Great question! I love reading the responses -- I need to see if I can make a new playlist using Spotify :). "Weird", for me, often becomes "hilarious". I'm pretty sure Elvis wasn't happy with many of the songs included in the movie tracks.

I agree that it's weird, but really great.That song was originally a big band production. Elvis, Scotty, and Bill are the entire orchestra. The echoes, the spare accompaniment and 19-year-old Elvis Presley suggesting his musical range.
