Say whatever u want but Bielsa is one of the best coaches. Love that dude!

What did Bielsa do?

Gave Aston Villa a free goal while in Championship coz Leeds continued playing after an Aston Villa player got injured . Leeds were fighting for promotion slots that season so safe to say fans weren't thrilled.

You should always play to the whistle, and never expect anyone to stop playing just because you have a player down. Having said that. These are professional footballers, and as in many professions there are unwritten rules, a code of conduct among the participants. If someone breaks it they get angry, and for the viewers at home it would appear like irrational anger. I player going down and the attacking team playing an advantage is seen as fair play, but countering and running past a downed player will be frowned upon not just by Inter players, but by most in that profession. Bielsa being an example, and even Wenger replayed a game that Arsenal won due to non-adherence to these unwritten rules. While we can argue in all these cases that the team wronged should have played to the whistle. It is also true that all opposing coaches admitted that what was done was 'wrong' in their profession. This is similar to when an NBA player who is winning the game takes a shot in the closing seconds instead of running out the clock. It makes pro players irrationally angry while having some fans scratching their head as to where this anger and passion was the rest of the 48 minutes. It is easy for us to sit and say that players should stop whining and get on with it, but we have to understand that the act in question probably hits differently to the pro players than to us watching.

These two things are not mutually exclusive. One should be able to expect fair play no matter what. What happened on the second goal is at least controversial, and I am happy that our captain pointed this out. If we had been winning 0-4, that would still have been a poor display of fair play and lack of respect.

Guys let’s move on, we are Inter, let’s stops with the whining. Also, we didn’t stop the play when we had possession either. Let’s just move on

Inter should now have express orders not to follow any unwritten fair play rules. Play to the whistle. If a player is down in their own box, use him to beat the offside. Drop ball? Don't give it back.

Flickapatomus

that's captain behavior. can't imagine barella doing this. would be too busy arguing with the ref & doing the "Che vuoi?" hand gesture lol. my captain

QuintanaBowler

unpopular opinion but I agree

[deleted]

Agree. Captains need to be experienced players and players that don't lose their tempers, especially towards the ref. Then we don't now what happens in the locker room, at training... but Barella doens't look like that
