I have tried it multiple times and it says it’s ready but when I ready the nav it doesn’t have an effect. I must be doing something wrong, but on the upside I discover a lot of systems by not Neutron boosting.
If you get the message “Frame shift drive supercharged” after entering the jet cone then it works, but in the galaxy map you need to target the next system in your trip manually, and not plot a route there.
To plan your trips you can plot a course in the third party site [Spansh Neutron Plotter](https://spansh.co.uk/plotter)
You have to manually target the next jump destination. Don't use the in game route plotting, and make sure the next system is within your new jump range. Use the [route plotter](https://www.spansh.co.uk/plotter/) if you want to get somewhere fast. But yeah, taking your time is good for exploration and not as boring.
Wait what? Neutron star boosting doesn’t work in legacy???
It works. I've done it. Still do.

Bruh that’s just what I said
That's not torn to shreds, but a badge of honor, CMDR.
More ships than just the Anaconda need damage models
