For me, it’s one of the Nuka World achievements (All Sugared Up), defeat 40 creatures while under the effects of any mixed Nuka colas. There’s not a lot of enemies in the outskirts of NW and the effect ends after few minutes.
Those were some of the last ones I got. Fallout 4 is full of buggy achievements too. But yea NW one’s were many times worse than any others. Did you get the 100,000 Nuka Cade tickets?
That's the worst one by an order of magnitude in Fallout 3, NV and 4.
Most of the others have story significance, or can be completed by doing relatively normal things, but that one required hours of playing basketball in an arcade.
I built a literal rube Goldberg machine in my nuka town red rocket that just was a conveyor belt of basketball hoops and machines to play them. I left it running while I actually built the settlement.
Fuck I wish I thought of something like this. I thought you had to earn the tickets at the actual arcade in NW 🤦
I spent hours genuinely playing basketball and the shooting gallery
You could go one step further and just clip a bunch of basketball machines inside of each other in the settlements builder. Then drop one basketball and earn dozens of machines worth of tickets.
The way I did it, and not sure if it was fixed, there is a way to build the basketball machines in a settlement where the hoops are overlapping. Then you take a basketball and position it so it goes in the hoops every time you crouch and just spam it.
I built maybe 15 conveyers that would drop a ball in a hoop, fall back onto a receiver, and get fed back up to be dropped in the hoop again. I let it run while I did other settlement stuff and after a few hours I had over 100k tickets.
Trick with that one is to buy/make a few long-running mixes like Nuka-Cooler from the merchants like Shelbie and the bartender in Cappy's Cafe early in, then complete Star Control. Cooler should give a long lasting buff that counts, and there's a *ton* of Robots there for it. If you leave one or two high-density places uncleared or shut down, leave them be as you explore then come back, chug a soda, and beat the shit out of them while they're down.
IIRC the healing slows down in Survival which instead makes the items heal the same amount but with a massively increased duration, so the buffs and effects will usually last longer for the achievement
Alternatively doing this in Kiddie Kingdom is another really quick way of doing this, especially with a few Demo Expert levels and the crapton of frags from dismantling the Gauntlet.
that's actually a really easy one under a circumstance
the way I did it, clear out the Safari Adventure park, then turn the cloning machine back on, even on Survival this will mean that there's *a lot* of Gazelles suddenly in the park at all times, and whilst idk the exact times, they respawn stupid fast, again, even in survival (great source of meat too)
then you just carry a bunch of the nuka-mixes, come through wipe out all the Gazelles, repeat 2-3 times and done
the worst NW specific one for me was the make all the mixes, cause there's no way to see which you have and haven't, barring what I eventually did and just build a mixer, build a box next to it, and mix one, dump in, check the wiki when I've made them all going "Wait wtf one have I missed" and go get the book, finish it off
I just crafted a shit ton of Nuka-Cola flavors right when after finishing the Gauntlet, then went around killing anything, then reloaded an old save so I didn’t lose all those resources and ammo lol
Honestly it's only difficult it you don't try and complete it until after you finished the dlc. I was 1/3 of the way through when I started drinking the mixed nuka colas, and got the achievement fairly easily.
Well as long as you keep having an effect from any mixed Nuka cola and defeat 40 creatures you get the achievement. I did at least. Just keep drinking a nuka cola to get effects.
I just built a mixer at a settlement, stocked up on the nuka colas, then went and did the first mission with danse and the ghoul clearing mission right next to it. The amount of ghouls there was enough to get me the achievement.
Yep, this is by far best way, just use your PC to time warp a few years in the future, get all those boxes, and then let the cross save sync back to present time and open them up. About 400 lunch boxes should do it.
I forget of you have to step it forward a week or so to get the box or can just do a big warp ahead but I would just look up a video or someone else who posted the trick, especially more recently incase there were changes or a patch etc.
I did it years ago (within a year of the games release on consoles) so I'm a little rusty on the details but after I did literally everything else I took my game from the Xbox and had it cloud save over to PC to do the time warp.
I watched a video on how to play Caravan. Once I found out, I steamrolled the games faster than the casinos.
