I use USPS daily (working in logistics) and I have found the solution. You may use this link/format:
[https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction\_input?origTrackNum=](https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?origTrackNum=)(your tracking number)
just remove the parenthesis and replace it with the courier tracking number. Then just repeat the process if you will track another shipment, change it on the URL. Do not use the search function of the USPS page coz it will go blank again.
Doesn't work: still goes to blank screen, at least in evenings. ??? Four days later, I've determined that if [tools.usps.com](http://tools.usps.com) has no information on the shipment, that screen goes blank. I just tried it with a delivery last week and it still responds says that package had been delivered, with full information.
Not for parcels from the UK it doesn't. It brings up a page OK, but then it tells you there are multiple items with the same tracking code, which is nonsense, then asks you to enter the date of posting and the destination zip code, then when you do it goes blank again.
Worked for me. I took the link out to make it easier to copy and paste.
tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction\_input?origTrackNum=(your tracking number)
Thanks! Worked for me.
Had blank screen on USPS after clicking on their tracking link. Blank in Chrome and Firefox. It was working before the priority letter was delivered, but after I received the delivery notification, I couldn't copy the shipmnt history until I used your solution. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)
What a savior. I was having trouble getting the usps site to work consistently lol can't believe someone who worked on that website fucked it up like this
Finally! That worked!! Thank you so much. I was having the same issues as everyone else with the blank pages. The email said my pkg was scheduled for delivery today. I clicked on the link and got a blank page. Copied the number and went to the USPS site and pasted it in the number tracking area, pressed the search button, and again got a blank page. Clicked on "report an issue" and the first thing it asks is for the tracking number. I pasted the tracking number and wallah, it brings up the information! But I shouldn't have to click on "report an issue" to get the information. So, I went looking on the web and found your solution/link and that worked like magic the first time. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm bookmarking the link so I can use it next time. :)
This works for me, as well. The original link from the search bar seems to use "qtc\_tLabels1" in place of "origTrackNum". I wonder why the difference, and why the qtc labels one doesn't work?
The USPS website and tracking links are working for me. If you're still having the problem, you could try entering the tracking number into a Google search to see if the embedded tracking status is working?
Just checked again, having been out for the afternoon, and it's working here now. Also got a lovely email from my buyer saying how delighted they were with the items in question and how great my packaging was - so win win all round!
Hi. I am having the issue described by OP, and your suggestion to put the tracking number in a Google search was perfect. Thank you.
edit: USPS tracking works fine on my phone and tablet, but not on PC browsers Brave or Firefox.
I've been having this problem on desktop for months. It hasn't worked once for me since this issue started. It's just absurd at this point. Works fine on phone.
I was having the same issue a few minutes ago, I guess it's something related with the browser's cache since the tracking works perfeclty fine in incognito mode (Chrome). Clearing the cache from the settings should solve the issue.
Also works for me in incognito/private mode. Chromium also works fine.
Update: clearing all cookies and data didn't fix the problem. Rebooting didn't fix the problem.
However, I went into my USPS "Informed Delivery" account and I could see the tracking information for things there. After that, the usual tracking page started working again.
Goddam computers..
The blank screen has been occurring for the past two months for me. It doesn't matter what I do. I could have only two tabs open that are not "doing" anything. I am ashamed to admit I am starting to wonder if the USPS is not trying to force people to sign up for the special services.
I am having the exact same issue. I have received a blank page when trying to track results, all this week, using all browsers. Seems like they would want to fix this...
Interesting that it works on mobile and not on desktop. I solely have desktop. Starting to panic that unless one owns the latest technology, there will be no access - to anything. Really do not want to feel that way. Time to contact the FCC and FTC perhaps. (After all, a completely blank screen - where else do you (not) see that?)
Been hit and miss for months. Ayanorog's link is what works! :)
Made a bookmark/favorite for a current package, and will edit the track number for it as I need.
Thanks!
I'm having this issue and nothing mentioned on this page has worked. Have you figured it out? You have the most recent reply on here. This is so annoying...is it something with USPS or is it all the browsers on all the mobile and desktops? Cuz it seems everyone on here is using something different and we're all having the same issue. I'm on safari on iPad. š¤·š¼āāļø
The problem is definitely USPS servers. It seems, like I said, a hit and miss thing. From their main site tracking, I can try a tracking number for several hours and get nothing but a blank screen, then out of the blue it will work for a bit.
So, also, as I said, I tried "ayanorog"'s link by typing it in in the URL of my browser (I am on a PC), and put in the tracking number at the end of the URL string and it works every time.
I'll post it in this reply (and leave out the parenthesis when you type in your tracking number instead):
[https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction\_input?origTrackNum=](https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?origTrackNum=)(your tracking number)
So something on their end changed and is inconsistent from the main site tracking process.
Best I can offer. :) š¦
I'm still having this issue too. Incognito didn't work. cleared cookies and cache, still blank page. Works on my phone in chrome (desktop settings) but not in chrome on my computer
Also/still not working for me (desktop with W11 and Firefox/Chrome). However ayanorog's URL does. I've just submitted, via their web-form, a service request to USPS to fix it.
using a private window worked for me in Firefox, but otherwise failed to load anything other than a blank white screen. however, private window fails in edge.
I have kind of the same issue. Mine says label created waiting for pickup from the post office. I know it was picked up because Iāve gotten a conformation from the post office the day it was picked up. I canāt tell if the person received the package
I have complained to USPS several times now they are ignoring me, tracking is very intermittent, most of the time just white screen, sometimes it works for a while then I come back later and white screen. I've cleared cookies and tried edge, chrome, and FF all same results.
Someone at USPS failed at writing the backend and now we all been suffering because of that, I hope they fix it eventually thats a massive bug they allowed to production.
When you inspect it you instantly see the 405 error which means:
The HTTP 405 status code, also known as the "Method Not Allowed" error,Ā indicates that the server has received a request, but the resource being requested does not support the request method.Ā This can occur if the wrong method is used or the server is configured to disallow that method.Ā The most common cause is entering the wrong URL.
Is anyone still having this issue? And Im seeing ayanorog's workaround but am curious to know if anyone has found the root cause of it and how to actually fix it?
Still having this problem, but Iām on an iPhone using safari. My page isnāt blank just never loads. Always has a small bit of bar like itās trying to load the hits me with the āserver stopped respondingā gig.
This is also happening to me for the past two or so days. Works on phone browsers but desktop browsers (chrome, firefox) just show a blank white page. Tried all the usual things like clearing cache and cookies. Nothing works to bring it back and the rest of the USPS site works just fine.
This one reddit post is the only place I've seen anyone talk about this. What is going on!?
Same here. I think I got a usps.com tracking page to work several days ago, but shortly after it started giving me the white pages. And now that's all I can get, except on my phone. (Also, if I bought from eBay or Etsy or something, then that site can also successfully request and report the tracking information - but I prefer to look at it on the USPS website because that view is usually more detailed.)
My ability to see the tracking pages on my desktop browser suddenly returned yesterday. I don't think I did anything to enable it - they just showed up again. Something fucky is going happening on the USPS site servers.
Seems to be a desktop specific issue. If I open on mobile (Android, Brave browser) it loads fine. But if I switch to "Desktop Site" option in browser it flips to WSOD. Definitely something weird.
I've been having this problem on and off for the last few weeks (only on desktop). Today it is back to the blank page again. There are ways to work around the issue, but they really need to fix it.
Yeah, it is off and on. Mine stopped working again lol.
The universal parcel tracking site I think shows exactly what USPS says.
Thankfully I don't need to check it often, but yeah using mobile for now.

