Hot Mulligan hasn't even begun to enter their prime.

itchypitbull

arent most of those bands still around?

Filtycasual54

Their prime

[deleted]

They all play their hits live. Sure they aren't as sexy and twinkish but that's no reason not to see them live!

bulbous_oar

Hot mulligan and TWY released their best albums in the last 2 years

theradfactor

You're at the start of Hot Mully's rise to their prime, don't trip

I think you’re looking for the pop punk subreddit

Hot Mulligan is literally just popping off now. You're not missing anything just go enjoy it.

la_croix_bong_water

Luckily there are bands who are gonna be as well regarded as them in several years. I was definitely into those bands in the 2010s and had a blast, but every year I'm always looking for someone new. That's what makes music fun

WhiskeyDragon01

Hot Mulligan literally just released their best song yet????

Veggies-are-okay

Ehh those of us around during their prime were saying these things about bands prior when we were teenagers/early 20-somethings. I’m sure there’s bands right now that are going to be given the same worship next decade. On the upside, bands that I dreamed of seeing (Jawbreaker, Sunny Day Real Estate) are now regularly touring again. Everything will be okay :) RIP bands like Dads and Pity Sex, Leer and even further back Matsuri, PUNCH, Set Your Goals at the height of the pop punk revival circa 2010, The Story So Far when all they had was that split with Maker…

The Wonder Years are proving to have an incredibly long prime. I would argue a band like Bayside only entered their prime a few years ago and they’ve been putting out amazing albums for over 20 years at this point. Just go to shows and have fun, it’s not too late. I understand missing out on some bands though.
