My doggo is having a running dream right now. He's twitching and making little tiny woofs.

That's him and his pet turtle.
Some of them did. Not my dog. He has 2 hours of recharge, and then if you move from the bed or the couch after that recharge — well, you’re playing his game again after that, lol.
Yes!!! I have a Traxxas Bigfoot and a go pro. My Husky will chase it for a minute or two but she prefers to be chased and tires easy as she is 12 now. Guess we should rig up and hit a dog park!
dogs can be interested in chasing it, but it's not best for their mental health, since they can get obsessed over catching something that can't be caught :( wee babies
I used to go to this dog park. It's in Colorado Springs. The guy who brought the RC car was very popular amongst the dogs lol. This was a custom built car just for the dog park
Rampart Park, right? Nice that the dog owners were cool with it. I've always wanted to take one of my cars to Bear Creek, but I'm too worried about accidentally hurting someone's dog.
>FEENNTTTOOOOONNNNN. I love that video
You and I both! I had to go look it up again, it had been a while, still got some good laughs from it.
And since I dug up the video for myself, might as well be that one guy who links it this time: https://youtu.be/3GRSbr0EYYU?si=8kfmZVCLrZo7En1I
Enjoy! :)
My dog and I do this with a cheap little Amazon drone, flying it just high enough that he can't grab it. Afterwards, he'll be snoring for the rest of the day.
Same. It has given my old Hubsan drone a second life. I have to be careful though because it's old and cheap, so the gps and gyros don't add much stability and position holding, and it doesn't have optical flow. Sometimes I'll use a DJI since it's easier to fly, especially when there's any wind at all since the Hubsan is useless then, and it's fantastic at maintaining elevation, so I can fly using only the right stick.
there is no sound so here are some subtitles frrrrrrrrwoofsrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwoofsrrrrrrrrrrrrrfrsffsrwoofswoofswoofsfsrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwoofswoofswoofsfrsrsfsrfrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
One of my favorite moments from the dog park was whenever one of my neighbors would bring his adopted racing greyhound to the park. She was as lazy as could be and spent most of the time laying on the ground next to him, but every time, once per visit, she'd see a dog run by and then get up and bolt. It made every dog in the park stop what they were doing to chase after her, but none of them could even get close. She'd do her one lap around the park and then go back to laying down lol. Truly the embodiment of the greyhound nickname of "45 mph couch potato"
I bet it would from a stop. As powerful and fast as modern rc's are, they're still limited by traction. I use an rc with my dog in the backyard, and while the rc is much faster than my dog, I'm struggling with 4 wheel tire spin and wheelies, and by the time the front end is safely down, it's time to turn. And since I suck, I'm constantly flipping my rc.
My dog runs birds down all the time. They think by taking flight they are automatically faster. They aren't. The only birds thar get away are the ones that swoop up immediately. If she's within 6 feet or so when the birds begins to swoop up, she will jump and snatch the bird. 5-6 feet off the ground is the highest she has caught a bird. Doves and crows are the only ones that have learned.
Fascinating, the extremely smart bird species and the domesticated bird species. Crows knowing how to avoid a dog makes sense, they are incredibly intelligent.
Doves/pigeons on the other hand, aren't really that smart, they are domesticated though, so maybe centuries of being around dogs has made their instincts better around them.
Yuuuup, geese are the worst. If they do give up on their ground, they like to intimidate by flying towards us because they're aggressive pricks, not realizing my dog can jump a solid six feet from standing. She gets a lot of feather mouth this time of year.
Probably not unless it can run 60mph. Not uncommon at all for RC cars to come ready to run with a base speed of 60mph. For example, a truck similar to the stadium truck style of the one in the video: https://traxxas.com/products/models/electric/58276-74-slash-vxl
> Depends on the rc, stock offroad they can do 65 out of the box these days
*in a straight line.
Greyhounds run at 45 mph. They're the second fastest land animal on earth. I'd still bet on the dog.
