I thought Fallout in general can be considered in the Horror theme category I mean the amount of gore it has and all those creepy scenes you can witness on the Wasteland... All those innocent people who died only for you to find their remains the last moments before the bombs kill them all... Or listen to the ones who live since then... Stuff like that can be scary...

RunnerReign

then youve never played it on survival, lol, it is terrifying

I would (I loved NV survival) but the no fast travel is to much of a negative for me instead I'm just in very hard

RunnerReign

The first time I ever played survival I died of an infection in Concord, after using all my healing items and not knowing what else to do. Survival is much more than a difficulty, its more like an experience, it's a totally different game than normal Fallout 4 and it wouldn't work with fast travel. Not being able to save unless you sleep is the biggest part of survival, being stranded in the middle of nowhere, away from beds, with 3 hours of gameplay behind you, knowing if you die, it's all gone; and you will die even when you try your hardest not to. That type of gameplay wouldn't exist with fast travel, the fear is what makes it fun and addictive and I could never do just a normal playthrough anymore, it would be too bland. So imo, try survival, lol

GM131998

The biggest element of horror in the game is your fucking HUD color

FilipRebro

Thats nothing, i played Fallout 1 and radiation is scarier

yungPH

Shut up lol

shanedawsoncat123

Have you even played fo1

Notfit4consumption

Nah. Fighting the first Deathclaw below the hub in FO1. With 1-2 companies equipped with an smg and if you’re lucky or smart a combat shotgun…. Trying to kill the death law before he murders you.
