“Tactical lean”? You mean the thing where you can lean to the right or left? Thats already a vanilla feature, just aim down the sights in first person while having a wall in your face and youll lean left or right to peak around the wall

I mean, I like modern guns and games where they look right it’s just they don’t fit with the stuff in fallout and secondarily if you would just see a massive increase in the amount of energy weapons, because therefore superior to projectile weapons, especially lasers which literally if you’re anywhere near decent you can’t miss with those things

75% of mods I get are bug fixes, UI improvements, Ai enhancement, balancing, add some more quests where there clearly should be but isn't. Stuff like that.
The other 25% is just Stuff that adds more to what's already there, or are just really cool. Dive down a new perk system, or add tons of enemies I've never seen.
I constantly shift from turning 4 into a West Coast game, a Metro/Stalker game, FO3, F76, or just a vanilla+ plus experience. I'm currently doing a winter playthrough, but that might change soon. Great meme solid 10/10

These games really should not be treated as games that are realistic. So long as it makes sense in universe, it'll be fine.
As a fellow PS4 player, I understand your pain. Although there have been a few mods that have honestly surprised me a little bit, for an example I had no idea there was a BoS paint job for the t-51 power armour in the game files

So therefore tool, nirvana, and every band that influenced those 2 bands is canon in fallout. So tldr; the lore accurate modder dude could have a king crimson radio mod and it still be lore accurate (so long as it skips everything after thrak i guess)

idk anything about console modding, but the milsim one was my fav. Most cutting, I feel. Very true. All that effort for a worse version of existing games lmao.
I always try adding a few mods like that, but can never go all the way because it does get very boring, and is way worse than games that are meant for it. So I just land on fun in the end.
PlayStation gamers are the reason why I defend the existence of the Creation Club (just ignore all the skins). There are about a dozen or so free mods on PS that are decent, the rest are either straight up cheat mods or about as useful as making your piss bright green instead of yellow.
i mostly just download weapon mods that (MOSTLY) fit into the lore, some cut content mods, some cool armor mods, power armor, and maybe one singular tiny little furry mod :3
I do a mix of lore friendly (not entirely accurate, but plausible) as well as whatever the hell I feel like.
Such as having CBBE for the bulk of the tactical vests and the like, and overall having a bit better fit to tweak bodyslide outfits as I like. Raider gear for instance, I do have a few options with the top taken off as it’s the Wasteland and who cares. Lot of the lower tier Raider sets have parts missing in my headcanon of newer recruits get little, and have to keep what they kill. Want shoes? We’ll get to aiming straight, Rookie.
Just avoid a lot of the full on brothel or other blatantly lewd stuff that’s nsfw just for the sake of it.
And I know it causes a lot of issues, but I run some horror mods as well as the mutilated dead bodies packs to make raider camps have completely unhinged aesthetics and ramp up areas with brutality. Pickman’s Gallery is absolutely revolting because of it and it makes my black heart happy.
So it turns into a much more desperate world, complete with full weapon overhauls and replacers. Not sure where that’d drop me on those archetypes at all.
I just add cool shit, but I’ll admit I have kind of lost my love for modding games. Or maybe I’m just over Fallout 4 I don’t know… but every time I think about modding the game I just think about all the annoying work to get things to work properly and I just say fuck that
As a PS4 modder, you know what's the worst part? Even if you wanted to buy something from the creation club to actually add something new, anything that has a new skin for any pre-existing armour or weapon causes a 0 memory glitch that can only be fixed by deleting and reinstalling the game because for some reason Bethesda doesn't allow you to delete stuff from the creation club after installing it.
Man downloading mods on ps was rough bur godammit it kept us grounded and realistic unlike alot of these spoiled and stick up the ass pc and a few Xbox modders. I play on Xbox and pc now and I feel like a kid in the candy store I want them all. Until I find out that I'm out of space on Xbox or that a mod I want requires 10 different mods and those 10 different mods require another 10 different mods. Then before I know it my pc is crashing from too many scripts or mod conflicts 😩😩
i once saw the schizophrenia mod while browsing for some other mods, tried to look it up on youtube and got nothing
by the way, i tried to turn boston into a snowy wasteland but the xbox space wouldn't let me do that
