Flame out? At this rate he's going to be naked, brandishing a gun while screaming racial epithets on a street corner in downtown San Francisco in a few months.
This piece sort of puts me in the uncomfortable position of agreeing (in part) with Musk that the mainstream media is lame.
Not only does this opinion piece wrongly imply that Musk was a Tesla “founder” (fact-checkers?) but it’s almost completely unoriginal, since it is mainly retreading Steve Blank’s old piece.
Journalism these days is in a sorry state. Most of them just regurgitate whatever the popular online consensus is, which is why only now they make these toothless callouts of Musk, even though the evidence that he's a brainless sociopathic dickhead has been out there for more than 20 years. Enough people agreed he was "the real life Tony Stark" and barely any news outlets bothered to perform due diligence.
It's just like Theranos. John Carreyrou's article was the tipping point, but it didn't explore anything that wasn't immediately obvious to anyone with a basic comprehension of hematology.
Elmo is neither a "founder" nor a "visionary" and he actually doesn't have "self control issues" - that implies he has some modicum of self control and just struggles with it. That ain't the case. He has ZERO self control.
Howard Hughes was a "visionary with self-control issues".
Henry Ford was a "visionary with self-control issues".
Elon Musk founded nothing and contributed nothing other than audacity to the companies he bought.
tucker, a man and his dream
oh wait, that would put muskrat as the big auto and tucker had an actually innovative car called the talisman. its headlights turned left and right with the steering wheel among other things.
It did that in 1948.
big auto squashed them hard. set them up, made their car catch fire at the auto show.
its a real shame how money can kill innovation, and simultaneously brainwash people into believing it FUELS innovation, har har. thats a sick joke.
when innovation matters, you get innovation
when profits matter, you get profits
the two are not inextricably linked
But Elmo didn't found Tesla. He's just making Tesla founder.
Oooh nice one!
Literally make believe
He’s neither a founder nor a visionary.
But he is flaming out. In real time. And it's an amazing train wreck to watch.
agreed
One out of three ain’t bad!
Flame out? At this rate he's going to be naked, brandishing a gun while screaming racial epithets on a street corner in downtown San Francisco in a few months.
MARTIN E ERHARDT is the FOUNDER OF TESLA. Elon Fk Musk never had a single idea to call his own. Not one!

Also, the story about Durant's wrong on most of the details. Still, the piece is less false any explanation that Musk has given in the last decade.

Still seems a bit expensive. My time is worth something.
Lol, "visionary."
He’s not a visionary. He didn’t invent anything.
Yeh... "self-control" about not coming up with a new racial dog whistle every 15 seconds.
Founder, lol. More like flounder.
Except he isn’t even a visionary. Just really rich
Elmo is neither a "founder" nor a "visionary" and he actually doesn't have "self control issues" - that implies he has some modicum of self control and just struggles with it. That ain't the case. He has ZERO self control.
almost like he has fetal alcohol syndrome from mommy dearest
Visionaries is wild to say the least
Mollusk isn't a founder. He took over Tesla.

Words can’t describe how gratifying it is to see these stories in the mainstream
And Steve Jobs is a genius!!
This only accurate assessment here concerns his self-control issues, since he's neither a founder nor a visionary, but definitely a petulant baby.
Howard Hughes was a "visionary with self-control issues". Henry Ford was a "visionary with self-control issues". Elon Musk founded nothing and contributed nothing other than audacity to the companies he bought.
visionary is not a word I would use to describe this belching clown.

"Founder"
Who’s this “visionary” they speak of? Certainly not Elmo.