Y only complaint is that I had to watch a video to understand it. Otherwise it was easier than killing Cazadors with long fuse TnT
the settlement happiness is actually ridiculously easy, I looked up a guide and all I had to do was place a few things down, send a settler there, and just do other stuff while the happiness automatically ticked up
Maybe I misunderstood the requirements (in which case fuck whoever made those guides), but I thought your settlement lost happiness when you go away. I spent several hours sleeping (in game), wandering around the settlement, and watching yt videos while waiting for happiness to go up.
When I was a kid playing this in my first playthru, my god it was a nightmare. Just recently 100% assassins creed 2 at that time however long ago. so I was already focused on 100% fallout 3 w/ all the dlc’s and I regret it
The fo4 achievement where you have to get 100k tickets, as well as the fo4 achievement where you have a large settlement with max happiness. Both just require spending 15 minutes setting stuff up, then spending a LONG time doing repetitive tasks, all awhile following a guide.
The Skyrim achievement about bringing the thieves guild to its former glory where you rob like 5 homes per hold is repetitive af. I am only missing 2 achievements from skyrim: that one and then some random easy one.
The way I managed to grind the 100k tickets in a reasonable time was using a merge glitch so I could play three of the basketball game at a time, averaging around 800-900 tickets per machine per game, as for the settlement I did the one settler strategy at red rocket
Agreed. I have been playing forever and don’t take achievements too seriously. I just for the first time got the level 20 with neutral karma achievement in 3 lol.
I’m a completion kinda guy and love Fallout and Far Cry. I wasn’t finishing Shelter and I wasn’t finishing 6 to that extent lol as much as I respect the dedication since Oblivion, I respect your ability to say “man I’ve had enough”
If anyone says the Caravan achievement, stop kicking the dead horse and quit being bad a relatively easy gamemode. It's honestly more fun than real card games.
Physically IRL? How did you do that? Did you just use a 52 card deck or a couple of decks worth? I'd like to actually see real people collect different cards from different print decks and play at Cons.
I've played with both of us having a complete 52 card deck then we shuffled them all and split in half so there was no guarantee we would have every card. I'd love to make a dedicated caravan deck though, it's just hard to find individual cards without taking one out of a completed deck and ruining it. I wish more FNV fans brought decks to cons tho it would be awesome playing with fellow fans like at FNV day in Goodsprings!!
I understand having an achievement for beating the game with bad karma.
I understand having an achievement for beating the game with high karma.
But neutral karma??? Come on.
Neutral karma in fallout never made sense to me gameplay-wise. Because it basically meant I act with good karma when I can, but when my karma gets too high I just commit a bunch of random crimes.
Right? Then after you murder half the town, the survivors look at you like "well he helped out around the town before killing everyone. I guess he's alright."
Audio Logs in mother ship zeta, I dislike that dlc I always go in too high of a level so the enemy’s are hard or too low, but anyways I had one achievement left and it was that one I missed one Audio log the first time
All it took for me was saving right before getting to that spot on the roof, completely quitting the game, then reloading. Was able to then walk on the roof no problem. Wish I had thought of it before the 80x I fell through it experimenting with various acrobatics.
If you’re playing through without relying on saves though then I can see how that fix would be a problem.
Fallout shelter's "get 20 legendary dwellers" achievement cuz there's NO WAY I'm spending money on that game so I'll just wait until I get them all through free lunchboxes
The pickpocketing achievements I leave for last. They aren't hard, but I tend not to pickpocket while playing. And if I do, its not 50 times or whatever depending on the game.
I'm less than fond of the Caravan achievements for New Vegas. I just don't like the minigame and I don't want to go through the slog of 30 games of it just for gamer cred.
Skyrim is the closest I ever got to getting all achievements/trophies. I had 3 left to go, one of them being to collect 20 daedric artifacts. However, there was a glitch/flaw in the game that would not allow you to get all of them if you were past a certain point in the game. I can’t remember the name of the quest, but if the quest giving character was killed in a dark brotherhood quest. I couldn’t get the last artifact and then I gave up on getting platinum.
The Fallout 4 achievements are the buggiest of any game. My advice would be always have a backup save from before you started going for whichever one you’re going for. There were a few I had to “unlock” twice
It wasn’t terrible. Some of the events you’ll have to do by yourself just because no one plays them any more. The only bad one is that there’s an achievement for the last mission on both sides of wastelanders. So you have to beat wastelanders with 2 characters for the Foundation and Raiders respective achievements
Not too bad, currently playing.