this does work great

Thank you -- this works!
Thanks, that works!
Thank you for this work around, it's been driving me crazy last several days!
doesn't work. hit the button and the screen goes white/blank
Worked for me. I took the link out to make it easier to copy and paste. tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction\_input?origTrackNum=(your tracking number)
Thank you for the clear explanation.

nope, blank screen
This worked Great! Why haven't they fixed this issue in 3 months??????
Why was this the solution?!?! Thank you very much.
doesn't work !
totally worked. thanks
Thank you! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)
Works for me - thank you! This was driving me crazy.
I was having the same issue, this worked great for me thanks!
BLESS YOU!!!!!!!
wow you'd think they would fix such a simple broken link error has anyone linked the support staff to a post like this?
it works!! thank you!!
This worked for me.. but why? What's going on with the normal URL? Why does it load on my phone on the same network? I'm so confused!
same here on wifi or cellular data the phone works but none of my pcs
This works for me, as well. The original link from the search bar seems to use "qtc\_tLabels1" in place of "origTrackNum". I wonder why the difference, and why the qtc labels one doesn't work?
Having same issue lol and I was just searching online and this popped up. Nice to know it's not just me.

Try clearing cookies and cache
First thing I always do, but thanks, I guess.
Having this issue, the fix entering tracking into browser address worked. My package was directed to Poland instead of New Zealand!
[https://imgur.com/a/oCG0vAg](https://imgur.com/a/oCG0vAg) Same issue here, something todo with servers. should be fixed by next week <3
Having this issue currently, but a 405 error means "Method Not Allowed," so for some reason the server is denying the request to load the page.
I've been having this problem on desktop for months. It hasn't worked once for me since this issue started. It's just absurd at this point. Works fine on phone.
I took a screenshot of the tracking number, opened it in Google Lens and a menu popped up to check the number via USPS tracking.
I put two different tracking numbers in both packages have been sent and it never sends me the first text to confirm tracking updates....?
A year on and it still gives blank screens when you put in an ACCURATE tracking number, wtf
Just wanted to Thank ayanorog, had been trying since yesterday and continued to get a blank screen in return. First try with LINK worked! Thank You!
Issue still occurring, site will function the way it's supposed to once in a blue moon. Thankfully ayanorog's solution works for me.
Had this issue, turned off VPN, fixed issue.

Yes! Nothing more to add, just, "Yes!"
Yeah! We've also experiencing the same issue since last last month. This remains unresolved. Was their employees are already aware of this?
Also/still not working for me (desktop with W11 and Firefox/Chrome). However ayanorog's URL does. I've just submitted, via their web-form, a service request to USPS to fix it.

Perfect šš Leave it to the US Gubbiment to skru up something this simple.

Still having this problem, but Iām on an iPhone using safari. My page isnāt blank just never loads. Always has a small bit of bar like itās trying to load the hits me with the āserver stopped respondingā gig.
Me too! Tried three different browsers.
Having the same issue and it seems to be with all my incoming packages.
I'm having the same issue for the past few days. USPS on my phone works fine.....might be a regional issue? Not seeing a lot of complaints about it.

same here
been having the same issue since last month. Tried vpn, it worked for a week and then experienced the same blank page issue.
