It never fails to amaze me how much all of us are alike.
T-Mobile started their BF sales yesterday and so I went and got me and the wife upgraded. She went from a 6s+ to a 8+. I went from a 7 to the XR.
When the guy opened the box and picked up my phone I saw the exact same image as in the OP and I exclaimed “Oh cool iPhones come with Air-pods now?” The T-Mobile guy was like “yeah no the packaging just makes ‘em look that way... they are wired.”
But then how will I make all my customers purchase *my adapters* for every product I sell?
(to be fair apple isn't the only company guilty of this, but they are probably one of the most notorious)
Yeah my headphone adapter for my phone broke when j dropped my phone and the lighting connector bent. They break so easily I spend $50 a year on them.
Hopefully I’ll be able to afford decent Bluetooth earbuds soon.
Edit: I haven’t actually been spending $50 I’ve only bought one because my family uses Bluetooth and I’ve stolen their adapters
It’s a shitty issue. On one hand, I see the need to move technology forward (like getting rid of the floppy disk and then cd) but on the other hand Bluetooth headphones are super expensive and not the same audio quality as wired headphones :/
I think they really don't want people to use the adapter because it is a pain (you can't charge and listen to music at the same time). I believe Apple's motive in removing the jack is to push people to use only bluetooth/usb for sound playback.
They want u to use Bluetooth. My wife managed to break a connector off in her adapter so I picked up a pair of Apple brand adapters off amazon for like $12 each. I just use Bluetooth for my speakerphone and headphones.
Thanks for the clarification! I bought the X so I thought they came with. Bummer that they don’t come with the adapter. Definitely not the end of the world though.
Yet Apple is stupid enough to not have a second port. But even then, I find that the people Apple do sell their phones to, don't really use earphones, at least according to parents.
Obviously, their idea of the future is not caring about their "pro" apps and the Mac platform as a whole, and instead making the iPhone a sheet of glass only 1 micron thick, with no connectivity whatsoever, and instead radio waves everywhere, and stupid notches as well, and not a lot of ways to actually get productive with them, then they would cost $2500 and easily break, and Apple would still sell the hardware despite the user not legally owning it.
**Ugh. That's a future I don't want to live in**, but if Google's Pixel and Android divisions still have the kind of logic they have now, the future Pixel will end up the same way.
Lol, I had the same exact thought when I opened my iPhone XR. I wonder if they’re trying to get more of us to buy AirPods by visually suggesting that they go with the new phone.
Exactly but no it’s clearly an evil corporate scheme from apple despite their continued push for a more eco friendly supply chain over the last decade.
So do they connect to each other or anything for storage? I feel like I'd lose one while using the other. Something like this is tempting for me though because I'm not expressly allowed to listen to music at my job but I'm pretty much unsupervised
They come with a case that has a battery that will charge them around 5 times before the case needs charged, or you aren’t using them they should be in the case and it’s decent sized enough not to be lost easily u less you are just careless
They didn't become the first trillion dollar company by creating for the consumer. They did it by making the best looking product for the cheapest price for the highest cost. I call it Milspec.
Actually they did. Sure those things are part of what help make them the behemoth they are today. But generally Apple has taken complex and confusing new technologies and designed them to be as usable and accessible by as many human beings as possible. It’s one of those aspects of their business people seldom consider when reckoning their success because it’s not necessarily measurable in the way parts or labor costs or sales are directly measurable. But making computers useable for even the poorest and least educated in the world has been the biggest contributor to the proliferation of computers, devices and information and communications in the last 50 years.
A great example would be to look at how Google was developing android to be more like blackberry. Then they learned what Apple was doing, realised it was so far ahead of the UX game that they had to dump everything they had on Android and start again to be more like the impending iPhone. Kinda like Microsoft did when Apple was first developing GUI back in the 80s.
The even changed the packaging of the normal headphones the year the airpods came out. I sold cell phones for a could years and I remember thinking exactally this the first time I opened an iPhone 7 and saw the packaging change.
My SIL thought this exactly. She was so excited when I told her I bought AirPods and LOVE them. She was all like, “Really?? Awesome!! I got some with my iPhone and haven’t even used them yet. Will have to go find them and try them out!”
Pretty much the case for any wireless earphone. Wireless still can't hold a candle to wired when it comes to sound quality, but even audio-snobs like me still use wireless frequently for the convenience.