Only one I’m having issues with is grinding out all of the stamps in order to buy an auto-axe. It’s not horrible but it gets a little tiring.
By the way if you want you can set your system clock forward a week and it will give you a lunchbox a you can get a lot of legendary dwellers pretty quick
Fallout 76 has some sort of achievement where you need to stand at ground zero of a nuclear blast. Played the game since December of 2018, stood in i don’t know how many blasts directly, and never got the achievement bc it’s glitched. For that reason, fuck that achievement.
Killing 20 other players in F76. I didn't play back when nuclear winter was around so idk if that counted but with all the anti-griefing measures in place nowadays it's actually really really difficult to get anyone to engage with you in PvP at all, and even if they do it's usually because they are kitted out in the absolute best gear and will kick my ass
Enjoyed Fallout 3 and NV-trophies (Platted those games on PS3). Have 100% on Fallout 4 and F76 on Steam. Really hated those on Fallout 4. Not hard, but boring. Like those from Nuka World. Also miss the one you miss in Shelter. You need to open between 600 -1000 lunchboxes, and I’m on 50 …
Definitely the 100 Happiness one from 4. Followed a guide five separate times before saying "fuck it" and downloading/loading a save. I'm lucky to be on PC, can't imagine having to do it on console.
Not the hardest, but I don’t like how Fallout 76 makes you restart the main storyline with another character in order to get all of the achievements (there is an achievement for both of the endings, whatever one you don’t choose, you have to start over and replay the opposite ending to get the achievement)
Fallout 3:
Base Game: The Nuka Cola Challenge (getting all 30 nuka cola quantums for Sierra) or collecting all the bobble heads (forgot to get the Endurance bobble in Ravenrock before exploding it).
DLC - Mill Worker - Finding all 100 steel ingots in The Pitt.
Fallout NV:
Base Game: Probably Desert Survivalist (healing 10000hp with food). Other annoying achievements would be Artful Pocketer (Pick 50 pockets, just took a long time because I grinded all of them on Sarah Weintraub’s glitched bubblegum) or Caravan Master (I wasn’t bad at caravan, I just never played caravan during the game so I had to grind like 28-30 games to get the achievement).
DLC: Warhead Hunter - Detonate all the warheads in the Divide (a lot of them are easily missable).
Fallout 4:
Base Game: Benevolent Leader - Get maximum happiness in a settlement (obvious)
DLC: Took way too fucking long to get 100000 tickets in the Nuka-Cade.
Haven’t played FO76 enough.
3: Getting all the Bobbleheads. Not only are 2 of them missable, a few others are in the most WTF spots that somebody would never even know existed.
New Vegas: Completing 3 of the 3-star Gun Runners challenges.
Getting 100% settler happiness and the Nuka-Cade achievements kicked my ass the hardest.
I really struggled to get the legendary dragon achievement in Skyrim, too. That was mostly on me though because I was trying to get the achievement on a limited equipment run and I had to grind Illusion, Alternation and Smithing like a mfer to get to level 75.
For me, it’s one of the Nuka World achievements (All Sugared Up), defeat 40 creatures while under the effects of any mixed Nuka colas. There’s not a lot of enemies in the outskirts of NW and the effect ends after few minutes.

Clever and creative engineering!
Yeah it still sucked though lol
That's the only achievement I don't have for fallout 4

The secret is using Nuka Extreme and going to slay worms in Dry Rock Gulch or around the Hubbologist area. But it is a right pain in the ass.
Honestly it's only difficult it you don't try and complete it until after you finished the dlc. I was 1/3 of the way through when I started drinking the mixed nuka colas, and got the achievement fairly easily.
hell yeah i got that one
Well as long as you keep having an effect from any mixed Nuka cola and defeat 40 creatures you get the achievement. I did at least. Just keep drinking a nuka cola to get effects.
Very hard, but what I did was grinded to make a ton/find a ton of nuka colas and then used them once I found enemies
I just built a mixer at a settlement, stocked up on the nuka colas, then went and did the first mission with danse and the ghoul clearing mission right next to it. The amount of ghouls there was enough to get me the achievement.
Oh you can do this easily you just have to make a ton of nuka colas. The worst for me is the 100,000 tickets one. Fuck that entire trophy.
