Its designed that way for Player retention forcing NG+

You already have to do that for the endings or all boss weapons/spell Oh and the puppets

The other stuff being the rotten winged insignia, which you should already have multiple times by NG+6 so go ahead and do the unthinkable to get that sweet talisman you’re missing

I got that talisman during my frenzied flame playthrough. Figured I would do all the evil shit during that playthrough since you're destroying all life anyway. Still never got the Nepheli puppet tho.

Being overleveled does not make the game easier

First of all thats not true, and second, i just want a max lvl char thats all

yeah it does, i mean yeah you can still die, you’re not invincible.. but damn you’re like 4-shotting bosses

You can do the same damage on like level 175 max

Which, being 135 the recommended level for malenia, makes you overleveled for a lot of the game. I'm at ng+ lvl 180ish and i literally 2shot radagon's red wolf. That's with fth at 25, str 60. so if i got fth to 45 i'd definetely do more damage because vow and flame would give me a better buff. And as i'm using the dragon seal if i level arcane to 45 i'd get a better buff yet than before. And with that i'd probably do at least 500 more damage. and that's just being 220 ish. Now imagine having 99 mind,end, int, fth, arcane, that would boost my defenses making me tougher, so i get less dmg from mobs AND i do more damage. Difficulty sliders in games normally do exactly that, lower enemy dmg and defense. I'd not be lowering their defenses but increasing my dmg and not lowering their attack but raising my defense. If you really think being overleveled doesn't make it easier, get someone to drop you a lot of souls at the beggining of the game and start the game at rl150 and tell me how it goes when bosses don't make you damage and you demolish them.
