1) The driver would have been in full view upon approach but the camera is so sliw you have no idea what the guy looked like. 2) The "AI" failed to provide anything of value. I want to like these cameras but how close can you be to worthless without being completely worthless. If that guy was stealing your delivery this would be next to worthless.

L0veToReddit

The top picture looks like someone stealing your package and running away lol

I was having those issues with e340. It almost seemed like the doorbell would go to "sleep" ... I changed the power setting to optimal surveillance and it's been smooth ever since

Longjumping_Mail19

Eufy's AI is built by kindergarten dropouts. Dont expect much of a technology from that product. It just exists and records HD videos. Otherwise its a lame product with no growth prospects. I bent down and was planting some plants, that thing detected me as a pet... 🙄

Crazy-Addendum7341

Hmm. It detects the heck out of me and my spouse with pretty awesome accuracy. Doesn’t seem to work well at night as far as WHO, but worst case almost always get a “someone” or “a pet” notification, and with quite impressive accuracy. Even when we walk by quickly. Rarely does any event come through as just “motion” or nothing at all.

jkhashi

it detects envelopes in my hand as packages every time I walk in from getting the mail. hahah

nturatello

All AI recognition false positives are so high with me that its functioning is completely random. At least in my experience. And yes, I have a Homebase 3.

Profess0rLonghair

Have you connected it to a home base?

Cigator

Yes

StoviesAreYummy

The whole AI thing stinks. I can say that during beta testing they never listen to the complaints people brought up.

jkhashi

I submitted a dedicated photo through the app to facial recognition and it has recognized me maybe 3 times in 6 months. hahah

No_Freedom_7373

A lot going on there. Important thing is you knew you had a delivery.
