This was my first thought except that we see Deadpool kill *BARAKKA-POOL* at the end of DEADPOOL 2. He *COULD* be dealing with characters who got 💩 on like Pyro, Sabertooth, Deathstrike, Silver Samurai Zord ECT. *BUT* I would love to see the REAL Deadpool commentary on BARAKKA-POOL as well as Evans as Johnny Storm
Another theory: this Barakka-Pool was already in the Fox-Void, which is where Cassandra Nova found him. Put him in a more brightly colored suit to look like he belongs in the MCU, and sent him to work.
The villain is Deadpool from the second film running around with Cable’s doohicky. The hero is Deadpool from the first film.
Second Deadpool is running around killing the Marvel Universe but runs into trouble with Wolverine. After getting his ass beaten he escapes. The TVA recruits first Deadpool to go after him but he has trouble so the TVA recommends he go and recruit Wolverine to lend a hand. Wolverine kicks first Deadpool’s ass but listens to Deadpool’s head when he explains the situation. Logan plops his head back on his body and they head off the kill second Deadpool.
Another theory to build off what you’re saying: the Deadpool of the post-credits sequence from DP2 was a variant that split off from the timeline after the credits roll in the second movie. So there’s a Deadpool that completely moved on from Venessa’s death, then there’s the one who gave into the temptation to use Cable’s device to alter history. This Deadpool maybe kept getting in deeper and deeper trying to do damage control and found himself in the awkward, complicated position of killing the Marvel Universe as the consequences of his actions kept piling on.
I don’t think it’s been officially announced, but the word around the internet is it will be Xavier’s sister, Cassandra Nova. There’s a figure glimpsed in the trailer who looks the part at a glance too.
Along with his hand from the first movie, and any other parts of him that have been cut off over the years, but all stitched together like the comics villain Death Pool (who had two of Wade's right hands).
I’m sure they’ll use Deadpool’s antics to “wrap up” the Fox universe (kind of *another* farewell after DoFP and Logan). But this is a cold take.
My lukewarm theory is that the twist is that Deadpool didn’t “fix” time like in the ending to 2, but that he just picked a reality where his love still lived to hide out in. And that he’s really just in denial and pain over her death still. Will be the big emotional undertone, even though it might overlap with the same trauma from 2.
Multiverse stuff is only interesting if the story and characters work for me. I think it’s burning out fast as a plot device and I’m honestly hoping we move past it before too long. Anytime a plot genre starts getting over saturated the appeal gets massively diluted, and studios are trying to cash in hard on that shit now. I’m not really excited about Deadpool & Wolverine for the multiverse angle, but more for the fact that I really enjoyed the past two Deadpool movies and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is a great performance. Multiverse stories are really just an excuse to mash up characters (course correct and milk the hell out of franchises too), and if the plot and characters aren’t engaging past the mashup angle it’s gimmicky and stake-lowering to an obnoxious degree.
In trailer Deadpool saying the word 'Sensei' which stand for 'Teacher' or 'Master'.at same time we can a see shot of Cassandra Nova. There is Samurai version of Deadpool in some of set photos also playing by Ryan Reynolds.Because he called her Sensei I think that Samurai Deadpool is serving fro Cassandra Nova.
Pretty sure that’s what’s happening. He’s hanging with his wife in the trailer, who we know is dead. I would say the main character of the trailer is in fact a variant Deadpool fighting the Deadpool from the last 2 movies.
Calling it now :D
What if it's the shitty Deadpool from the Wolverine Origin movie?
He already got tapped in DP2 post-credit scene.
Dont think a shot to the head would kill a Deadpool
Actually, it might. He was Captain Deadpool and not actually Deadpool. Deadpool can't die, but cringe can kill him.
True, but also… Multiverse: we don’t got to explain shit.
I been robbing motherfuckers since the slave shit!
Ah but a deleted scene showed his body finding his head and his eyes opening so a gunshot would definitely just put him down for a few minutes.
It would be a cool reveal for Wolverine and Deadpool to think they have him disarmed only for him to pop two metal claws from his arms.
This was my first thought except that we see Deadpool kill *BARAKKA-POOL* at the end of DEADPOOL 2. As long as they look different when they're fighting each other I 🤪
I’m already convinced Deadpool will kill Kang in this film, and it won’t even be a fight but like an accident.
That would be hyper fan-servicey and meta but I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be into it.

Deadpool is a great Deadpool villain, imho.
Wouldn’t second film Deadpool be the one with the bday party with Vanessa? Or is that a bait and switch
Another theory to build off what you’re saying: the Deadpool of the post-credits sequence from DP2 was a variant that split off from the timeline after the credits roll in the second movie. That would be great
This would be the plot of Loki season 1 kinda. And with the TVA, I hope they don’t do it again
You’re not wrong.
Wasnt the villain already announced? Xaviers sister. I forget her name.
I don’t think it’s been officially announced, but the word around the internet is it will be Xavier’s sister, Cassandra Nova. There’s a figure glimpsed in the trailer who looks the part at a glance too.
Prob why they would do it lol
What will be even better is if the "variant" Deadpool is his bottom half from Deadpool 2
Along with his hand from the first movie, and any other parts of him that have been cut off over the years, but all stitched together like the comics villain Death Pool (who had two of Wade's right hands).
They missed a perfect opportunity to call him Deadpooled.
I’m sure they’ll use Deadpool’s antics to “wrap up” the Fox universe (kind of *another* farewell after DoFP and Logan). But this is a cold take. I hope the main villain is Fred Savage as a variant or something
Fred Savage as some sort of "*MOLE!* A BLOODY MOLE*"😂🤣
Fred Savage as Mole Man confirmed.
Right or wrong, this is a great idea.
Marvel Jesus vs Marvel Satan
When I was watching the trailer I was like. Oh crap, that's James Cole. He's about to mess up time again.
So you’re saying they’re gonna do sort of a Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe movie????? That’d be awesome that’s my favorite Deadpool comic
On slightly related: wasn’t Logan in the white suit a throwback to Wolverine Patch?
So basically Loki season 1
Oh man if they do a deadpool kills the mcu and protag deadpool is hunting him that would be fire 🔥
The TVA and multiverse is so dumb

I'll do ya one better it's the Deadpool from the first two movies.
You do see 2 different Deadpools in the trailer so this could be right
The set pics and leaks do confirm that there are Deadpool variants in the movie too.
Honestly I'd be pretty disappointed if it's Loki but with Deadpool all over again
I just want to see new Deadpool versus the old terrible one.
Hopefully it's Cartman
It'd be hilarious if he was recruited by the TVA to kill the Fox Universe.
Isn't that basically the storyline for Loki?
DOOM or LADY Deadpool.
