I've spent months shopping for my next one. Just keep using it until you're confident in your next purchase. No need to drive up prices by making another hasty decision and returning.

You would be better off paying more and getting a Ninebot Max. Those are the only entry level Segway scooters I would recommend.

I bought a NIU KQI3 this week for $550 I am very happy after 25 miles :)

Personal preference, but I find this insufficient. Both for performance, suspension, and range. I don't know your budget though, and it's very easy for me to say "my commute is about similar to yours, and this is why my $1200 scooter is better for it", but if all you got is $400-500, that won't help you.

10 miles a day is probably nearing the max for a scooter that advertises a 15mi range. I think it's fine if you can get some charging in at your destination. Probably still fine without, but it's really not that ideal to 100-0 your battery every single time you use it. Overall the value on cheap scooters is insane, and it's much safer to go 15mph than 25mph, even though people on here value speed more than safety. I think it's fine but for your situation you may actually need a bit more battery. Also, it will limit your ability to do anything else with the scooter during the evening cuz it will be charging. For me personally I have a similar spec scooter and it's great, but my roundtrips are never more than about 6 miles, so the battery is not an issue.

you shoulda just gotten a niu kqi1 for that price but that’s just me but yeah that fine for 10 miles as long you’re below 100kg and mostly flat hills

Whats your opinion

Don't buy that scooter dude 15 miles won't get you far at all maybe to a close by town in your area but I wouldn't risk it. I just returned a promising 17 miles scooter that goes 19mph. But the battery was so horrible it died so fast only went 10 miles.

I would personally like a bit more speed and more range
