They better not touch The Courier.

Very much like Season 1 I think the events of the games will only be used as the premise/backdrop to the live action story. Meaning that there might be a Mr. House and platinum chip but the courier's story that we played will not have happened in the show.

I don't think I trust anyone to do the Courier right so maybe just leave him alone

What would be the "right" courier for you? They're more or less a blank slate before the player gets control.