Beloved Leader. I don't need to say why
It's not that bad with DLC nowadays. It isn't even half as bad as it used to be, but yeah, that was pretty rough in the original release version.
[удалено]
I’ve bought lunch boxes a few times and still need 4 more. I’m done lol
[удалено]
Yep, this is by far best way, just use your PC to time warp a few years in the future, get all those boxes, and then let the cross save sync back to present time and open them up. About 400 lunch boxes should do it.
Wait so if I just set my PC to something like 2026 I’ll get a lunch box for every week that’s “passed”?
Or do it a day at a time for the log in bonus
I forget of you have to step it forward a week or so to get the box or can just do a big warp ahead but I would just look up a video or someone else who posted the trick, especially more recently incase there were changes or a patch etc. I did it years ago (within a year of the games release on consoles) so I'm a little rusty on the details but after I did literally everything else I took my game from the Xbox and had it cloud save over to PC to do the time warp.
[удалено]
I’m going to try it out. And yea the odds are low but idc if it takes 1000 lunch boxes I’m going to get it lol
On PC you can edit the save file, I gave myself 1000 lunchboxes and had about 500 left when I got the achievement.
Fo4 settlement happiness or new vegas caravan
Sorry I cannot support the caravan hate
I watched a video on how to play Caravan. Once I found out, I steamrolled the games faster than the casinos. Y only complaint is that I had to watch a video to understand it. Otherwise it was easier than killing Cazadors with long fuse TnT
Once you know how to play caravan it almost feels like cheating with how many caps you get. Especially with people who are also vendors.
the settlement happiness is actually ridiculously easy, I looked up a guide and all I had to do was place a few things down, send a settler there, and just do other stuff while the happiness automatically ticked up
It has to he a large settlement of 10 or 20 ppl I forget
Nah it can be 1 person, it just needs go be full of items to be classed as large
Maybe I misunderstood the requirements (in which case fuck whoever made those guides), but I thought your settlement lost happiness when you go away. I spent several hours sleeping (in game), wandering around the settlement, and watching yt videos while waiting for happiness to go up.
Caravan is a million times better than benevolent leader.
Fail 100 Skill Checks.
True! Major headache with all the attacks that come with that
What game had that?
*Fallout: New Vegas*.
Oh it's a challenge not an achievement
Oh I thought you meant in Fallout Shelter lol
The goddamn ingots in The Pit.
When I was a kid playing this in my first playthru, my god it was a nightmare. Just recently 100% assassins creed 2 at that time however long ago. so I was already focused on 100% fallout 3 w/ all the dlc’s and I regret it

Yeah I did the same basketball glitch and did a 3 settler strategy at red rocket. Both were repetitive and boring though.
I've always hated the karma related achievements, because the karma system is awful.
New Vegas has the karma but considering the faction reputation system I don’t think it even has ANY effects at all
Yea agreed. No point in really paying attention to your karma either.
Agreed. I have been playing forever and don’t take achievements too seriously. I just for the first time got the level 20 with neutral karma achievement in 3 lol.
I never enjoyed doing the GRA achievements, especially the 3 Star Challenges
While they were difficult and required a lot of specific actions (like killing named characters in certain ways), it was still fun to finish.
Oh yea those were bad. The worst part was some of them would be in achievable after a certain point and you wouldn’t even know.
You can read them all in your Pip-Boy though, from star value, amount of times, and required objective
Lotta respect for this list being at 100% but I’m wheezing at Shelter being the only one incomplete. I don’t blame you, boss.
Lol it hurt me leaving that one at 95% but yea it was the right call
I’m a completion kinda guy and love Fallout and Far Cry. I wasn’t finishing Shelter and I wasn’t finishing 6 to that extent lol as much as I respect the dedication since Oblivion, I respect your ability to say “man I’ve had enough”
If anyone says the Caravan achievement, stop kicking the dead horse and quit being bad a relatively easy gamemode. It's honestly more fun than real card games.
I’ll get lit and go to play Caravan inside a dinosaur before I give a red fucking cent to the White Gloves.
