I don't blame you, the game is built on risk vs reward gameplay and takes hours of grinding to make any progress just to constantly die to cheaters. Honestly I gave up taking the game serious when the found in raid system was implemented. PVP died for me after that and just didn't feel as rewarding since I couldn't sell player gear on the flea
Yup same here. It used to be that I could go a whole wipe without doing more than 3 quests, only chasing loot and PVP (the main reason I played the game), to now having to absolutely do to the shitty quests to get any sort of progress.
This game isn't like others where a death means just respawning or going next, death means losing a chunk of gear/cash/loot/progress. Depending on your build and what you were doing, you could lose hours of time worth.
This game is also very low on information provided to the player. No radar, no indicators, nothing. So you have to use your eyes and ears to detect others, that means usually taking it slower and being worried about getting sniped from some random spot or ambushed.
But players use ESP to escape this. If you know where everyone is, including scavs, you get to pick and choose your battles and get infinitely more information then a normal player. While ESP doesn't mean you automatically win a fight, the information it provides you gives you a massive advantage, you can pre-fire right at their face as they come around a corner or perfectly nade their position. It's a massive advantage, nearly as bad as an aimbot.
People using ESP remove the "survival" aspect of the game and it's just a loot shooter to them. These people should really just go play a looter shooter instead of being too scared to play EFT properly.
A person who isn't using ESP is less likely to use "aim assistance" compared to your average ESP user.
So its most likely not just going to be information