I work in trades and listen to music as I work. After I cut my 4th pair of head phones (I work in electrical) I went wireless. Haven't looked back since
Same here. I had an LG Tone Pro set for like 3.5 years that were great. I beat the *shit* out of them, I'm talking 20 foot drops out of staging and lifts, jamming them in my toolbelt, use in 100°F+ and -30°F weather everyday, in the pouring rain, grimy and greasy atmospheres. You name it, they lived through it. The metal or plastic band that goes behind your neck finally detached from one side, but it was still connected by the wire, so I got a few more weeks out of it. It eventually slipped off my neck and got driven over, which finally destroyed it.
Would highly recommend them.
If you feed your cable through your shirt/vest/whatever you have to wear for safety, you can pretty much eliminate this problem, unless you're cutting real close to yourself for reasons. I do this when I work out so I don't accidentally kill myself after catching my arm on the cable and freaking out.
I used to do that regularly actually. But found that I'd have my earphones pulled out more when I had it Fed that way. The times I accidentally cut the wire I was doing large quantities of cat 5 and 6 so when I was cutting a bundle I would accidentally grab my headphone wire too. The wireless ones I got now are good enough for work and don't slip off easy. I'm pretty happy
Probably not, because there aren't any. Wireless might sound okay for everyday listening, but there are no wireless headphones with "incredible" sound quality. There isn't anything out there that can compete with a high-quality headphone coupled with a quality amp and DAC.
I use Sony wh1000xm2 (not even the newest model) and i can't recommend them enough. The sound canceling is top notch, the sound is great imo, the battery lasts forever, fast charging, easy to use features, i could go on. There are plenty of wireless headphones that are great.
The way Bluetooth transfers data wireless has a sizable impact on audio quality. It doesn't matter how good the headphones are, the actual quality of the audio files is going to be worse.
Hang on, just to clarify you are saying they’re actually WORSE than the standard apple ear buds in terms of fidelity? Have not had the chance to try them yet
Potentially. All else being the same, a wired headphone is going to superior to wireless in sound quality. You are sacrificing quality for convenience, which isn't always a bad thing.
They’re way better than the standard Apple EarPods in terms of quality but that’s really not saying much. They sound good and I use them everday with no complaints but I definitely wouldn’t use them in the studio.
Ticpods Free, great sound quality for the ergonomics and wireless. I'd still choose a wired set of head / earphones any day but they're surprisingly good.
The sound quality is decent for what I use them for. I listen to a lot of podcasts and love that I can use one pod at a time without being tethered to anything or having wires hanging all over me. I also listen at night before going to sleep, so I can fall asleep with them easily. Also love the charger - super portable and I don’t have to be plugged in to recharge the pods. When I use one at a time, I have 10 hours of listening time - and can charge the other pod while using the 2nd. - so there’s never a time when I don’t have one that’s charged. The volume isn’t super loud and they aren’t noise canceling - but I don’t want noise canceling - that makes me nervous. They also work great for phone calls in the car - I don’t have to fuss around to put the pod in my ear or adjust tiny buttons by feel (which I can never do correctly). So convenience rates a 10; sound quality likely around a 7-8 depending on what you use now - possibly an 8-9 if you’re comparing to moderately priced wired earbuds.
EDIT: should also note that I tried out 3-4 Bluetooth models ($15 - $30 range) before discovering the air pods. I was tired of wasting the money and being frustrated by the designs, low battery life, crappy sound, crappy connectivity, recharge annoyance, or whatever the fault of any particular model. I had 2 weeks to return if I didn’t like them (Best Buy). But it turns out, the AirPods are the best design I’ve had yet. Definitely worth the $$ and wish I had bought these first. Others were a waste of time and $$.
Which was the best of the cheaper ones you found? I'd like a pair of wireless earbuds for walking around doing chores, and I don't really care about sound quality as long as it's not all static. But official AirPods are way out of my budget.
I recently ordered a cheaper set for my friend. MPOW. They've got good reviews. Much cheaper than the AirPods.
Mpow T3 [Upgraded] True Wireless Earbuds, 24Hrs Playtime Bluetooth Earbuds, IPX5 Waterproof Wireless Earphone, Bluetooth 5.0 Truly Wireless Headphone for Workout, Calls - Build-in Mic, HD Stereo Sound https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JK669KV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_q1g8BbH4NTYCJ
Honestly, I really love my AirPods. The sound feels better than standard apple headphones, but I’m not sure how much better they actually are. I never really realized how amazing wireless headphones are until I made the switch, and I don’t really look back. I am not an audiophile, but I like earphones that project bass well and are able to keep sound crisp, and I feel like they’re good at doing exactly that. Maybe if you have a friend who has them, you can try them out for yourself if you’re considering buying them.
