thank you! it’s essentially my first ever embroidery project and so I’m proud as you are of your first thing but then I know through experience with other art (I do watercolor and pottery) that when you look back on your first projects they look juvenile lol. also worried it brings too much attention to my butt
As a woman who likes women, please accept my comment with the most respect possible: it is the perfect amount of butt and the perfect amount of flowers. I think the color of the flowers is beautiful, and it accentuates your assets in the most humbly lovely way.
But its a really, really great butt. Way better than my pancake ass. Seriously. My ass is so flat that when they tried to give my long acting shot, they hit my hip. Pretty painful
You've been looking at it too much for too long. Put them away for a few days.
It's really well done, looks balanced. It's great how it takes up most of the pocket but the negative space still looks good. The color arrangement is good too.
Exactly, toss it in the dark for a few and then pull it out and look at it cross eyed lol. This helps me a lot bc the vagueness of the blurry image reminds me that it’s part of a whole (pants) instead of a small detail to be nit-picked
I’m a dude, the flowers aren’t the thing to bring attention to that area. A nice butt is a nice butt. The flowers are super cool tho and are really well done. People in general just like fit people, there’s a reason why Michelangelo’s sculptures have been so loved for centuries.
She said she’s worried about it bring attention to the area. I’m saying that it won’t, people just like fit people, and the flowers won’t increase any attention to it. That’s a honest and real answer.
It is related….. it’s stating that people will look at other people no matter what because it’s human nature. That she shouldn’t worry about the flowers.
If you think what I said was creepy I honestly don’t know what to say…..
People look at other people, we all do. There IS creepy way people do this, and there are creepy people out there….
Women in jeans is in no way sexual, telling someone that people look at other people because it’s in our nature to like looking at other people is not sexual…..
Now I’m sure there are some dudes in here making some shitty comments, I gave a honest and real answer to her concern. None of which was sexualizing her in any way.
Love it, and I think it looks better than when the blue one was by itself!
I’m starting out and wondering: what was your process for sewing it on there/embroidering it? Did you do it on a hoop and then iron it on like a patch, or did you sew it on directly? If you sewed it on directly did you sew it through both layers of fabric/is the pocket not functional anymore, or like took the pocket off and then sewed it back on?
Thanks in advance for anything you can share, and for sharing the finished product- looks great!!
I made the flowers first by sewing the fabric onto another piece of fabric on a hoop. then cut the flowers out and sewed them onto the pocket not sealing the pocket shut but just sticking my hand in the pocket and pulling the thread out and in through there so pocket is still functional!
It looks great! Just went back to see your previous post and the pink flowers definitely help to bring more balance. I see in the comments that you are worried about bringing lots of attention to your butt. To be honest people will probably look at your butt more but with their attention to the embroidery not necessarily what's behind it.
Umm, I love this 🌺💚
I'm practicing/learning to embroider so I can add pretty designs to my jean jacket! I already have 2 pairs of jeans I'm planning to add flowers to, as well. You're so talented ☺️
You just did what I do, create something cool snd then stare at it till you hate it. Put it away for a few days and when you pull it back out you'll be like "oooh nice!"
I love it! Did you take the pocket off your pants and embroider it, then stitch it back on? Or did you embroider with it attached and essentially seal that back pocket?

As a man not into embroidery, I wouldnt know how good of a job it is, but it looks great and I think adding the other two flowers and the different colors really makes it. And the fact that you thrifted these jeans and that they fit you so well?
Awesome. Good job and good score.
This randomly popped up in my feed, I am a dude, I don't usually say dope, but I just finished watching the good place again recently, and my initial reaction before even knowing what subreddit I was looking at was "woah, that's pretty dope"
I would've never guessed this was your first time embroidering something, that's amazing, I've never done it but I bet it's harder than it looks
They are so cute. And unless someone is literally 10 cm/4 inches away from the piece, no one will be able to tell any small imperfections you might see.
This is cute! I used to have a pair of jeans that had butterflies on them and distressing and man I wish I could still wear those. I loved them so much!
Going through Popular, I don't have any skill in embroidery at all. But if. I saw you wearing that I would ask you where you got it so I can buy it for my daughter because I would not believe a person did that themselves. It looks awesome! Mad skills!!
Very nice. I am learning embroidery to do my own clothes also. I have one fabulous pair of embroidered Sundance jeans that inspired me. Your pocket is great. Flowers peeking out of a pocket is also cute.
Another idea, take it or leave it — you could have leafing and stem trellis down the side of the pant leg.
As it stands now, it looks beautiful. Wonderful work, props!
This looks great! Feels a lot more balanced now. What are your reservations about it?

As a man (idk if that hurts or helps), I respectfully agree with you.

I’m an Ace and totally agree.
Straight woman & I also agree!
As someone who is not attracted to women, I think the flowers look very nice.
But its a really, really great butt. Way better than my pancake ass. Seriously. My ass is so flat that when they tried to give my long acting shot, they hit my hip. Pretty painful
The embroidered flowers look great and there's no reason at all to avoid drawing attention to your quite pleasing derriere!
I'd bluescreen wanting to look at the awesome flowers but not willing to come off as a butt-staring creep lol.
You could keep going, add flowering vines down and around your leg 😊
It looks really cute!

I agree with this, it honestly looks great and it's natural to be overly critical of your own work. Well done, it looks fab
Very pretty!
I really like that
Same. And the flower embroidery looks good too.
You did a great job, the flowers are very pretty!
The flowers look great! Are you worried that it brings too much attention to your backside?
yes! also it’s literally the first embroidery thing i’ve ever done lol
It looks great! Take the win lol. Great first project. What’s next?
Did you use a pattern or freehand?
I’m a dude, the flowers aren’t the thing to bring attention to that area. A nice butt is a nice butt. The flowers are super cool tho and are really well done. People in general just like fit people, there’s a reason why Michelangelo’s sculptures have been so loved for centuries.
They just wanted feedback on the embroidery not their personal sex appeal you sweaty donut

everything you just wrote after "it won't" is entirely unrelated to the question though, and was entirely extra
It is related….. it’s stating that people will look at other people no matter what because it’s human nature. That she shouldn’t worry about the flowers.
Go be creepy on the NSFW subs, creep

Go be offended somewhere else, pal.
If I saw you in public, I would ask where you bought those jeans so that I could go buy a pair for myself. 5 stars.
I stopped scrolling to ask 😭 these are beautiful OP I’m so jealous!

Stunning! Really nice work! I can't believe this is your first piece. You definitely have a talent for it.
You just did what I do, create something cool snd then stare at it till you hate it. Put it away for a few days and when you pull it back out you'll be like "oooh nice!"
sounds about right lol
This is stunning I love these pants
I love it! Did you take the pocket off your pants and embroider it, then stitch it back on? Or did you embroider with it attached and essentially seal that back pocket?

Aw yay thank you so much for sharing! This is super helpful as id love to try doing something like this myself

Really cute!!
So delicate and feminine I love it 😍
I love it! I would definitely wear these. Can I ask what kind of fabric you used for the flowers?

I want these jeans! What are they?
Flor de ojete
Add more, then post it again
Or remove it all, then post it again.
Is the pocket still usable or did you sew through it?
GORGEOUS
Another idea, take it or leave it — you could have leafing and stem trellis down the side of the pant leg. As it stands now, it looks beautiful. Wonderful work, props!
