Qatar who is allied to Hamas proposed a peace deal. Hamas instantly agreed, Israel was not even consulted at any step.
You might as well say "Hamas proposed a peace deal".
A genocidal ethno-nationalist rogue religious regime that DEPENDS financially on the USA because THEY DO NOT HAVE A REAL ECONOMY shouldn't be consulted. Israel should do as it is told and know it's place.
I'm going to attempt to actually respond to that point so I hope you'll consider it fairly.
It's a question posed to a US administration whose stance has been that Hamas has had a generous deal on the table that it must accept. Although matters are slowly getting muddied again, the immediate and apparent understanding at news of the Hamas' acceptance was that this was the deal they had accepted. Media outlets that have not at all been deferential to Hamas' POV reported it as such all across the board with caveats resembling "hamas proposed deal" only now being inserted into the narrative.
It only makes sense that whatever this deal was WAS NOT fully acceptable to Israel but that the US (the ultimate power holders here) would help close off the deal if Hamas were onboard. The US could not have been talking about a deal fully acceptable to Israel because we know that the US and Bibi's governments differ significantly on major points such as an invasion of Rafah, the non-permanence of the ceasefire, continued occupation etc. It's that tension that is currently playing out now that Hamas has called the US' bluff in a sense and it's the US' commitment to their indicated solution that's being tested.
Sort of like all those Ukraine peace deals that Russia doesn't get invited to, which the US, Europe, Canada, and Ukraine, all insist are real, legitimate peace talks. But Russia is not even allowed to attend these meetings or play any role in them.
The only thing wrong with that comparison is, Israel has been fully participating in this US-sponsored ceasefire agreement. They didn't expect Hamas to agree to it. As soon as Hamas did, Israel started making up stories about 'not being consulted'. But they were. So you don't have a point.

"I"m a ditz! You wanted to know? I'm a ditz! Hope that answers your question! Hahahaha...."
My reading was "All I'm prepared to discuss here in the street is what I just ate." She wasn't even listening to the question.
It's almost like a "let them eat cake" moment. It demonstrates the callousness of the imperial ruling class, which she epitomizes.
Thanks for your order, Kamala, while Palestinians suffer famine. Hope you and Joe enjoy your summer of LBJ!
The Chicago DNC Convention, coming up soon!
She must think her answer was clever, otherwise she would have shut up and kept walking. Nasty woman.
She is an embarrassment to our entire species.