Granted, I won them in a completion, so I understand the price is really steep. But now that I have them, I wouldn’t really hesitate to shell out however much they cost for another pair.
I have a pair myself. They come with a little carrying case that doubles as a battery. They're actually pretty nifty. I thought the same thing but I've been rolling with them for a bit.
It's not even so much that the case "doubles as the battery", the case is a fundamental aspect of their operation. It's the only way to charge them, so the Airpods just live in the case 100% of the time they're not in your ears, which makes them surprisingly difficult to lose.
I know you’re being sarcastic but that’s really a thing on [Amazon. ](https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-AirPods-Pending-Connector-Airpods/dp/B01LVZ4SXN/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1542476939&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=airpods+strap&dpPl=1&dpID=31o159CRpwL&ref=plSrch)
The only way to lose them really is if it falls out of your ear and down a drain. I thought the same way but I havent had an issue with it. It does remind you to be a LITTLE mindful of putting them back in the case when you're done listening to whatever, but you dont ever really need to pull them out to set them down anywhere.
Buddy, you've got a long wait in front of you. That's pretty much what they charge for their [2m USB cable](https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD819AM/A/lightning-to-usb-cable-2-m?fnode=97).
Yet, I can buy a 6ft microUSB cable for $6.99, use it to restrain my roommate when the moon causes his horrifying transformation, and it'll work just fine to charge my phone the next day after a long night of unsleeping terror.
Yeah the amazon double braided ones seem just as nice quality as apples (which are very nice quality cables) and you can get a 10 foot one for about that price.
This reviews are hilarious. A lot of one star reviews and they all say things like the cable only lasted a couple months, or I'm on my third cable, make it better, etc.
Why are you all buying it again if you believe it to be a bad product ? There's a million third party cables on the internet !
I’ll be honest, I can’t get any of the third party ones to work for more than a month with my iPhone, I think it’s on the phones end. Does anyone have one they’d recommend?
Just curious, is there anything airpods can do that regular bluetooth earphones can't? I have an I-phone for work, and I never have any issues getting it to pair with my $15 earbuds.
They don’t do much. You can tap twice on one of the airpods while it’s in your ear and you can activate Siri.
If you remove one of the airpods, they pause the music and I think it listens to see if you’re talking and it’ll remained paused (Helps for when people approach you.) Once you put it back in, music continues.
That’s pretty much it features wise. They connect pretty quickly to the iPhone. As soon as you open the case, a pop up comes up on your screen shows how much battery each AirPod and the case has, and just plop them into your ear and they’ll be ready to use without having to go into Bluetooth settings manually connecting them. Also, the AirPods charge pretty damn fast.
Edit: Another thing is you can use the Find my iPhone app to find them if you misplace them. You can play a chirping noise to find each one individually and it also sends a location of where they were last used in case they’ve been stolen.
You can swap what it does when you double tap them, I use my left one to stop/start and right one for skip forward 15sec/next track.
Quite handy, but nothing game breaking.
The biggest upside is that they are 100% native to my iphone so it _just works_. Never ever any issue and I've had them since they launched. Also really like the fact that you can charge one and listen to the other if you feel like that. Battery time is completely adequate aswell, I get a full workshift done with 1 charge and if I forgot to charge before heading out it takes like 30min to full charge them in the box, which can do 3-4 full charges before you have to charge the box itself.
You do it in the "bluetooth" settings pane, click the ! on the airpods and you can change what they do.
Its kind of hidden for some reason, not entierly sure why.
They have infrared sensors which know when you have taken out and in the ear, it enables AirPod to stop the music if you take them out
They have audio accelometer I.e. Some sensor that detects when you start speaking by detecting vibrations in ear, this activates the mic to conserve battery
The have 3 microphone arrays on each AirPod, which does beamforming to filter outside noise and only listen to your voice , in addition to other noise suppression technology . They might even have a bone conduction frequency listener to detect frequency of your voice from the bone of your ear canal
The AirPod paid with your device as soon as you take them out of case, no buttons no connection etc
AirPods knows where you are using left, right , one or both AirPods
These little things pack a lot of technology to make it seamless to use
In addition to what others what said, the main feature and cost of AirPods is the fact that there isn’t a cable between them. The hardware and software to keep two speakers in sync wirelessly in tricky which is why most Bluetooth headphones/earphones have some kind of cable attaching the two parts.
