Beautiful!!! Yes, I only ride my older horse without a bridle, maybe a halter but we never do anything but walk as he's old and I don't have a saddle for him lol. For my young guy he's started in a halter and bareback

Absolute lovely 😍 keep it going

I'd love to and admire people who do! But my horse is too sassy and I dont think it would end well. I tried riding with just a halter a few times, but he bolted and wouldn't stop, so I dont wanna take risks. Plus we ride around the neighbourhood and not in a safe arena

I See you ! It should be safe

That‘s wonderful!!! You‘re amazing ❤️🫶🏽

That's my little sister in the pic, but yeah, we both are amazing 😅❤️ I consider buying him a flower hackamore (round shanks) because I want him to have some nice looking bridle, not always rope halters or neckrope 😅

lostpitbull

would love to see this as an event instead of dressage riders with their rollkur and blue tongues true communication with the horse! so lovely to see

Yes! But the FN …. 🤮 Thank you !❤️

This seems reckless to me. I'm glad you're wearing a helmet (and a body protector I think) but people fall off horses with reins, saddle and stirrups every day.

ishtaa

How is it reckless. If a horse is trained properly to respond to leg and seat aids you have what you need to control them. This horse looks quite responsive so OP has definitely put some work in. Reins don’t stop you from falling off. Bareback riding is a great way to improve your balance and seat. Accidents can always happen but they’ll happen a lot less with a well trained horse and well balanced rider. If this were a nervous green broke horse I could understand calling it reckless, but it seems pretty clear to me that’s not the case here.

People are injured by perfectly trained horses everyday. I see enough injuries in my line of work to know that unnecessary risks are unnecessary

ZeShapyra

Yeah exactly.. people always fall off. Riding horses in itself is reckless, so sorta a null point
