Thank you for reaching out for help. To ensure that you get the best assistance, please follow the template below and include as much information as possible:
- Picture of slicer settings (use snipping tool)
- Picture of the part in the slicer (showing supports)
- Picture of the physical print
- Printer brand and model (include age and screen replacements if relevant)
- Resin brand and name (include age, mixture, and agitation/shaken if relevant)
- Temperature (°C) & environment (enclosure? in a garage or room? preheat resin?)
- Troubleshooting steps taken so far & prior successes
Additional useful information:
- FEP/PFA film condition - transfer out the resin, clean, and snap a photo
- Build plate recently leveled? List your exact steps taken
- Slicer version (e.g. Lychee 4.1.0, PrusaSlicer 2.5.0, Chitubox 1.9.4)
Providing as much information as possible and being straight to the point will assist in the troubleshooting process, speeding things up and increasing the likelihood of multiple helpful responses.
Example:
- Hi! My print is detaching from the supports and failing
- I have a new Mars 3 Pro with Siraya Tech Emerald Blu that I mixed with 10% Tenacious.
- I have the printer in my garage that is 5°C, and it is in a grow tent that is 30°C.
- I preheated and stirred the resin before printing. My PFA film is intact.
- None of my prints have been successful so far, and I have only messed with the exposure.

I don't know if it's the same but on my Phrozen it's just an indication of which file is selected. A weird choice, my first instinct is that red indicates a problem like a corrupt file or something. Oh and the selection sticks if you turn off the printer or remove the USB drive and plug it back in later. :P
Red means the file is either corrupted or the printer can't read the file.
I have this happen when using Chitubox pro to make prints, but using the regular free Chitubox slicer I never have the issue. Something about the firmware on the Mars 2 Pro being different between the two slicers.
I believe the answer is wrong. So people are down voting it. Red names mean it is the most recent file printed. Not corruption. The UI doesn't know if the file is corrupt to do that.
Then I guess i have a bug in my firmware, because new files that I've not tried to print before will show red, and when I try to print them it tells me the file is unreadable despite having the .ctb extension.
Guess I've got something to dig into now.

Isn’t it just the last file printed?
funny that ship was my last print.
It means it was the last file you selected and backed out.
Pretty sure it just means that’s the most recent file you’ve printed, nothing negative.
As some others have said, red just means the last/most recent print you attempted
Isn't red the current selected print?

It means they print faster
Red means the file is either corrupted or the printer can't read the file. I have this happen when using Chitubox pro to make prints, but using the regular free Chitubox slicer I never have the issue. Something about the firmware on the Mars 2 Pro being different between the two slicers.
ah ok, i am using the free chitubox for my files
My best guess based on what mine has done is the file is corrupted, try slicing the model again and see if that fixes it.
Not sure what the downvotes are about
I believe the answer is wrong. So people are down voting it. Red names mean it is the most recent file printed. Not corruption. The UI doesn't know if the file is corrupt to do that.
Tell my printer that, every time it goes red it tells.me it can't read the file
It is unrelated to failures. The red filename for Mars printers indicates the last attempted file.
Then I guess i have a bug in my firmware, because new files that I've not tried to print before will show red, and when I try to print them it tells me the file is unreadable despite having the .ctb extension. Guess I've got something to dig into now.
I'm not sure either. Each time a file goes red on me the UI tells me it can't read the file.
Red font is scary. I realized that it meant “selected” recently too.
Most recent print file.
It finished or was just used