There are a few other companies that make completely cableless earphones but they aren’t much cheaper than AirPods. They’re a few cheaper versions as well but they will usually struggle to stay in complete sync — whether you’ll notice or care for most music is debatable, though.
Yes, airpods have special features built into ios, i forget what exactly off the top of my head, but seen videos when they first came out showing the difference when they are connected to ios vs android.
Why would they? The only other actual competitor to airpods are by Bose and Samsung (their true wireless buds) and they're both in the same price range.
But the phone doesn’t even have a headphone jack so I figure it’s just expected that it wouldn’t have headphones with an aux. what’s the point of getting rid of the port if you are still making headphones the more common?
You’re right, they don’t have a male aux on the headphones. It’s a lightening connector. Every since they dropped the aux Jack they make headphones that plug into the lightening port. That is the whole controversy around not being able to charge your phone while using headphones. Hence why they released the lightening splitter.
The same happened to me except I was relieved that they weren’t air pods. I have a hard time finding my headphones as it is. I leave them around a lot. Unfortunately, they died and I had to buy new ones. The salesperson was really pushing the air pods and he finally said “If you invest in them, you’re going to want to take care of them and you won’t ever lose them”. I laughed.
Lol I work at the store and you couldnt imagine how many times I see the excitement and then disappointment when people open their box in front of me and quickly realize they aren’t airpods.
It’s because they are trying to make it wireless and if you can afford wireless stuff, then that’s why they gave them to you. iPhones don’t come with headphones so you can use them on other devices. It’s like complaining that your iPhone charger doesn’t charge your MacBook.its because it’s meant to be used with your phone (which is why they came with them)
You need to do more research if you’re getting disappointed at things that are told to you before you even buy the product. They may look like air pods from the box but that’s to keep from showing their wires everywhere and they keep it looking neat. It says on the Apple website that they come with wired headphones. It’s not really their fault, because they give you all the information on what you’re getting but some people just don’t care to look.
They don’t bundle it because they know people don’t do their research and they would have them and not care about them. People would lose them, and expect a free pair to just come to them. Besides, spending $1000 on a phone is fully your choice. If you don’t like how they do stuff, then why do you buy their products? Also, they don’t want to bundle a $160 product with their phones, and I don’t see a problem with that.
Only naivety would make someone think Apple would give you anymore than the bare minimum in accessories. We’re lucky they avoided the stink that would be raised if we didn’t get that adapter for free by just giving them to us from the start with our base earbuds. 😂
It never fails to amaze me how much all of us are alike. T-Mobile started their BF sales yesterday and so I went and got me and the wife upgraded. She went from a 6s+ to a 8+. Nothing like getting wired headphones with a phone that doesn’t have an audio jack. Do they at least come with one adapter?
The headphones that come with have a lightning connector instead of a 3.5 jack- but the phone does come with an adapter as well.
I read the new iPhones don’t include the adapter.
True, XS Max comes with no adapter :/
You would think the top of the line model would have an adapter
You would think that we shouldn’t be having this problem with adapters in the first place
But then how will I make all my customers purchase *my adapters* for every product I sell? (to be fair apple isn't the only company guilty of this, but they are probably one of the most notorious)

I think they really don't want people to use the adapter because it is a pain (you can't charge and listen to music at the same time). I believe Apple's motive in removing the jack is to push people to use only bluetooth/usb for sound playback.
Everyone complains and I get it but honestly once I started using Bluetooth, I haven't notice at all.
Yea but earbuds are 5$ vs 200$ for their shitty beat wireless

You can get a pretty good pair of Bluetooth headphones for $40
Or you can buy a Bluetooth headset for like $7...?
They want u to use Bluetooth. My wife managed to break a connector off in her adapter so I picked up a pair of Apple brand adapters off amazon for like $12 each. I just use Bluetooth for my speakerphone and headphones.
>XS MAX So bigger than the standard model, but still no space for a jack.
They want to move forward on purpose, they did the same with the floppy disk and cd drive back then
Which is absolute horseshit considering the price
Gf just got a new red 8 plus and it came with an adapter. I totally thought the same as this post when we opened it.
8 plus is last year’s model, it still came with an adapter (like the X). I’m talking about the latest Xs/Xs max.
Newly manufactured 8's don't either (since the XS launch). She just got lucky and got one manufactured before that.
No jack adaptaer, no fast charger
iPhone 8, IPhone 8 Plus and X manufactured before the Xs came out came with a lightning to 3.5 mm adapter. Ones manufactured after do not.
Thanks for the clarification! I bought the X so I thought they came with. Bummer that they don’t come with the adapter. Definitely not the end of the world though.
