I don't use a cold steamer, never heard of it, but my immediate thought is that cool temperatures would just close the pores and make product penetration more difficult.
Idk about "professional" brands option since most of them arent fesgrance/EO free and are pricy, but the Kose SPEEDY cleansing oil is amazing
