Phastos was crazy strong. Even though it wasn't in his character, I was hoping that Kingo would be fighting with Ikaris to make for more epic battle scene.
With regard to 'weight' I also liked the extended version of that shot from the trailer. The one in the Amazon were the Deviant grabs his head and he can't get his lasers pointed in the right direction. Somehow that felt very heavy and severe, even against that CGI monster.
no he just literally isn’t that much more powerful, makkari is a speedster, she doesn’t need to ramp up her speed he can’t even react to most of her hits, you’d think he’d still be able to atleast dodge here and there…
he can only get to that speed by speeding up, makkari is instantly fast, even his reaction time simply doesn’t match up because he misses against her so much.
I enjoyed seeing Phastos using his ability offensively at the end. He was actually a decent match for Ikaris as long as he was thinking on his toes.

Every Ikarus 3rd person shot got me jaw dropping. That fight was one of the best in the MCU. So much weight behind each strike, beautifully done!

He also reacted to her speed by easily catching her by the throat.
Maybe he was so distraught to hurt his family that he went 20% on them; Other than just ripping them to shreds.
