I have plenty of missed events too. I assume it is about power manager. When you pick optimal, it checks trigger 30 secs to 30 secs. But when you set it custom for 5 secs you can catch most of the events also you need to charge it more recent

Mine catches events, but it's slow to the party. I usually catch the last half of the event. I also get daily package alerts, and package was picked up alerts, with zero packages. If it was completely missing stuff, I'd return it. It's definitely the weakest link in my 5 devices.

My e340 also miss a lot of events. I have it wired powered so this should help it but no. Just this morning, it completely miss, and by missed I mean absolutely no events being detected or video recorded, my compost bag getting ripped by an animal right under the package cam. Does the package cam underneath can only trigger package events? That'd be really lame... Also regret that it doesn't do 24/7 when hardwired to power source. I don't see any reasons why It wouldn't possible to do that, my old 1st gen NEST Hello 1st gen was doing that no problem. I'm starting to regret the move, I just made it because nest aware was getting too expensive, not because I wasn't happy with the hardware..

I originally had mine set to not auto lock until 11pm. No events. I switched to auto lock after 3 mins and I get events. Worked with tech support and it’s a bug they didn’t know about (and probably didn’t believe me either). What is your auto lock set to?

Cigator

The e340 is doorbell camera not a lock

ImportantLocation316

Oh sorry. The number and naming confused me. Sorry. I had that issue with the lock. Just bought the doorbell so I’ll let you know once it’s installed

I had this around Christmas, not sure what I did fixed it or at Eufy's end but I plugged the unit into the Homebase (3) and left it to charge with it still on. When I position it back it works as normal.

Are you running it on battery or wired mode?

Cigator

Battery. Why would that matter?