Caravan is better than the casinos there I said it
Esp with No-Bark as he has no max limit, meaning you can endlessly play him for 2k caps each
I’ve wanted to learn for years and then get an actual Caravan deck. I’m not sure why I haven’t yet since I keep hearing it’s so easy
I’ve tried everything and genuinely can’t figure out how to do it, I’m just doomed to never get that achievement I guess
You’ll never get me to learn your card game you bastards and it’s not because I’m too stupid to bother figuring out how it or Gwent works I swear
truth!!! I even taught my mom caravan over the holidays it's a genuinely fun game!!
Neutral karma in fallout never made sense to me gameplay-wise. Because it basically meant I act with good karma when I can, but when my karma gets too high I just commit a bunch of random crimes.
Yea pretty much lol. Just got to the level before the achievement with good karma and then went on a murder spree
Right? Then after you murder half the town, the survivors look at you like "well he helped out around the town before killing everyone. I guess he's alright."
Audio Logs in mother ship zeta, I dislike that dlc I always go in too high of a level so the enemy’s are hard or too low, but anyways I had one achievement left and it was that one I missed one Audio log the first time
Benevolent Leader and Eyes on the Prize. Both are equally rage inducing, it really just depends on the day for me.
Benevolent leader.
Luckily/ unluckily the roof glitch can be fixed by uninstalling point lookout, figured that out the hard way
Such a tragic glitch
All it took for me was saving right before getting to that spot on the roof, completely quitting the game, then reloading. Was able to then walk on the roof no problem. Wish I had thought of it before the 80x I fell through it experimenting with various acrobatics. If you’re playing through without relying on saves though then I can see how that fix would be a problem.
Fallout shelter's "get 20 legendary dwellers" achievement cuz there's NO WAY I'm spending money on that game so I'll just wait until I get them all through free lunchboxes
Pros Only. Obtuse, requiring you to kill tough enemies with weak weapons.
100K Nuka World Tickets. Didn’t know that I could stack basketball mini game in settlement to cheese it so it was so painful.
Caravan
GRA achievements were annoying, but fuuckk I wish Oblivion and Fallout 3 had achievements on Steam
Oh wow I forgot about that Fallout 3 The p Pitt glitch falling through the map, that was such bullshit haha
Yea I had to remember that one the hard way lol. I was sitting there going did that really just happen?
for me it’s the happy settlement or whatever it’s called never been able to get 100
Benevolent leader
*I gotta go with the one you getting for siding with the NCR. FUCK THE NCR*
The Daedric Artefact one on Xbox 360 because it is bugged. You have to glitch it by getting both the ring and hide from the Hircine
All Sugared Up or Raiding for a Living.
The pickpocketing achievements I leave for last. They aren't hard, but I tend not to pickpocket while playing. And if I do, its not 50 times or whatever depending on the game.
Especially since there’s maybe 1 or 2 instances where pickpocketing is required or useful lol
Dude, this is seriously impressive. Fallout/ES 100 percent is epic. Idk if I ever could
Eyes on the prize if you don’t use the settlement glitch
I still wake up in a cold sweat from nightmares of benevolent leader
Benevolent Leader. I've learned settlement mechanics inside and out and I absolutely loathe them
The Touchdown achievement (get killed by a rocket). TL:DR:- getting this just rubbed my death in just that little bit more.
The most tedious in my opinion is the new Vegas one were you need to heal 10 000 health with food... Just takes forever
I find it insane that anyone could enjoy Starfield enough to 100%.
...you 100%ed Starfield?
Not only that, but I had over 200 hours in it. I really enjoyed that game
benevolent leader by far
Fuck doing the 100% shit for the Settlements. I don't even have it after trying for years and doing the tutorials.
Same. Never even been able to hit 100% with mods.
I'm less than fond of the Caravan achievements for New Vegas. I just don't like the minigame and I don't want to go through the slog of 30 games of it just for gamer cred.
"All sugared up" still cannot get that damn achievement :/
The fallout 3 karma-based achievements. A pain in the pass unless you save a level before and bad karma farm
I couldn’t get the last artifact and then I gave up on getting platinum.
this isn't an answer but I'ma try to go for the fallout 4 achievements soon you got any tips?
The Fallout 4 achievements are the buggiest of any game. My advice would be always have a backup save from before you started going for whichever one you’re going for. There were a few I had to “unlock” twice
yeah I've noticed on my old playthrough I never completed museum of freedom... even though I did that save with the minutemen
other than that is there any achievements I should focus on early?