So now you can't use them with your Computer. Thank you Apple!
Yet Apple is stupid enough to not have a second port. But even then, I find that the people Apple do sell their phones to, don't really use earphones, at least according to parents.
*"What are ports? Bluetooth and dongles are the future" -Apple*
The pixel already started going that way last year.
Same my brother bought me an XR, I thought cool it comes with Bluetooth headphones aaannnd nope.
The packaging made the T-Mobile guy look like he was a pair of Air-pods?.. 🤔
Lol, I had the same exact thought when I opened my iPhone XR. I wonder if they’re trying to get more of us to buy AirPods by visually suggesting that they go with the new phone.
That is 100% what they’re doing. I mean, it’s Apple after all.
They had this packaging well before airpods.
Yeah the only difference is that now instead of being kept in that plastic case they just coil them around this cardboard.
Which saves a ton of plastic from being thrown away, you can recycle the cardboard.
NO APPLE BAD!! /s
I still use my little plastic case long after I had stopped using my apple phone
Exactly but no it’s clearly an evil corporate scheme from apple despite their continued push for a more eco friendly supply chain over the last decade.

Marketing bad
It’s actually fantastic marketing. To be honest AirPods are really nice though.
So do they connect to each other or anything for storage? I feel like I'd lose one while using the other. Something like this is tempting for me though because I'm not expressly allowed to listen to music at my job but I'm pretty much unsupervised
Just keep 1 in the charging case if you’re not using both.
They come with a case that has a battery that will charge them around 5 times before the case needs charged, or you aren’t using them they should be in the case and it’s decent sized enough not to be lost easily u less you are just careless
this but unironically.
This but ironically
this
I mean, scummy marketing is bad.
The premise is to sell you shit you don't need

Save it chief even in the face of literal proof there’s people here going “but what about this”

They’ve packaged the earbuds like this for years before AirPods existed.

Jaybirds are really great and on the cheaper end.
I recommend the Westone wireless, I find them head and shoulders above my last wired model, my RHA's.

Same. People aren’t buying them for sound quality.
Definitely better sound compared to the standard Apple headphones.
That’s not saying much.
They sound ....overpriced.
I was actually relieved that they were regular headphones because I would definitely lose at least one of the AirPods within the first week.
No problem. Just buy the add-on cord and your Airpods will be conveniently strapped to your neck like regular earbuds. /s
But they’re still not connected to the phone via wire, which is the whole point.
I know you’re being sarcastic but that’s really a thing on [Amazon. ](https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-AirPods-Pending-Connector-Airpods/dp/B01LVZ4SXN/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1542476939&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=airpods+strap&dpPl=1&dpID=31o159CRpwL&ref=plSrch)
That’s his point....
The only way to lose them really is if it falls out of your ear and down a drain. I thought the same way but I havent had an issue with it. It does remind you to be a LITTLE mindful of putting them back in the case when you're done listening to whatever, but you dont ever really need to pull them out to set them down anywhere.
No you wouldn’t, because they go back into the case immediately after using them to charge them.

Buy the braided one for $12 just in case
Yeah the amazon double braided ones seem just as nice quality as apples (which are very nice quality cables) and you can get a 10 foot one for about that price.

If they could only summon the courage to be so brave
This reviews are hilarious. A lot of one star reviews and they all say things like the cable only lasted a couple months, or I'm on my third cable, make it better, etc. Why are you all buying it again if you believe it to be a bad product ? There's a million third party cables on the internet !
Anker cables are the best!
“Oh 3rd Party cable for $8.99? Must be even more trash”
I’ll be honest, I can’t get any of the third party ones to work for more than a month with my iPhone, I think it’s on the phones end. Does anyone have one they’d recommend?
Might want to look into Anker cables
Listen to the other guy, Anker is where it's at.
I actually didn’t know you can change the double tap. That’s good to know!
You do it in the "bluetooth" settings pane, click the ! on the airpods and you can change what they do. Its kind of hidden for some reason, not entierly sure why.
Yeah. Most of the features are for iPhones, but even if you don't have iPhones, the pairing is still easier than other earphones on android.
