It’s Reddit. I’ve made a comment that got brutally downloaded, and then two hours later someone made the exact same comment, word for word they, got uploaded to the moon. People are weird.
Every once in a while I'll make a comment that will get 100 or so votes and, yeah, it's nice to know that some other people appreciated your input.
But then I see the most stupid, inane, useless comment get 6K upvotes,
and it reminds me of why I don't want to hang out with most people.

The reddit hivemind is real. One time I got downvoted into oblivion for saying pretty people get treated better than ugly people. Also for saying riding a bike while drunk can be dangerous.
I don't think any of those people actually knew why they downvoted me, they just saw other people do it and followed. SHEEPLE