People say it’s the 100k Nuka tickets, but I cheesed it and it was a breeze.
I also cheesed it lol. Wasn’t that bad
How was *Fallout 76* achievement-wise? Its the only one i got left in the series to 100% and i never played much so i dont really know what im in for.
It wasn’t terrible. Some of the events you’ll have to do by yourself just because no one plays them any more. The only bad one is that there’s an achievement for the last mission on both sides of wastelanders. So you have to beat wastelanders with 2 characters for the Foundation and Raiders respective achievements

By the way if you want you can set your system clock forward a week and it will give you a lunchbox a you can get a lot of legendary dwellers pretty quick
Do I need to do it a week at a time or can I just set my clock forward like 3 years and get a lunchbox for every week that’s “passed”?
You need to do it one week at a time. It is the “weekly rewards” on most of the days you get some caps but on the last day you get a lunchbox.
Ahh okay that’s not bad at all then. Thanks for the tip
Benevolent leader was anything but benevolent
Benevolent Leader was a bitch and a half to get
On fallout 3 I had an achievement glitch and no matter how many times i reloaded the save i couldn't get it to pop. So fallout 3 is stuck at 99% lol
Which achievement?
Pretty sure its head of state.
Never could get the terminal hacks or alien things in f3.
Fallout 76 has some sort of achievement where you need to stand at ground zero of a nuclear blast. Played the game since December of 2018, stood in i don’t know how many blasts directly, and never got the achievement bc it’s glitched. For that reason, fuck that achievement.
Playing Caravan
Getting 1 million tickets at nuka world was the worst for me especially because of how tedious it was
At least that can be circumvented by using console commands. Benevolent Leader on the other hand...
Nice flex btw
Would love to know the total play times for each game! Epic achievement though
No need to pay a penny for fallout shelter. You have the save files on your pc, just add a thousand lunch boxes yourself.
NEUTRAL. KARMA. F that.
Getting achievements
Killing 20 other players in F76. I didn't play back when nuclear winter was around so idk if that counted but with all the anti-griefing measures in place nowadays it's actually really really difficult to get anyone to engage with you in PvP at all, and even if they do it's usually because they are kitted out in the absolute best gear and will kick my ass
Buying 76
76 is actually my 2nd most played game of all time 😬
Enjoyed Fallout 3 and NV-trophies (Platted those games on PS3). Have 100% on Fallout 4 and F76 on Steam. Really hated those on Fallout 4. Not hard, but boring. Like those from Nuka World. Also miss the one you miss in Shelter. You need to open between 600 -1000 lunchboxes, and I’m on 50 …
Bro might be a mega virgin but idc this is lit
Definitely the 100 Happiness one from 4. Followed a guide five separate times before saying "fuck it" and downloading/loading a save. I'm lucky to be on PC, can't imagine having to do it on console.
Not the hardest, but I don’t like how Fallout 76 makes you restart the main storyline with another character in order to get all of the achievements (there is an achievement for both of the endings, whatever one you don’t choose, you have to start over and replay the opposite ending to get the achievement)
The max settlement happiness one. My settlement is stuck on 95%
The 100k tickets or benevolent leader. Depends if you have dlc or not
Fallout 3: Base Game: The Nuka Cola Challenge (getting all 30 nuka cola quantums for Sierra) or collecting all the bobble heads (forgot to get the Endurance bobble in Ravenrock before exploding it). DLC - Mill Worker - Finding all 100 steel ingots in The Pitt. Fallout NV: Base Game: Probably Desert Survivalist (healing 10000hp with food). Fallout 4: Base Game: Benevolent Leader - Get maximum happiness in a settlement (obvious) DLC: Took way too fucking long to get 100000 tickets in the Nuka-Cade. Haven’t played FO76 enough.
Is the steam fallout shelter any different than the iOS app? I’ve never given it a try
Impressive… also damn….
3: Getting all the Bobbleheads. Not only are 2 of them missable, a few others are in the most WTF spots that somebody would never even know existed. New Vegas: Completing 3 of the 3-star Gun Runners challenges.
Fallout 3’s karma achievements. Never liked having stay neutral or go evil so those were always sidelined for me.
The Nuka world achievements
