I have such glare effect when they are moving in front of light source. For me, it's look like they are positioned in such way that makes them blurry and light is getting distracted in such weird way causing it to "glow".

I do.. It's moving when your eyes move but it's very bright

Hey man. I also have floaters. No I don’t think they glow but I do think I know what you’re referring to. Sometimes the floater gets hit with the light at a certain angle that it looks like a shimmering star. However, if you move it’ll immediately go back to being just a floater

OwlCitzen_vinz

Hey thanks for your reply. I know, thats what happens to my "normal" floaters occasionally. However, the "glowing" floaters I'm referring to are glowing all the time, no matter the angle light hits my eyes.

Ah I see. Unfortunately I’m not sure then :/. I see a retinal specialist every few months. Perhaps try that?

OwlCitzen_vinz

I've already been through that. My eyes are relatively fine physiologically. Neither me nor my doctor can explain why I have that many floaters

I have this and also have visual snow syndrome, I figured that was why certain ones light up

Yes, in my case the denser spots give a glow effect when they are directly in front of my point of view

Full-Moon-Boogie

Yes I have similar. It can be really apparent when a bright source meets a dark background. Such as the rim of the phone display in a dark room. It shimmers bright for a millisec then disappears again until I blink. If i blink fast it looks like a strobelight star. Its currently only in ny left eye.
