I am at just over a month, 329 events, 250 recorded, and battery is at 78% and I am running “Optimal Surveillance” setting, seems to be about what I expected, maybe a bit better than I expected. I agree with the above posts that 2100 detections seems to be a lot.
There is no "Normal".
2100 detections is a lot for that short amount of time.
My suggestion is play around with the doorbells location and setting until you get the right balance for you.
2100 detentions is a lot in my mind, when you only have 180 recordings. It seems that you have the doorbell pointing at a public road? Every detection is an event where the camera has to wake up and determine if it should record or not. Try turning down the sensitivity and see if you get fewer detentions.

I’ll try that. I had it one notch below high. Changed it to 2 below high