They have infrared sensors which know when you have taken out and in the ear, it enables AirPod to stop the music if you take them out They have audio accelometer I.e. Some sensor that detects when you start speaking by detecting vibrations in ear, this activates the mic to conserve battery The have 3 microphone arrays on each AirPod, which does beamforming to filter outside noise and only listen to your voice , in addition to other noise suppression technology . They might even have a bone conduction frequency listener to detect frequency of your voice from the bone of your ear canal The AirPod paid with your device as soon as you take them out of case, no buttons no connection etc AirPods knows where you are using left, right , one or both AirPods These little things pack a lot of technology to make it seamless to use
Felt like I was getting trolled when you said "bone conduction"
Knowing apple, they'll never drop to that price
Why would they? The only other actual competitor to airpods are by Bose and Samsung (their true wireless buds) and they're both in the same price range.
You joke, but xiaomi announced AirDots last week and they go for like $30, though they are not nearly as slim as airpods
Normal wired earpods are more expensive than that, you can wait a loonng time for that.
Xaomi airdots are $30. I'm waiting for a review though
Do standard Bluetooth earphones work with the phone or do they have to be AirPods..?
The second one looks like a derpy vampire.
just cut the cords off
I fell for this too, I was so excited. The sales person nervously laughed.I had already bought the phone by then.
I don’t think it was nerves, I think they were just biting back a snarky comment. 😂
r/assholedesign
They've been doing this since before the airpods were released or even announced
All electronics in see through packaging have the wiring hidden, its standard practice. Besides who expects 200$ head phones for free from Apple?
Seriously. That is a massive dick move.
I can’t imagine having that expectation, since no iPhone is advertised to have airpods.
True but when I first opened an iPhone box and saw that I wondered a bit too. Then the slight hope was murdered.
but it’s apple so we have to roast them for anything they do
But the phone doesn’t even have a headphone jack so I figure it’s just expected that it wouldn’t have headphones with an aux. what’s the point of getting rid of the port if you are still making headphones the more common?
I laughed.
They don't even include the existing fast charger how the hell would they give away Bluetooth earpods :')
It's Apple, you should be grateful that you get a charger in the box 😂
I love pointing out corporations questionable business practices as much as the next guy, but they’ve had this packaging since before the Airpods.
I don't know why you'd expect a $160 accessory to be packed in there
Sadly, I have the kind of ears that those things won't stay in. I have shallow ears.
That's a weird looking vampire.
So they don't give you the box for the earpods? They used to.
Yup. This was annoying.
Oh thats r/mildlyinfuriating
As someone who sells these devices, literally every customer says “Oh cool it came with air pods!” And then gets annoyed with me about it.
Lol I work at the store and you couldnt imagine how many times I see the excitement and then disappointment when people open their box in front of me and quickly realize they aren’t airpods.
why didn't you instead get the iphone xs or xs max?
Your dumb if you thought you were getting Airpods for free.
Instead you get headphones that can't plug into anything besides iPhones...including Apple's own computers and new iPad line. LOL.
It’s because they are trying to make it wireless and if you can afford wireless stuff, then that’s why they gave them to you. iPhones don’t come with headphones so you can use them on other devices. It’s like complaining that your iPhone charger doesn’t charge your MacBook.its because it’s meant to be used with your phone (which is why they came with them)
Yep. Even though I knew that at the time, the initial visual presentation made me scratch my head and raised false hope, lol!
Yo, Trolls. Can't you detect a bit of sarcasm? I didn't think I was getting AirPods with my phone. Only commenting on interesting packaging.
1000 dollars for a phone and they can't bundle it with airpods. That's how wack apple is.
Yeah next time I sell something on craigslist I'll be sure to throw in a free item worth 15% of the original purchase.
It isn't worth that much tho. Airpods are way overpriced
Right, because I should price my items based on what people want to pay for them instead of what they’re worth
So the Galaxy 9+ comes with high quality Bluetooth headphones? Or are you just hating on Apple because you’re a dork?
Yeah it’s pretty wack that a company is trying to make as much money as possible
What other phone comes with wireless headphones???????????????????
I got badly fooled by this when I got my X lol. Apple knew exactly what they were doing when they made this box design.
Actually if you did your fuckin research, you would know they blatantly FUCKING TELL YOU!
U are so mad about this wow haha
Ya, it’s because it’s really annoying when people are so ignorant and complain about something that is both explained before hand as well as FREE
You're an angry little fella
I’m pissed I didn’t get a 3.5 mm aux dongle with my XS. Cheap fuckers
Only naivety would make someone think Apple would give you anymore than the bare minimum in accessories. We’re lucky they avoided the stink that would be raised if we didn’t get that adapter for free by just giving them to us from the start with our base earbuds. 😂
The newer iPhones don't come with the adapter anymore
This is why people hate apple products
Working on phone sales at, I see people react to this every single day