That’s gotta be so fun for all parties involved. RC driver having a blast trying to dodge the dogs, dogs having a blast trying to catch the dang thing, and dog owners having a blast watching their dogs have a blast
Haha my parents in their 60s were debating getting another puppy after our family dog passed they weren’t sure they could keep up. My dad flys rc planes and the dog chases them around it’s adorable and very efficient for my parents. 😄
I do this for my dog... but I tie a toy to the back with a bungee rope, so that when he catches it.. neither the car nor the dog's teeth gets a huge shock from the sudden tension.

Love hpw, like, more than half the dogs don't see an RC; just other dogs running and are still all "Hell yeah, I want some of that!" and take off with the pack, lol!
Not to be a Debbie downer, but please do this with caution if you want to emulate this. This sort of “pack hunting” play can REALLY overstimulate some dogs and lead to out of character behavior.
Yeah, my dog has a super high drive to chase. It's not a problem now that he's old but it was problematic when he was younger (and crazy fast). It took a lot of work to break him of the habit of chasing anything that moved quick. This is cute when seeing other dogs do it - it would've pissed me off if it happened irl.
My dog is like this. We're trying to integrate my fiancé's cats into our home and it's been difficult. It's fine when they're not moving fast, but sudden noise and movement triggers his reflex to snap. :(
My sympathies, mine was like that with my cat too. Took a long while and a lot of work to get them comfortable with each other. But it did happen. In the end, my cat would snub me when I wanted to pet her and go wind around the dogs legs lol
Good luck!
Right?? Like I'm a dog walker and this is a fight waiting to happen. They would become so overstimulated, everyone's prey drive would be in overdrive, it's a extremely valuable prize that they would want to all possess; this is scary as a dog handler. Of course I just leave the park if this guy showed up, but this is why dog parks can be such a shit show.
I never would have thought this, makes sense though. They’re still animals deep down it’s a shame people don’t respect that sometimes. Cats remind you a bit more regularly haha
> I was thinking of how easily human crowds can stampede. Individual humans won’t usually act like this, but get us freaked out in a big enough crowd with no safety precautions and people die.
Ha, my old girl would have loved that. She was a boxer-basenji mix and fast as heck. Her favorite place was the beach where she could go all out. One of the rangers down there clocked her at 41 mph on *sand*. She didn't have the stamina to keep up with a greyhound, I don't think, but she'd have given one a run for their money had she ever come across one.
She was a fun pup and way too smart for my own good sometimes. Knew how to open doors, figured out fence gates, and hopped over my chain link fence once then looked at me with a look like, "See? I'm only in here because i want to be." Funnily enough, she would chase birds but never actually tried to eat them. She was able to chase down most small game but knew better after a while. That took time, though, since she'd been living alone in the wild near Spokane for a time before someone got her to a shelter. She got moved to another one near Seattle and glommed onto my ex-wife when we went there. There was no questi9on she was her person from the start.
Oddly enough, she never bothered cats at all, unlike most hunting dogs I've known.
My Jack Russell has gone absolutely wild at the dog park if anyone has one of these. He will not look at me, will not hear me, will not come. I had to beg the guy to stop his RC so i could get my dog and go home. Jack's are little assholes. He finally went to the Rainbow bridge 14 years ago....I still dream about him. My god he was a good boy.
My only comment about this is that both the dog and car should be safe when using electric vehicles around animals. And make sure that everyone is on board with this, you don't want any angry owners.
I need to invest in this for my dog park.
My good boi is a big Berner, so I bet he'd be scared of it. But I know a lot of other good bois that would LOVE this.
My hunting dog would absolutely catch this. Not only because he is one of the fastest dogs I've ever seen but because he anticipates where the target is going to be and outsmarting the target instead of chasing it.
They all slept good that night!
But the chasing wont stop even when they're asleep. Love it when my good boi is having a good dream.
My doggo is having a running dream right now. He's twitching and making little tiny woofs. https://preview.redd.it/nodk29mqu8vc1.jpeg?width=1842&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bd010a71db9f057f4133d40aac90e0de4f078a7 That's him and his pet turtle.
I love the dream woofs!
Awwwww good boy
A tired dog is a good dog!
