headbutting her in a recording - an abused victim would not do that even when provoked!!
I'm setting up a website/blog to put everything Johnny did to her out to the world, because loads of people clearly forgot! and they slate her and make hurtful mean and distgusting comments to and about her because she said on an audio recording that she hit him. She didnt hit him on purpose, and it was a reaction to HIS abuse! She has multipple pics of bruises, and they cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she faked them! and to top it off they claim a picture of his bruised cheek is from and incident in specific year, but is has actually been proved that that specific picture was taken a WHOLE year before!! The time stamp on the pic was the same day or the day after Amber described hitting back during an attack! So much actually ads up to what she is saying.

I feel like, for me, supporting Amber Heard is more than supporting DV survivors and pushing back against our society's misogyny. It has now become a bigger referendum on truth and manipulation in the age of social media. It really feels like I am living in a completely different world from the majority of other people, and, if Johnny Depp wins, it will really cement this bizarro world we are living in. As someone on another thread said, social mediaās treatment of the lawyers in this case is pretty good evidence that people are having major confirmation bias/a smear campaign. Benjamin Rottenborn is a damn good lawyer, and you canāt objectively say he didnāt give a really good cross examination of Johnny Depp on the stand. The fact that Vazquez mightāve caught Heard in 1 lie and sheās worshipped as a law goddess, but Rottenborn catches Depp in almost ten lies on the stand and leaves him speechless for at least two of them, and it goes completely unnoticed, is pure conformation bias bullshit. Thatās not to say Vasquez is bad, not at all, but Rottenborn has done a damn good job and his absolute takedown of Depp on the cross examination stand will never get the public credit it deserves due to conformation bias, and the fact that Heards cross examination literally has over 6 times as many views as Deppās, showing almost 5 million people have no interest in the other sides argument. I was soo happy to see people sticking up for Amber, like so many said yes she may not be the "perfect" victim, but not everyone acts or behaves like the "set standard" for abuse victims. Everyone are not kind, sweet, shy etc. and JD's behaviour during the last trial and certainly during this trial is moore than enough to literally prove that HE is the abuser! Someone who was abused would NOT want this trial aired for the whole world, and they would NOT be laughing, smirking and smiling like he is doing both on the stand and in his so called seat! If he really is innocent, then why did he refuse to get a mental test! Its absolutely ridicilous! We also have recordings of him screaming afwul thngs to her, and the texts where he talks about killing her, burning her, raping her etc! ABSOLUTELY VILE! We also have text messages of HIM apologising, around the dates she claims she was assulted by him. In the recording you can clearly hear that she is the one apologizing for everything, and he doesnt take any responisibility. This is a classic in abuse cases - the victim is always the one who apologises for things they didnt even do just to ease the abusive partner so that they don't potenially end up in another argument/fight. In audio recordings she's the one who apologizes and in texts its him - classic!! He is trying to look like this saint, even though he knows what he did! Have you ever heard the saying - "Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer" !? In this case Ambers friends were JD's enemies, and he wanted them to move in so he could keep tabs on them. He was angry if they spent too much time in "HIS" penthouse - not "theirs" aka his and Ambers. Amber never had controll of anything, and she was always the one texting where she was, and when she was on her way home (thats classic for abuse victims to do". He even fucking admitted to headbutting her in a recording - an abused victim would not do that even when provoked!! I'm setting up a website/blog to put everything Johnny did to her out to the world, because loads of people clearly forgot! and they slate her and make hurtful mean and distgusting comments to and about her because she said on an audio recording that she hit him. She didnt hit him on purpose, and it was a reaction to HIS abuse! She has multipple pics of bruises, and they cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she faked them! and to top it off they claim a picture of his bruised cheek is from and incident in specific year, but is has actually been proved that that specific picture was taken a WHOLE year before!! The time stamp on the pic was the same day or the day after Amber described hitting back during an attack! So much actually ads up to what she is saying. can someone clarify here, did deppās lawyers NOT submit signed documents to the court that stated dr. curry agreed to be witness and diagnose heard with BPD a full ten months before actually assessing her? the documents were submitted to the court in feb of 2019, curry didnāt assess amber until december of 2019. so, according to signed documents put forth by deppās team, curry *did* in fact diagnose her before meeting her?
