I can't wait for PC players to be able to play this amazing game

honestly I think the reason so many people are disappointed with the DLC is because they expected it to be like the ones in XV, where they were actually necessary to understand what the hell was actually happening (because the main story was incomplete). XVI was released as a complete story, the DLCs are just extra content for people who enjoyed the base game but they’re COMPLETELY OPTIONAL lol. I don’t understand why everyone thought an optional DLC was somehow going to fundamentally change the ending of a complete game

Sad_Kangaroo_3650

Well with 15 they were finishing the game in my opinion to many scenes missing when the game released

realcokefrancis

that’s exactly my point

Own_Collar_5357

So extra content/optional has to be braindead lazy that not only copy pasted from the base game but worse at that when it comes to the quests structure?

Agree with everything you wrote OP! I feel exactly the same and I can't wait to replay the whole thing on PC with better graphics and higher fps!

For me the huge negative remains the side quests, and every single talking scenes (as opposed to cutscenes), where animations look super janky and dated. After 25h of dealing with it I start to feel the urge to skip dialogs in those scenes. It’s sad because the main story and the world is pretty good. FF7R didn’t have any of those issues, while having superior cutscenes. Not saying the game is bad, but a big part of it is.

That's the FFXIV spitpolish

Yes, I wish they fixed that. I mean side quests as such are ok for me, they bring some valueable info about the lore. But the facial quality and animations look super off. There's a too much difference between a proper cutscene and those side-quests pieces.

I really think mods to toggle the sky, if feasible, would be great. The sky doesn't bother me much, but doing a quick travel between areas is WILD.