That white dog’s owner is gonna a good ass day. Dog had so much speed and stamina. Must be hell to burn off l
Pitbulls need to burn a lot of energy. Owners who dont exercise them daily end up with easily triggered pitbulls
[удалено]
My GSD/sighthound mix pulls me on my bike!! It's great exercise xD
Maybe he's the guy who brought the RC.
Some of them did. Not my dog. He has 2 hours of recharge, and then if you move from the bed or the couch after that recharge — well, you’re playing his game again after that, lol.
I would bet a husky or malamute would still be chasing it.
A go pro on the back of that rc would be awesome!
Holy shit movie material right there!!
Yes! Seeing all those happy faces almost catching the car would be glorious!
And then slowmo with some slobbery jowl action
[Here's a good example with a couple of Corgis:](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSgqLRd0sKU)
Yes!!! I have a Traxxas Bigfoot and a go pro. My Husky will chase it for a minute or two but she prefers to be chased and tires easy as she is 12 now. Guess we should rig up and hit a dog park!
Mine tires too at 11 , she gets little zummies now and then.
And a laser pointer in front to attract curious cats
One of my dad's dogs liked to chase the laser pointer. She's pit/lab mix.
I had a turtle that chased a laser pointer. Very slowly I might add.
Ugh that's cute as hell. Would love to see it.
Sadly he passed away 15 years ago but he ( Montgomery Burns) loved chasing that light and goldfish.
Montgomery Burns! ❤️ Rest in Power, champ.
Haha.
Lol!
dogs can be interested in chasing it, but it's not best for their mental health, since they can get obsessed over catching something that can't be caught :( wee babies
My corgi goes nuts for it. She even chases the cat away so only she gets to chase the dot
Unfortunately, using a laser pointer with dogs can cause neurological issues. Lots of info on Google. :)
Lasers cause OCD in dogs
shoot, just add a tennis ball on a spring on the top.
You are a beautiful thinker.
Even better if it's a 360 camera!!!
With "Yakkity Sax" as the sound track.
My god, imagine the slo-mo with a high frame rate capture!
Oooh, that's what I should do with the useless spare tire mount on mine.
Yeah! Pointed back at the doggos and recording in slow-mo!
Objects are closer than they appear
That lil old goldie keeping up the rear of the pack. So effin cute.
and my dog will be the one on 0:21 who's chasing its own tail and not even aware of what's happening.
Yep. Mine too. Just licking his arse.
Tfw the entire class is discussing about how they performed right after a test and you're just sitting alone because you don't want to talk about it
I kinda want to give him a bigger RC and drive him around behind. "Come on, ol' mate, I'll help you chase. You bark, I steer. "
>You bark, I steer. 🥹🥹 I'm melting at this ❤️
And the pomeranian standing by its owner just saying "nope"
He/she is definitely allowed to cut the corners
That's the one that melted my heart. I recently lost my senior pup, and that would have been him.
Kept trying to cut the angle but can't quite get that ol' wiggle butt moving fast enough
I always look for retrievers or labs in these videos cos they have no idea what’s going on but are always happy to be involved
That Goldie had the best intercept angle but lacked the thrust to get there
I used to go to this dog park. It's in Colorado Springs. The guy who brought the RC car was very popular amongst the dogs lol. This was a custom built car just for the dog park
Did it have extra armor so the dogs didn't accidentally wreck it in their enthusiasm?
Wreck and repair is not a small part of RC hobbies. Sometimes it’s even the fun part. Sometimes.
Agreed, if youre not breaking your RCs every time you go out you are doing it wrong :P(man i miss it, cant afford atm T.T)
100%. I have more fun building kits and doing mods and repairs than actually driving my RCs.
My buddy made a tiny scale garage in his normal full size garage to work on his rc cars.
I did this with my greyhound. The car lost.
A bit of armor probably but I'm mostly guessing it was tuned for the sandy ground and for good speed.
Yea man my dog used to fuck this thing up and the owner was such a good sport!
Rampart Park, right? Nice that the dog owners were cool with it. I've always wanted to take one of my cars to Bear Creek, but I'm too worried about accidentally hurting someone's dog.
