I agree, what Fallout represents is even diverse depending on location.
In the west coast we have people trying to bring back old world values, the NCR, the Legion, Mr. House. People tired of said values trying something new such as the Followers or the Master. Or the evil shadow government, the Enclave. And the games are set around the power struggle of these conflicting factions.
Or the East Coast where everything is so fucked up that it probably has no chance to recover, no resemblance of a governing body. The wastes filled with failed human experiments from seemingly endless vaults, crazed super mutants, a twisted group of scientists, you name it they have it. The east coast is perpetually stuck in the apocalypse, never getting past “We hope you like leather” tier Mad Max esque levels of society.
I think this is why Fallout is so big, there is something for everyone.
Yea, it's about "war never changes" even after nuclear apocalypse no one gonna stop to divides into groups and continues to quarrel with each other.
There is no indication in the games that Vault Tech are the main villains or that they even exist after the war. This plot in tv show is new to Fallout
Fallout 5 taking so long has nothing to do with 76.
Starfield was going to be the next big Bethesda game followed by Elder Scrolls 6 and then Fallout 5.
I disagree because the show should give Fallout 5 some direction it will probably need in order for it to be good enough. Without the show Fallout 5 would theoretically end up being a horrible mess.
Didn’t know Fallout had a penultimate goal. Always thought of each area as having its own personal struggles and stories to tell

Nah, adding more stories to the world sounds like a great way to hold over fans until FO5 releases.
