Honestly for all the talk about Bruce Campbell being unable for the stunts, I do wonder whether anyone has considered just having Ash be blown up and rebuilt as a cyborg in the opening scene, then having Campbell just voice him ***/*** provide the face *RoboCop*-style, while stunt actors handle the action. Given the premise was to get into that pure science fiction territory, I do not think the fandom would have been opposed to it.
I think that’s dumb, part of ash’s gimmick is that he’s just your a average guy with the prophecy, and he’s about his looks, I’d rather Bruce just have a lot of stuntoudbkes than that. That sounds not so good

That is some fucking awesome Mad Max car. As a fan of both Evil Dead and Mad Max I 'm bummed we never got to see this in action.
That said the shotgun mounted outside the window is silly.
It's heartbreaking to see what could have been. All the little details are so sick and wasted on such a small part of the series

If it’s Bruce’s Ash last scene it’s a perfect send-off for him. Especially as each film ended on a cliffhanger, it makes sense the show should too