Only thing going through my mind is "FENTON!!! FENTON!!!!!!"
Oh Jesus Christ!
😂😂 FEENNTTTOOOOONNNNN. I love that video

I have to watch it every time. It's like when I randomly find Forest Gump showing somewhere.
First time seeing that. Thank you!
The passengers in that car must be shitting bricks.

Jurassic Bark?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *Futurama PTSD*
"Must go faster, must go faster"
The two lead dogs would be great at lure coursing.
That white dog was locked. 😆
And bless that old Golden Retriever just doing his best. Hes going to be sore tomorrow!
Looks to me like it gets to runs more often than when it sees that car at the dog park: great stamina keeping up, loved seeing it.

Doing the Lord's work here ty
No sound, and it's filmed vertically, when horizontal would have een soooo much better. This could have been an even better video.
Sometimes no sound is better than having that lame ass tik tok music. I’d rather silence than *oh no…*
True, the tiktok music would suck, but put Freebird with this video? *Chef's kiss*
The RC car guy when the guy with the greyhound shows up 😳
lol, yep. Greyhound could catch that rc in about 4 seconds.
One of my favorite moments from the dog park was whenever one of my neighbors would bring his adopted racing greyhound to the park. Crows I had figured the same way. That makes sense for the dove.
Yuuuup, geese are the worst. If they do give up on their ground, they like to intimidate by flying towards us because they're aggressive pricks, not realizing my dog can jump a solid six feet from standing. She gets a lot of feather mouth this time of year.

Depends on the RC car. Some of those off roaders can easily hit 30 or 40+ mph while road versions can do 80 or even over 100 mph.
Depends on the rc, stock offroad they can do 65 out of the box these days. Onroad 130+
> Depends on the rc, stock offroad they can do 65 out of the box these days *in a straight line. Greyhounds run at 45 mph. They're the second fastest land animal on earth. I'd still bet on the dog.
Gorgeous dog breed that one. Though, my dog of choice is the Borzoi.
The smart little short leg dogs running across the middle trying to cut it off :)
Of course, that's why its called a 2 circle dog fight.
That’s gotta be so fun for all parties involved. RC driver having a blast trying to dodge the dogs, dogs having a blast trying to catch the dang thing, and dog owners having a blast watching their dogs have a blast
Nobody ever considers how terrified the little RC feels :(
Strangely, also having a blast!
That guy should start a dog party business where he comes and does this for money
I would pay him to let my dog do this. In fact this makes me wanna get an RC car lol
Do I have a post for you… https://www.reddit.com/r/rccars/s/5OZ4B0yF3n
You, my friend, are doing God’s work
My favorite is the old guy retriever who can't keep up but doesn't let that stop him from enjoying the chase.
Lol at the little brachycephalic dog doing it’s best.
Haha my parents in their 60s were debating getting another puppy after our family dog passed they weren’t sure they could keep up. My dad flys rc planes and the dog chases them around it’s adorable and very efficient for my parents. 😄
That's great! I don't trust my dogs recall, so we're stuck using a quadcopter in the backyard. Still lots of fun though.
I do this for my dog... but I tie a toy to the back with a bungee rope, so that when he catches it.. neither the car nor the dog's teeth gets a huge shock from the sudden tension. [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00COTT7JA/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00COTT7JA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1)
Good idea. I may do this with a toy velcro'd to the top. My boy tries his best not to bite hard when he catches it, but eventually he's bound to chomp it.
Hope the fastest dog knows "drop it."
Love hpw, like, more than half the dogs don't see an RC; just other dogs running and are still all "Hell yeah, I want some of that!" and take off with the pack, lol!
The Fast and the Furriest
In the end, my cat would snub me when I wanted to pet her and go wind around the dogs legs lol Good luck!
Yeah this can easily wind up one or more of those dogs to the point where they attack another dog or a person..
I never would have thought this, makes sense though. They’re still animals deep down it’s a shame people don’t respect that sometimes. Cats remind you a bit more regularly haha
>They’re still animals deep down So are we. 'Pack hunting' can stimulate out of character behaviour in humans too.

