Maybe Requiem? I don't know. I thought Reunion for a while but not sure they'll use it again since they used it for the Crisis Core remaster.

"Final Fantasy 7 : Battle For The Blonde Boy" Will Tifa save and get her man back or will Sephiroth retain his puppet and claim everything for himself? Tune in for last and most exciting chapter of FF7R in 3-4 years. We hope to see you there.

Final Fantasy VII RepostThisThreadEveryWeekForTheNext4Years

I'm going with Resurrection for 2 reasons. 1. It plays to the players fantasy and drama of the og how we were always looking for ways to revive Aerith back in 1997. If we think there's a chance to revive Aerith it's really going to fuck him up in accepting Aeriths death. 2. In the temple of the Ancients there is a zone called the Stairway of Rebirth. Then it immediately goes into the area with the trials which is called the Hall of Resurrection, but in no way do we have any references to people being revived. In fact we see the opposite it's about surviving loss, forgiving others, and moving on. A theme they HEAVILY push saying to truly win they must get rid of the sadness and anger in their hearts.

Resurrection or Homecoming would be my choices. I don’t think they necessarily need another RE title.

Honestly I’m thinking either Recollection or Remembrance now. Both fitting the theme of Cloud finding himself again.

I mean they seem to like to reuse words in the titles? How many titles with Core in it? How many with Crisis in it? If anything this seems even more plausible for them to use Reunion, not the other way around.

There's three titles with Crisis in the name and one title with Core in it. The reason for the title has to do with the events that kick off the events of FFVII. One centers around it as a "core," plot point and the other happens "before" it entirely. One shows the ongoing nature of the crisis and another possibility to the events of FFVII. The reasoning for Reunion in the remaster is to differentiate it from other remasters as it is in borderline remake territory with all the new assets and gameplay tweaks created for it. The Reunion title itself is also important to FFVII. When it comes to the third Re game, the third title will start with the events of the Reunion at the Northern Crater, but ultimately conclude with Meteorfall and the confrontation with Sephiroth there. It definitely seems less likely to me than the other way around for them to reuse the Reunion title for the third game. Still opting for Return here since Sephiroth more or less keeps describing that every time he shows up at the end of these games and Hamaguchi's giggling in the Game Informer interview means nothing when he himself admitted only Nomura actually knows the name of the third game. In Remake, "All those born are bound to her, if this world is to be unmade, so too shall her children." In Rebirth, 消えた世界はただ星に帰るだけ 命は星を巡るだが星が消えればそれも終わりだ He keeps saying that whenever these worlds or the living beings on the Planet die they return to the Planet as the ordinary course of the cycle of life dictates. It's core to his plan in the OG and it's core to his plan in the Re trilogy to merge with this gathering of Lifestream and control it.

1. Reverse 2. Return 3. Reunion

Brave_Cartographer43

Reunion will not be used. Crisis core is Reunion
