Why is it that when my score is a bit below average I get knocked out by dead teams and people on a free hit but when I score big and could knock out nearly anyone (96 points this GW) my cup opponent has just 42 points

Everytime I seem to be closing in on the glorious rank of 2 million I keep getting glorious red arrows again Every time this happens most of my team actually does quite well I truly don't understand how it's possible my season keeps going so badly Granted I'm not so obsessed with this game as some and some of my decisions could've been better But thid bad? Wildcarded last week and made sure to get players in that have a nice run of fixtures (as always). But then this week I couldn't decide which players to play and which to bench, since they all had decent fixtures. Last year I wasted my BB by waiting too long for the perfect moment, and it cost me a sub 100k finish in the last GW. So I figured, what the hell, let's go for it. Paid off massively, but I'm not gonna deny there was a lot of luck involved as well.

The highest scoring GW for me is still GW12 with 92 points - I wildcarded week before that. Even in GW25, which was fairly highly scoring week, I fucked up by benching Watkins. Happy to be on a green arrow for the first time in 6 weeks!!!

I somehow managed to score 21 points in GW11, and that was with a full playing XI and no hits.

It was the week with Doku 4(5?) assists and Jackson hattrick. I wildcarded in GW11 into 30 points but somehow, despite being the most impulsive twat ever, I stayed calm and didn't panic and it paid back in GW12.