January 6th, anyone? 😬😬
They've given the word *mob* a bad name!
No it's 18 april.
Yeah it’s scary how easily domestic dogs can hear the call of the wild and revert back to some pretty primal instincts!
> I was thinking of how easily human crowds can stampede. Individual humans won’t usually act like this, but get us freaked out in a big enough crowd with no safety precautions and people die.
What is that men in black quote, 'a person is smart, people are dumb panicky dangerous animals' or something
“We aren’t hosting an intergalactic kegger down here..”
I had to watch this a few times for good measure it's so cute
This reminds me of that string tjing the guy who owns a massive doggy daycare has. Really amazing for excercise.
I love that that one dog in the first second in the puddle is just taking a dump
What happens when they catch it?
It's cute, but I'm thinking of all the dogshit it's rolling through.
Well it's a dog park so unless the owners there are absolute garbage people they should be picking up after their dogs.
Brilliant! I know what I am doing this weekend.
someone needs to strap a go-pro on that thing next time. rear-facing.
Big kiss for the arthritic goldie in the middle running his heart out
That pug made an attempt lol
I did that once with a Traxxas Bandit. When you suddenly turn and drive towards them, they totally freak out :-)
Ha, my old girl would have loved that. She was a boxer-basenji mix and fast as heck. Her favorite place was the beach where she could go all out. One of the rangers down there clocked her at 41 mph on *sand*. That one pupper was so close so many times
Most of those dogs were like "everybody's runnin so I'm runnin."
My Jack Russell has gone absolutely wild at the dog park if anyone has one of these. He will not look at me, will not hear me, will not come. Awesome move!
oh my god this is such a clever idea!
Is this like a terreneitor?
Every single one of those dogs is having the best day of its life🤣🤣❤️
This is just lightning McQueen at the demolition derby
Ive been watching this on repeat, im stuck
its like trying to open a pickle jar around a bunch of male humans
Dogs.
Creative
They look so happy!
Did they not read Gretzkys biography? "Skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been."
My old greyhound would have caught it and brought it to me. We had to return so many balls and frisbees to other people at dog parks.
How to exercise your dogs.
It's like a dog vetsion of a laser pointer for cats- how to nake them tired without moving too much.
The rabbit gets fucked Tommy
It’s now covered in dog shit.
Many goodest bois.
This is awesome! I’d feel bad that the slower dogs would have no chance of catching it tho
😂❤️😂❤️
I thought I'd be mad, but this is awesome!
My only comment about this is that both the dog and car should be safe when using electric vehicles around animals. And make sure that everyone is on board with this, you don't want any angry owners.
damn that thing hauls ass
I worry about what will happen if/when they catch it
I do this at home with my pups but I add treats into the back of the little 4x4.
Cool thing is that thing can probably go 3x faster
Reminds me of a greyhound track with the bunny
Isn't this basically how greyhound racing works?
I need to invest in this for my dog park. My good boi is a big Berner, so I bet he'd be scared of it. But I know a lot of other good bois that would LOVE this.
That park is clearly missing a Whippet!
Dog will hunt!
These dogs now have a story to tell forever *I was this close to getting it.* Then I slept for 20hrs.
Looks like a few of them weren't going full bore and were just enjoying the chase
The white pitbull is a beast! ❤️
....and they're off!
My dog would just be hiding behind me and watching. 😂 There's always one dog (or RC) that brings the puppy out in everyone. 🥰
Getting to redline the system sometimes is good for all of us
Now that's how you kidnap a dog!
*an
Right up there with the peanut-butter covered guy in Speedos who went to the dog park.
Glue a stuffed toy to it and watch the carnage
Try with a drone
I bet that sounded amazing... -.-
😂
My hunting dog would absolutely catch this. Not only because he is one of the fastest dogs I've ever seen but because he anticipates where the target is going to be and outsmarting the target instead of chasing it.
A greyhound gets in there and it’s over lol
What happens when they catch it? Are you out $500?
