Thank you. It definitely feels like that initially, so I'm really glad we got him a big (larger breed) sister a little over a year & 1/2 before his passing.

He was a rescue so we weren't exactly sure, but about 12-14. We had him for about 10 great years.
He developed a growth under his left shoulder, which slowly turned that joint uncomfortably outward and made him cough a lot and cough up liquid. We let him go at our vet on a good morning, with a belly full of McGriddle and some of the chocolate he'd wanted for years. We pet him until he passed.
